Late last night, the mysterious group of hackers known as Anonymous successfully hacked the main database for the Internal Revenue Service. The group appeared to have a singular target- Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney. Romney has been criticized by both parties for his failure to produce more than one past tax return. According to Ann Romney on ABCs Good Morning America they had no intention of ever disclosing the contents on those returns: Weve given all you people need to know and understand about our financial situation and how we live our life. Anonymous however, seems to have thought that we the people might want to know a ...

Thiessen: For The Past Ten Years Harry Reid Has Been Beating His Wife Thursday afternoon on Fox News America Live, Megyn Kellys panel debated Senate Majority Leader Harry Reids un-sourced allegations that Republican candidate Mitt Romney did not pay taxes for ten years. Former Bush speechwriter Marc Thiessen likened Sen. Reids allegations to the age-old beating your wife logical trap, while former Democratic staffer Julie Roginsky defended the allegations as a politically brilliant move. In response to Reid taking to the Senate floor to declare that the word is out that Romney avoided taxation for ten years, Thiessen ...

Abortionist Ashutosh Ron Virmani kills children at A Preferred Womens Health Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. On July 26 pro-life activists paid a visit to Virmanis home asking him to repent. The rant that followed was shocking, revealing at least in part what motivates Virmani: overt racism culminating with his accusation, Why dont you adopt those ugly black babies?

WASHINGTON The western US state of Oregon has a 40 percent chance in the next half-century of suffering a massive earthquake on the scale of Japans 2011 disaster, a study said Wednesday. The Pacific Northwest from the Oregon-California border to Vancouver Island in Canada has endured 19 huge earthquakes of around 8.7-9.2 magnitude over the past 10,000 years, Oregon State University researchers said. An additional 22 major earthquakes have impacted only the southern part of the so-called Cascadia fault that runs from the Oregon areas of Coos Bay to Newport, the study said. The southern margin of Cascadia has a much higher recurrence level for major ...

Extreme and exceptional drought, the two worst categories on a four-step scale, increased to 22.3 percent of the region in the week ended July 31, up from 20.6 percent, and expanded to 18.6 percent of the U.S. as a whole, up from 17.2 percent in the previous period, said the Drought Monitor in Lincoln, Nebraska. BILL TO CUT SENATE CONFIRMATION GETS FINAL ACTION Post Date: 2012-08-01 15:16:27 by rowdee

WASHINGTON (AP) - The House gave final congressional approval Tuesday to a bill that would save the slow-paced Senate some time by eliminating the need for confirming nominees to some 170 executive branch jobs and 3,000 military officer positions. The vote for this rare instance of streamlining Senate procedures was 261-116. The bill goes to the White House for President Barack Obama's signature. The bill also establishes a five-year term for the nation's census director, to ensure that the position is separated from politics and the election-year calendar. In 2010, there was no director in place for that year's census until months before the count started. In 1990, it was one ...
HOUSE BILL: FIRE US WORKERS WHO ARE TAX DEADBEATS Post Date: 2012-08-01 15:01:16 by rowdee

WASHINGTON (AP) - A bill to fire federal workers who are tax deadbeats passed the House on Tuesday in an attempt to confront a problem that showed little improvement in the past decade. The bill is aimed at U.S. government workers who are seriously delinquent in their federal taxes, but would exempt those trying to work out their problems with the IRS. The vote was 263-116 to send the bill to the Senate where its fate was uncertain. Chief sponsor Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, said there were 102,794 federal employees who were delinquent with their federal taxes 2004 and only a slight drop to 98,291 in 2010 - including some 700 congressional employees. The cost to taxpayers rose from just ...
SHRIMPERS BATTLING OVER TURTLE RULES Post Date: 2012-08-01 14:51:20 by rowdee

LAFITTE, La. (AP) - Efforts to protect endangered sea turtles in the Gulf of Mexico have prompted strenuous complaints from the dwindling fleet of shrimpers blamed for drowning them in their nets, who say their own livelihoods are threatened. By next March the federal government wants about 2,435 shrimp boats - most run by mom-and-pop operations - to install turtle-saving gear in their nets to protect the Kemp's ridley turtle, whose survival has gained renewed concern after BP's catastrophic 2010 Gulf oil spill. The spill prompted closer study of turtle deaths, though scientists have concluded that most were due to drowning, most likely in nets, and not effects of the oil spill. ...

Florida Man Charged With Hate Crime Says He ‘Only Shot A N*gger’ Post Date: 2012-07-31 15:31:09 by Brian S

Authorities in Port St. Joe, Florida say a man charged with a hate crime felt inconvenienced by his arrest because he had only shot a n*gger. Walton Henry Butler, 59, was arrested by Gulf County Sheriffs deputies on Monday night for shooting 32-year-old Everett Gant, who is black, in the head with a .22 caliber rifle. According to a charging affidavit obtained by The Star, Butler had referred to Pamela Rogers child and other children at his apartment complex with racial slurs. Gant was shot between the eyes when he went to Butlers apartment to confront him over the remarks, the documents said. Butler allegedly closed his sliding glass door and left Gant ...
Bloomberg pushes new moms to breastfeed, hides the formula Post Date: 2012-07-31 13:13:15 by SJN

