Luntz Focus Group: Obama Deserves No Credit on Osama Post Date: 2011-05-09 10:55:54 by no gnu taxes

To the "mainstream" media that installed Barack Hussein Obama in office: good luck getting the American people to credit the Manchurian Moonbat for the demise of his near-namesake; you're going to need it. You can fool most of the people most of the time, but despite what our liberal elite rulers may think, we're not all idiots. Obama has gone out of his way to dismantle the Bush policies that led to lead through bin Laden's brain.

How Obama is helping Al-Qaeda Post Date: 2011-05-09 09:54:45 by no gnu taxes

No one on Earth has done more to help al-Qaeda in the last six weeks than Barack Obama. Dont let the bin Laden assassination thing fool you. Even with the loss of bin Laden factored in, al-Qaedas prospects have improved dramatically in recent weeks, and the group has Obama to thank. Sure, bin Laden is gone, and that was a bit of a PR hit to the group. But Obama more than made up for that by setting up al-Qaeda financially for years to come. One of the first things the U.S.-led coalition did when it invade d Libya in March was to help the radical Islamist led rebels capture the oil fields. Thanks to Obama, they will no longer need to depend on rich Saudi sheiks to fund jihad ...

Barack Obama will honor a far left cop-killer promoting poet at a White House on Wednesday night. One of the poets is from Obamas former hate-church. In fact, theres even video of Common performing at Trinity United with the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. According to the Associated Press, Obama will celebrate American poetry and prose with a gathering of poets, musicians and artists at the White House next Wednesday night. One of the poets who will attend is Lonnie Rashid Lynn, Jr. who goes by the name Common. It is likely Obama met Common at the Rev. Jeremiah Wrights Trinity United Church of Christ were both men were members. Several of ...
Terror Expert Fred Burton: Waterboarding Led Us to Osama Bin Laden (Video) Post Date: 2011-05-09 09:35:36 by no gnu taxes

Its my understanding that the intelligence nugget that we first got was based on the couriers pseudonym which came from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed through enhanced interrogation techniques when he was first located in one of our out of the country prisons
I think its very good intelligence information that the original nugget of information surfaced during his first interview at an out of the country facility.
I was Correct; Waterboarding Pays great Dividends -- We GOT Osama Bin Laden IN SPITE of President Obama. Post Date: 2011-05-09 09:28:46 by no gnu taxes

Several months ago, I wrote a Blog on the benefits of Waterboarding. I was personally criticized for my views. Some thought they were unreasonable and unwarranted. WELL, WELL, I hate to say (not really) I told you so! It is official: Waterboarding Terrorist captives produced the intelligence that lead to the Killing of Osama Bin Laden. Here is what MUST BE REMEMERED
When the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, was taken into custody in March of 2003 he was extremely defiant and refused to answer any questions. However, instead of being taken to America and given a lawyer, he found himself in a secret CIA black site in an undisclosed location. It ...

It didn't take long for the usual suspects on the right to start whining about politicizing a historic moment. But it isn't political exploitation to tell the truth. And none of the voices that now decry the truth-telling cared a whit when Bush blatantly exploited the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, with politically timed orange alerts and the lies and fear-mongering that led the nation into a war on a nation that had had nothing to do with the September 11 attacks. Republicans have been dishonestly exploiting fears of foes real and imagined for decades, and the cynical strategy's most recent incarnations have been the questions about President Obama's birth ...
How George W. Bush’s secret CIA prisons and waterboarding killed Osama Bin Laden Post Date: 2011-05-09 08:29:09 by no gnu taxes

Obama should NOT be getting a speck of credit for the execution of Osama Bin Laden. It was GEORGE W. BUSH who created the enhanced interrogation techniques and clandestine prisons that led to the location of Osama Bin Laden. Barack Obama voted to stop the enhanced interrogation techniques, and to close the secret CIA prisons. The ultra-liberal Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that the secret CIA prisons led to the killing of Osama Bin Laden. Excerpt: Officials say CIA interrogators in secret overseas prisons developed the first strands of information that ultimately led to the killing of Osama bin Laden. Current and former U.S. officials say that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind ...
Hurray For Waterboarding Post Date: 2011-05-09 08:24:41 by no gnu taxes

