A Gwinnett County man was arrested Thursday and charged with murder after 3-year child. Police arrested Rodney Hamilton. Investigators said that the little girl, 3-year- old Tamaya Hamilton, was his niece. Police said that he recently adopted her, and she was living in Lawrenceville with the family. Police said that back in January he took this little girl to Gwinnett Medical Center who flew her out to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta where she ultimately died.
