Gordon Liddy, a brash former FBI agent who helped orchestrate the 1972 Watergate break-in, a crime that began the unraveling of Richard Nixon’s presidency, died Tuesday at the age of 90, the Washington Post reported. Liddy, who parlayed his Watergate infamy into a 20-year career as a conservative talk-radio host, died at his daughter’s home in Fairfax County, Virginia, the paper said.

In an ironic show of Democratic hypocrisy, her opponent, Rita Hart – with the help of Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. – is objecting to the election results. Miller-Meeks won by a small margin of six votes, as certified by a bipartisan election board. Hart realized her challenge was more likely to be favorably entertained by Pelosi than by any court, so she bypassed Iowa’s court system and took her objection directly to the U.S. Congress.

That emerges from information shared with the LA Times by an anonymous Google user, who said they were notified about this in an email from the tech giant, who said the request came from the Department of Homeland Security, without including the request itself in the email.