New Yorks Mayor Michael Bloomberg is locking up the baby formula, because he wants newborns to drink breast milk instead. Hes using his mayoral power to direct maternity-ward nurses to hide baby-milk formula after Sept. 2 so that new moms feel pressured to provide breast milk to their newborns. Bloombergs mammary-mandate is supported by white-coated public-health officials, who say the scientific data shows that mothers milk aids infants digestive systems and shields them from some diseases. His wishes are law because he controls much of the citys health network in a city-wide version of Obamacare. But Bloombergs lactate-dictate is likely to get ...
Corn Hits All-Time High; Heat Proves Relentless Post Date: 2012-07-30 15:59:56 by Brian S

Corn prices raced to a record high Monday as the hot, dry summer relentlessly pounded crops across much of the country. Corn for September delivery gained 21.5 cents, or 2.7 percent, to end at $8.20 per bushel, which was an all-time high. December corn rose 20.75 cents, or 2.6 percent, to end at $8.14 per bushel. Soybeans rose 2.6 percent. Expectations are mounting that harvests will be smaller than anticipated for both crops because of the drought, which covers some two-thirds of the continental U.S. There is little rain in forecasts for August. Corn fields, particularly east of the Mississippi River, have been hit the hardest. Some farmers are harvesting what they can salvage to sell ...

U.S. Murders: All 13,636; Hands and Feet 801; Assault Rifles: less than 348 It is often said that guns, particularly assault rifles, are designed for one thing, and one thing only: to kill lots of people. Assault rifles in the United States are failing miserably in this purpose. There are tens of millions of assault rifles in America. Because the definition of an assault rifle has been rather fuzzy, the number can be said to be anywhere from 10 million to 30 million. Of those, the AR-15 type is fairly common with numbers between 5 and 10 million. The FBI murder statistics do not differentiate between types of rifles. There are about 100 million rifles in the United States. In 2009, the ...

The DHS submitted a rushed solicitation to the Federal Business Opportunities site on Wednesday, which is a portal for Federal government procurement requisitions over $25,000. The request gave the potential suppliers only one day to submit their proposals and a 15-day delivery requirement to Alexandria, Virginia. As the brief explains, the objective of this effort is to procure riot gear to prepare for the 2012 Democratic and Republican ...
Scalia: Guns May be Regulated Post Date: 2012-07-29 11:20:32 by A K A Stone

Justice Antonin Scalia, one of the Supreme Court's most vocal and conservative justices, said on Sunday that the Second Amendment leaves room for U.S. legislatures to regulate guns, including menacing hand-held weapons. "It will have to be decided in future cases," Scalia said on Fox News Sunday. But there were legal precedents from the days of the Founding Fathers that banned frightening weapons which a constitutional originalist like himself must recognize. There were also "locational limitations" on where weapons could be carried, the justice noted. When asked if that kind of precedent would apply to assault weapons, or 100-round ammunition magazines like those ...

Democrats Backpedal as China Readies $15.1 Billion Canadian Oil Deal Post Date: 2012-07-29 09:15:30 by A K A Stone

When President Barack Obama blocked the Keystone Pipeline, Republicans said the move would encourage Canada to pursue oil deals with China instead of the United States and cede a massive chunk of North American oil assets to the communist nation. Now, with China's state-run oil company CNOOC poised to cut a $15.1 billion deal--the largest ever foreign acquisition for a Chinese company--with Canadian oil company Nexen, Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) are in full backpedal mode. In a draft letter to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), Sen. Schumer writes: I respectfully urge you, in your capacity as chairman of the Committee on ...

Why Democrats Get the Black Vote July 26, 2012 BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: I just saw a story quickly. I scanned it because I didn't have a chance to print it out, but it's about people literally abandoning public schools. They're just leaving them. Enrollment in public schools nationwide -- I think the number I saw was down 10% and it's increasing. In big cities, which means that's inner city kids. We're not talking whites. Schools are decaying and Obama, the Democrats, are keeping those schools open in fealty to the teachers unions and for a whole bunch of other reasons. I have people ask me, and I've asked myself all the time, too, although I must say I ...

Seven Habits of a Government Sponge: Embrace Hoplessness! By Doug Giles / 23 July 2012 / 3 Comments One great way to take the sizzle off your fajita is to cuddle despair. Im talking about getting so gloomy that you make Eeyore, Vincent Van Gogh, Jackson Pollock and Sylvia Plath look like Taylor Swift compared to you. Think about it. The bulk of the hapless people you have met in life were hopeless, right? Thus, to carve out a crappy crevice for your life you must stop thinking and believing that good will ever, ever come your way. Yes, hope is dangerous to your desires for failure. Reminisce a little bit regarding the people who have made it and youll remember how ...

A representative of Barack Obamas Department of Justice has refused over and over to answer a question from a member of Congress about the agencys dedication to freedom of speech. It was during this weeks hearing by the House Constitution subcommittee, headed by Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., where Tom Perez, of the DOJs civil rights office, repeatedly wouldnt respond to Franks question. In fact, Franks repeated the question four times: Will you tell us here today simply that this ...
