I posted the link to Goggle news so you all can read several stories about this incident. The right wing creeps are also infiltrating the 99% movement trying to discredit them as well using similar tactics.
Postponement Of NYC Park Cleanup Heartens Protesters, Who Say It Buoys Their Cause Post Date: 2011-10-14 10:23:36 by Brian S

The official cleanup of a New York plaza where protesters have camped out for a month was postponed early Friday, sending up cheers from demonstrators who feared the effort was merely a pretext to evict them and said the victory emboldened their movement. Protesters had already been scrambling to clean up the park on their own in hopes of staving off eviction when Deputy Mayor Cas Holloway announced that the owner of the private park, Brookfield Office Properties, had put off the cleaning. There was still some skepticism even after the protesters, who call their demonstration Occupy Wall Street, were told they could stay on. "I'll believe it when we're able to stay ...

BOOK WARNS OF END Fri Oct 14 2011 07:00:25 ET **Exclusive** "As the faith that gave birth to the West is dying in the West, peoples of European descent from the steppes of Russia to the coast of California have begun to die out, as the Third World treks north to claim the estate. The last decade provided corroborating if not conclusive proof that we are in the Indian Summer of our civilization." So begins Pat Buchanan in his hardcore work, SUICIDE OF A SUPERPOWER. "Will America Survive to 2025?" Buchanan, set for maximum controversy, launches all rockets at introduction "Disintegrating Nation" -- and does not let up for 400-plus pages. "America is ...

NEW YORK The small Manhattan square occupied by anti-Wall Street protestors for almost four weeks will be temporarily cleared for cleaning on Friday, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said. Bloomberg went to the protest site, where several hundred people are camped out, to explain the move, which would be the first time the demonstrators are asked to leave, the mayors office said. Bloomberg said the owners of the plaza wanted to exercise their duty in cleaning it and that this was their right, although protestors would be allowed back immediately. Mayor Bloomberg went to Zuccotti Park to talk with the protesters himself and inform them that on Friday morning ...

President Barack Obama greets audience members after speaking at the White House Forum on American Latino Heritage, Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at the Interior Department in Washington. (AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster) WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama's campaign raised more than $70 million combined for his re-election and the Democratic party during the summer, an amount that gives him a clear advantage over his Republican rivals but is less than his initial fundraising effort. The fundraising total announced Thursday exceeds a goal set by the campaign of $55 million combined for the July-September fundraising period but is about $16 million less than Obama raised during the ...
Alabama.: Inmates Can Replace Hispanic Farmhands Post Date: 2011-10-13 20:18:57 by Brian S

Alabama farmers frantically looking for workers to replace those that have fled the state in the wake of its tough new immigration law should just stop by their local prison, according to the head of Alabamas agriculture department. John McMillan, commissioner of the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries, told the Montgomery Advertiser on Thursday that inmate labor through the states work-release program offers a short-term solution to the sudden labor shortage that has hit Alabama since enforcement of its illegal immigration law kicked in. Some farmers have said the states new law has driven away Hispanic migrant farm workers and without another ...

Congress, Governors Nix Obama's High-speed Trains by Michael Barone Dead. Kaput. Through. Finished. Washed up. Gone-zo. That, I think, is a fair description of the Obama administration's attempt to build high-speed rail lines across America. It hasn't failed because of a lack of willingness to pony up money. The Obama Democrats' February 2009 stimulus package included $8 billion for high-speed rail projects. The Democratic Congress appropriated another $2.5 billion. But Congress is turning off the spigot. The Republican-controlled House has appropriated zero dollars for high-speed rail. The Democratic-majority Senate Appropriations Committee has appropriated $100 ...

Americans support for the death penalty has waned to a 39-year low, according to results of a Gallup poll released Thursday. The controversial topic of capital punishment has been in the news recently surrounding the execution of Georgia inmate Troy Davis. Davis was convicted of murdering off-duty Georgia police officer Mark MacPhail in 1989. During his two decades of imprisonment, the evidence in Davis case planted the seed of doubt about his guilt in the crime. Davis was executed by lethal injection on Sept. 21, 2011, to widespread public outcry. Despite the widespread rallying around Davis case, the results of the Gallup poll show that 61 percent of Americans support ...

