Businessman Herman Cain is losing ground in a hypothetical Election 2012 matchup against President Obama. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters finds Obama earning 48% support to Cain’s 37%. The national survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on November 7-8, 2011 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. While filming a police at Occupy Oakland after midnight on Nov. 3 following the Nov. 2 general strike, an officer opens fire and shoots me with a rubber bullet. I was standing well back. The wealth gap between younger and older Americans has stretched to the widest on record, worsened by a prolonged economic downturn that has wiped out job opportunities for young adults and saddled them with housing and college debt.
