Update (1 p.m. ET): MillerCoors has been ordered to pull all of their beer products from Minnesota store shelves. The Minnesota Department of Public Safety told the Star Tribune that the products had to be removed because the company did not renew their brand label registration before a government shutdown began. Some of the popular brands included Coors Light, Miller Lite and Blue Moon. MillerCoors said they would fight decision. Veteran city councilwoman Janice Hahn, a Democrat whose brother James once served as Los Angeles mayor, won a special election held on Tuesday for the California congressional seat vacated by Jane Harman, a Democrat who recently left Congress to become the president of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Hahn defeated Craig Huey, a tea-party-affiliated Republican, as well as that guy who made the crazy ad about Koreans.