Boehner Urges Obama to Hold Iran Accountable for Assassination Plot Post Date: 2011-10-12 14:12:14 by Brian S

In the wake of a disrupted Iranian plot to assassinate a top Saudi diplomat that top House Republicans are calling an act of war, House Speaker John Boehner says that the Obama administration should respond by holding the Iranian governments feet to the fire, although he declined to outline specific steps. This plot is a very serious breach of international behavior and I would hope that our administration would hold the Iranian government, and hold their feet to the fire over the actions that have been alleged in this complaint, Boehner, R-Ohio, said. I dont think I need to be specific in terms of what the administration could or ...

TOPEKA, Kan. Suspects in Topeka domestic violence cases are leaving jail without being charged, and advocates for abuse survivors say victims are growing more scared amid a public squabble over who should pay to prosecute the crimes. The mayor and council of Kansas capital city made a dramatic move Tuesday night in their ongoing clash with county officials by voting to repeal the citys ordinance against domestic violence. The intent is to force the countys district attorney to back away from a budget-driven decision to stop prosecuting misdemeanors committed inside the city limits including domestic assault and battery not involving a weapon. Advocates ...

The dynamics of political party connections, the political process itself and public perceptions have once again yielded the top two contenders of each major party in the 2008 presidential race. And once again, the public can only hope that the ultimate winner of the White House will be a candidate with the most leadership substance. My vote is for Mitt Romney. History is important, but the future is more important. The success of this country in the future will be shaped by the leadership abilities of the next president. Our success will not be based on pandering to uninformed voters, promising emotional quick fixes over common sense or nitpicking of opponents' past records. Success ...
Ron Paul: Who Else is on Obama’s Secret Kill List? Post Date: 2011-10-11 23:24:23 by A K A Stone

According to the Fifth Amendment of the US Constitution, Americans are never to be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law. The Constitution is not some aspirational statement of values, allowing exceptions when convenient, but rather, it is the law of the land. It is the basis of our Republic and our principal bulwark against tyranny. Last weeks assassination of two American citizens, Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan, is an outrage and a criminal act carried out by the President and his administration. If the law protecting us against government-sanctioned assassination can be voided when there is a really bad American, is there any meaning ...

The Supreme Court cleared the way Tuesday for convicted Philadelphia cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal to have a new jury decide whether he should be resentenced to death or to life in prison. The high court left in place rulings that set aside Abu-Jamals death sentence in a case that has drawn international attention since the 1980s. The Philadelphia district attorney had asked the court to restore the death sentence handed Abu-Jamal for the 1981 shooting of Officer Daniel Faulkner on a Philadelphia street. Abu-Jamal, a former radio reporter, was convicted of first-degree murder for the shooting and his conviction still stands. After Faulkner stopped a car driven by Abu-Jamals ...

WASHINGTON(EON: Enhanced Online News)The National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) today criticized California Governor Jerry Brown for bowing to pressure from the pharmaceutical and medical trade lobby and signing a controversial bill (AB499) into law that allows 12 year old children to be vaccinated without the knowledge or consent of their parents. The new California law allows minor children as young as 12 years old to be given Gardasil and hepatitis B vaccine, as well as future vaccines for sexually transmitted diseases, without the informed consent of their parents. Brooklyn Signs Ask Jewish Women To Step Aside For Men Post Date: 2011-10-11 19:24:46 by Brian S

NEW YORK (JTA) -- Yiddish signs briefly sprouted on Brooklyn trees asking Jewish women to step aside when a man walks down the sidewalk.
The plastic signs bolted to trees in the Brooklyn neighborhood of South Williamsburg read, in Yiddish, “Precious Jewish Daughters: Please move over to the side when you see a man cross,” the Brooklyn Paper reported last week.
Parks maintenance workers removed 16 of the signs last week because they were nailed to public-owned trees, a violation subject to a $150 fine.
Sources told the Brooklyn Paper that the signs were part of a campaign by a rabbinical group, the Central Rabbinical Congress, that has published other decrees, including one in June ...

