The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-six percent (46%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21. Overall, 41% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. That’s the lowest level of approval yet recorded for this president. Fifty-eight percent (58%) now disapprove.

ALMORA, Minn. — Authorities in Minnesota say two people are dead after a series tornadoes raked across the northwest part of the state. Otter Tail County Emergency spokesman says an elderly woman was killed when a tornado destroyed her home in Almora, a town of about 20 people. The Polk County sheriff's department says a man was killed when a twister destroyed a gas station in Mentor. Three other people were injured. Heavy damage also has been reported in Wadena.