Not surprisingly, Osama bin Laden was nailed through information gained from interrogating terrorists. It led to a trusted associate of the worlds most wanted terrorist. From there, finding bin Laden was a matter of locating that individual and tracking him to al Qaedas leader. It took years to get the job done because of the elaborate security procedures that protected bin Laden. But, last Sunday, Osama got his. Good riddance to the man mislabeled a mastermind for pulling off 9/11. It just isnt that hard to figure out how to murder unarmed civilians. The interrogation techniques used to gather the information leading to bin Ladens demise have been intensely ...
The Waterboarding Trail to bin Laden Post Date: 2011-05-09 08:21:39 by no gnu taxes

Osama bin Laden was killed by Americans, based on intelligence developed by Americans. That should bring great satisfaction to our citizens and elicit praise for our intelligence community. Seized along with bin Laden's corpse was a trove of documents and electronic devices that should yield intelligence that could help us capture or kill other terrorists and further degrade the capabilities of those who remain at large. But policies put in place by the very administration that presided over this splendid success promise fewer such successes in the future. Those policies make it unlikely that we'll be able to get information from those whose identities are disclosed by the material ...
"Bush Quietly Carried His Cross" -- Now would be the opportune time for the Left to admit that they were wrong after all Post Date: 2011-05-09 08:16:19 by no gnu taxes

Now would be the opportune time for the Left to admit that they were wrong after all. Bush's interrogation tactics resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden. Americans are beginning to wake up to the fact that Bush's "torture" tactics may have played more than just a small part in Obama's victory dance. This has to be killing those on the Left who would rather sacrifice their own mothers on an altar than admit that George W. Bush was right all along. Read from the American Thinker: The Sacrificial Presidency of George W. Bush By Paul Kengor "'Yeah, we waterboarded Khalid Sheikh Mohammed,' former President George W. Bush told an audience in Grand Rapids, ...
There is no Debate over Waterboarding Post Date: 2011-05-09 08:09:25 by no gnu taxes

Once again, the liberal media is trying to convince America that there is actually a debate over waterboarding. I will reiterate that there is none. Americans were saved from a 9/11 style attack in Los Angeles because the CIA waterboarded Khalid Sheikh Muhammed, and Osama bin Laden never would have been caught if terror suspects hadnt been waterboarded. Case closed. While it may be true that many suspects offer up information under different techniques, many of the techniques are just as brutal as waterboarding. At the end of the day, there are several ways to get information from suspects, but suspects are all different, and they all respond differently to techniques. At the end of ...
[Maricopa County Sheriff ] Arpaio "Fires" 2 Deputies for Corruption; New Accusations Made of Racism in his Office Post Date: 2011-05-09 05:32:22 by Ferret Mike

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, here at a rally for the Tea Party in October 2010 in Phoenix, accepted the resignations of two of his deputies. (Photo by Joshua Lott/Getty Images) Sheriff Joe Arpaio fired two of his top deputies for alleged corruption, just as reports broke of racist jokes against Mexicans within his department. Arpaio, already a lightning rod for his tough immigration laws in Maricopa County, is simultaneously dealing with a number of different controversies. On Tuesday, he accepted the resignations of two of his top deputies, essentially firing his right-hand men when allegations of corruption become too much to bear. KSAZ Fox 10 in Phoenix reported that David ...
Bin Laden: When the Lie Becomes the Truth Post Date: 2011-05-09 00:02:56 by A K A Stone

The US governments bin Laden story was so poorly crafted that it did not last 48 hours before being fundamentally altered. Indeed, the new story put out on Tuesday by White House press secretary Jay Carney bears little resemblance to the original Sunday evening story. The fierce firefight did not occur. Osama bin Laden did not hide behind a woman. Indeed, bin Laden, Carney said, was not armed. The firefight story was instantly suspicious as not a single SEAL got a scratch, despite being up against al Qaeda, described by former Pentagon chief Donald Rumsfeld as the most dangerous, best-trained, vicious killers on the face of the earth. ...

Free the Federal Lands for States to Develop By Samuel J. Mikolaski When the United States was formed the Congress owned no lands. It is time to establish the right of land ownership for every state in the union. Heavy handedness by the White House restricting drilling in the Gulf and Alaska, combined with the day-by-day rise in gasoline prices, have focused public attention as never before on the enervation of local economies by federal bureaucrats and the emasculation of the power of states to create opportunity for their citizens. Add to that the attempt by the National Labor Relations Board to force Boeing to halt assembly of Boeing's Dreamliner in South Carolina and to ...

The Best-ever Symbol of Government Incompetence? By Alan M Aszkler America's largest coal mine fire is the marquee for government ineffectiveness and environmental activism's false pretense. Centralia, PA is home to America's largest coal mine fire -- still burning today since May of 1962. Forty-nine years of government folly, environmentalist demonization, and media sensationalism have managed to fan the flames under Centralia, escalating the costs to end this ecological disaster from under $100,000 in the early sixties to over $600 million today. Bureaucratic half-measures started in the 60's with a planned town dump in an old mine pit. Regulations required that any ...