ROHRABACHER: China undermining economic recovery and U.S. security Communist regime has erased 10 million U.S. jobs and stolen priceless intellectual property By Rep. Dana Rohrabacher With a fledgling economy the focus of the 2012 presidential campaign, there has been one glaring omission from the debate so far: the failure of our current trade policy, particularly with China. Trade policy affects national security by putting the safety of our people and their jobs at risk. Between 2000 and 2010, the United States ran an aggregate trade deficit in goods of $6.8 trillion. This is one measure of how much money went to support production and job creation overseas rather than here at home. ...

California Gov. Jerry Brown is vetoing legislation requiring police to obtain a court warrant to search the mobile phones of suspects at the time of any arrest. The Sunday veto means that when police arrest anybody in the Golden State, they may search that persons mobile phone which in the digital age likely means the contents of persons e-mail, call records, text messages, photos, banking activity, cloud-storage services, and even where the phone has traveled. Police across the country are given wide latitude to search persons incident to an arrest based on the premise of officer safety. Now the nations states are beginning to grapple with the warrantless ...

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Hank Williams Jr. is about to have his say. Williams' has cut a new song, "Keep the Change," calling out "Fox & Friends" and ESPN after an interview last week on the Fox News talk show led to the end of his association with the sports network and "Monday Night Football," long home to his "Are you ready for some football?" theme. "I've been recording for five decades, and I knew that old over-the-fence feeling on this one," Williams said in an interview Monday afternoon. He's also scheduled to appear on "The View" and "Hannity" on Tuesday to discuss the uproar that sprung up ...

If I were to speechify to a conclave of Tea Partyers, America is the free-est...the most democratic...the best educated and most dynamic country the world has ever known, an example to all mankind, the assembled would hoot and hooroar and applaud in dizzy exaltation. Here is the soul of the American approach to existence, bottomless self-admiration devoid of knowledge or curiosity, wrapped like a psychic burrito in the patriotism of overwrought middle-schoolers. And there are many, many of them. We face rule by pajama party. Saints preserve us, someone with the foregoing understanding may become the president of the (for a few moments more) most powerful, erratic, and ignorant ...
Who is paying the bills for the Wall Street protesters? Post Date: 2011-10-10 14:56:48 by continental op

I remember an article I read over at amren once, talking about the Selma protests. As it turns out, many of the protesters were getting paid for it with money, others were paid in food, still others in pussy. Which brings us to the current protests in New York. Theres no way I or most Americans could travel to New York, eat,and live on the street without someone paying for it, even if that someone was me. Most of us dont have 8 hours a day to protest we have jobs, school, family, life, etc. In human events, there are no coincidences. Connecting the dots then, it seems reasonable that someone other than the protesters themselves is subsidizing these movements. ...

On Saturday, I attended the Occupy Los Angeles protest. They say that you gain 10 pounds on television. Things tend to look bigger on television than they sometimes are in reality. The same must be true for protest movements. I was expecting to see thousands of people. I didnt want to bring any personal property that might get damaged. So, I rode a bus. I figured with such a big protest, Id just ride into downtown and get off when I saw groups of communists roaming around. There are no White people in downtown Los Angeles. It is like a Mexican city. So, I figured Id just look for a White person and follow him to the rally. Well, no luck. So, I just rode to ...

The life of western man has never been so antipodal. He has conquered war, famine, and disease through perseverance, wisdom and creativity. He has created the industrial world, which has propelled all of humanity forward to an era of unprecedented prosperity. Yet despite these heroic accomplishments, he is slandered at every attempt in polite society, vilified as an inherent evil, and blamed for his very nature. Furthermore, his detractors are quite often accomplished members of his own circle. How does one explain this dichotomy in the perception of males? Quite simply: western society has become infantile. Children are often characterized by their inability to accept responsibility for ...
