Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich says young people need to shift more quickly from childhood to adulthood It's time to declare the end of adolescence. As a social institution, it's been a failure. The proof is all around us: 19% of eighth graders, 36% of tenth graders, and 47% of twelfth graders say they have used illegal drugs, according to a study by the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the University of Michigan. One of every four girls has a sexually transmitted disease, suggests a recent study for the Centers for Disease Control. A methamphetamine epidemic among the young is destroying lives, families, and communities. And American students are learning at a ...

“My ex-wife didn’t serve in Vietnam, I did. She wasn’t forced to killed people, I was. She wasn’t the one severely wounded, I was. She didn’t experience the pain I did. She doesn’t have the disfiguring scars I do. She doesn’t have to take the long list of medications I do, and she will probably out live me because of all of this. My ex-wife is not entitled to any of my combat related disability benefits. My veteran’s disability compensation belongs to me, and only me, and no one is going to take it from me,” said Scott Cameron of Duluth, Minnesota.
Scott Cameron is a Vietnam combat wounded disabled veteran. He is one of the 300,000 U.S. troops wounded during the Vietnam War. Now Cameron ...

"Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else. You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America," Rep. Allen West (R-FL) said at the Palm Beach County Republican Party Lincoln Day dinner. West represents the district in the U.S. Congress.

Todd Carlson is school district superintendent at Shawano School District. A student recently wrote an article about homosexuals and why it is a bad idea to have them around kids.
Todd Carlson ridiculed the kids religious beliefs and called it bullying. Todd Carlson has no business being a school superintendent. He has sided with the pervert faggots against a normal healthy school boy.
He should be run out of office. Please give them a call and let them know that superintendents that embrace homosexuals have no place in public life.

Ronald Reagan’s eldest son Mike Reagan has issued a statement lambasting Mitt Romney and his supporters for claims that Romney’s Republican presidential rival Newt Gingrich was a strong critic of President Reagan.
Reagan says such claims are false.
Even Rush Limbaugh, shocked by the Romney claims, chimed on his Thursday radio broadcast to say "This is obviously a coordinated attack to take Newt out here in Florida."
Rush slammed the Romney-backed smear campaign against Newt.
“That kind of stuff is why people hate Romney so much," Limbaugh said.
Limbaugh added that Newt has always been a conservative from his early days in national talk radio in the 1980s.
“He was perhaps ...

Mitt Romney delivered a new zinger against Newt Gingrich in an event in Orlando just now, mocking him over his complaints about this week's debates. "I had fun last night, I gotta tell you," Romney said. "Now Speaker Gingrich said after the debate before last night that the crowd wasnt allowed to cheer so he couldn't do so well because the crowd was too quiet. "Then last night he said the crowd was too loud, he couldn't deal with it. It's like Goldilocks, you know - the porridge is too hot, the porridge is too cold. Look, I'm looking forward to debating Barack Obama. I don't worry too much about the crowd. I've got to make sure we tell the ...

We had some rather disturbing news come out today. It was learned that a citizen of the United States was held captive for 2 years in solitaire confinement. What is disturbing about this is that the individual did not even get a trial. He was just thrown into a cell to rot. Keep this in mind when you are reading this. These actions occurred well before the National Defense Authorization Act was even passed. Imagine what types of tyrannical events are taking place in our society today. This story comes out of Dona Ana County New Mexico. Reports coming in about this incident are very sketchy. In most of the news wires regarding this situation, there is no mention of criminal charges. This ...

ACTA ‘Is More Dangerous Than SOPA’ Post Date: 2012-01-27 10:20:15 by A K A Stone

SOPA and PIPA are stalled (or dead) in the halls of the U.S. Congress. Yet, there may be a bigger, perhaps more dangerous threat to Internet freedoms on the way, called the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, or ACTA. At least thats how U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, R. Calif., sees it, telling an audience, As a member of Congress, its more dangerous than SOPA. Its not coming to me for a vote. It purports that it does not change existing laws. But once implemented, it creates a whole new enforcement system and will virtually tie the hands of Congress to undo it. The stunning declaration came during what was actually an upbeat panel discussion at the World ...
Did Steve Jobs Give Me That Crick In My Neck? Post Date: 2012-01-25 21:48:51 by A K A Stone

Users of tablet computers should place their device on the table and tilt its screen, rather than have it flat on their lap, to avoid potentially painful hunching of the neck, a study suggested Wednesday. "Tablet users may be at high risk to develop neck discomfort based on current behaviours and tablet designs," it warned. A team led by environmental health researcher Jack Dennerlein of the Harvard School of Public Health asked seven men and eight women who were experienced tablet users to carry out tasks on an iPad2 and a Motorola Xoom. Using a motion-analysis system, the team filmed the 15 volunteers as they worked on the tablet in four common configurations. In the first ...
US Officials Say Army Plans To Slash The Number Of Combat Brigades Post Date: 2012-01-25 13:26:37 by Brian S

U.S. officials say the Army plans to slash the number of combat brigades from 45 to as low as 32, and broadly restructure its fighting force to save money and cut the size of the service by about 80,000 soldiers. Officials say the sweeping changes will likely increase the size of each combat brigade generally by adding another battalion. Doing that would ensure the brigades have the capabilities they need to go to war. A brigade is usually about 3,500 soldiers and a battalion is between 600 and 800 soldiers. The cuts come as the Pentagon finalizes its 2013 fiscal year budget, which must reflect about $260 billion in savings over five years. The officials spoke on condition of ...

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich responded to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, who said on Wednesday night on CNN's John King that Mr. Gingrich would never become President of the United States. "There is something I know. The Republicans, if they choose to nominate him that's their prerogative," said Congresswoman Pelosi. "I don't even think that's going to happen." Mr. Gingrich appeared on The Washington Times affiliated radio program "America's Morning News" and forcefully responded to Rep. Pelosi. "There's almost a level of hysteria about the prospect of somebody who really wants to change ...