Obama can't just turn and walk away from the fact that CIA officials are under threat of indictment for the use of waterboarding and other EITs that led directly to the death of Bin Laden - while Obama takes credit for the results. Post Date: 2011-05-07 18:44:44 by no gnu taxes

"They can't hold the lid on this!" Yesterday, Debra Burlingame, sister of the 9/11 pilot of the hijacked plane that terrorists flew into the Pentagon, warned that Obama couldn't turn his back and walk away from the public outrage about possible indictment of CIA officials because, "The media is too interested." Still, in an exclusive interview with Fox News, Burlingame recounted her one-on-one meeting with President Obama in which Obama did just that - turned his back and walked away. Burlingame described her personal pleas for President Obama to speak to Holder about ceasing pursuit of possible criminal charges against the CIA officials as falling on deaf ...

As lefties gloat over the political implications of Osama bin Ladens demise, and the media ramp up an Obama bounce meme, conservatives should politely but persistently shift the conversation from politics to policy. In my latest column for Townhall, I draw on a number of fascinating news accounts elucidating how the our military and intelligence community finally nailed bin Laden. US officials describe a mosaic of intelligence that ultimately led a team of Navy SEALs to a compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan suggesting that it took many years and myriad sources to pinpoint bin Ladens precise location. As we now know, the central strand of intel ...
1994: Army War College Paper Proposes use of Computer Generated Insurgents Post Date: 2011-05-07 09:29:05 by A K A Stone

In 2008, Old-Thinker News reported on a 1994 strategic paper published by the U.S. Army War College titled “Revolution In Military Affairs And Conflict Short Of War,” written by Dr. Steven Metz (who works for the RAND Corporation) and James Kievit. Recent events have made this paper even more precient than ever. The document outlines an eerily familiar scenario in which a group of revolutionaries within government hijack control of the levers of power and begin a program of pre-emptive war, psychological operations at home and abroad, and false flag attacks blamed on “…computer generated insurgent leader[s]“.
In July of 1994 the U.S. Army War College Strategic Studies Institute (SSI) ...

Its a fact that by now only the lefts bitter enders will deny, but its nice hearing it from the former US Attorney General. It began with a disclosure from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM), who broke like a dam under the pressure of harsh interrogation techniques that included waterboarding. He loosed a torrent of informationincluding eventually the nickname of a trusted courier of bin Laden. That regimen of harsh interrogation was used on KSM after another detainee, Abu Zubaydeh, was subjected to the same techniques. When he broke, he said that he and other members of al Qaeda were obligated to resist only until they could no longer do so, at which point it became ...
Teachers to pay extra dues to fight Ohio union law Post Date: 2011-05-07 09:06:49 by Ferret Mike

COLUMBUS, Ohio Members of Ohio's largest teachers' union have agreed to a one-time, $54 dues increase to pay for the fight against Ohio's new collective bargaining law. A spokeswoman for the Ohio Education Association says 111,000 active union members would pay the extra dollars under a proposal overwhelmingly approved Friday. School support staff would pay $25. Student and retired members were exempted. The dues change could mean an additional $5.5 million for the union. Spokeswoman Michele Prater says the dollars could be spent on advertisements and to help gather the signatures needed to ask voters to overturn the measure this fall. Ohio's new law affects more ...

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin has removed two influential neo-conservative advisers from her inner circle and replaced them with people who have a more pragmatic view towards American foreign policy. The advisers, Orion Strategies Randy Scheunemann, the former executive director of the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq, and Michael Goldfarb, a former reporter and protege of Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol, have been shaping Palins conconservative foreign policy stance since she ran as John McCains running mate in 2008, reports Politco.com. The two left her PAC on good terms, Palin aide Tim Crawford told the online paper. Replacing Scheunemann and Goldfarb is ...

* Obama to America - I feel your pain on gas prices * 2012 election looms in pivot to economy from bin Laden By Alister Bull WASHINGTON, May 7 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama turned on Saturday from national elation over the killing of America's most wanted foe to face the threat that high gasoline prices and unemployment pose to his own 2012 re-election hopes. Six days after announcing U.S. special forces had killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, the president offered a sober message in his weekly radio address that he understood many Americans were still struggling through hard times. "Although our economy hasn't been the focus of the news this week, not a day goes ...
