Sarah Palin would like to be energy secretary — but not for long Post Date: 2015-09-06 15:17:42 by buckeroo

Sarah Palin thinks she would make a great secretary of the U.S. Energy Department because as a former governor of Alaska she knows a thing or two about "oil and gas and minerals." But she would not stay in the job for long if she were tapped to lead the agency by Donald Trump, who has said that he would "love" someone like Palin to serve in his administration if he is elected. "I think a lot about the Department of Energy, because energy is my baby," Palin said during an interview on CNN's "State of the Union" that aired Sunday. "And if I were head of that, I would get rid of it. And I would let the states start having more control over the ...

A Nation of Laws No More By: Erick Erickson (Diary) | September 3rd, 2015 at 11:20 PM | 65 When five largely unrepresentative and unaccountable people can decide to impose their moral values on a nation of 320 million, we really are not a nation of laws, but a nation of men. When clerks in Washington, D.C. can deny citizens access to guns, despite there being an individual, constitutional right, we really are not a nation of laws, but a nation of men. When Barack Obama can ignore court rulings and bypass Congress on a whim and be cheered for doing so, we really are not a nation of laws, but a nation of men. When mayors and other leaders can be cheered for ignoring the marriage laws of ...
Government Failed To Repair These Roads, So A Group Of Anarchists Did It Themselves Post Date: 2015-09-06 06:15:23 by Deckard

By John Vibes One of the main things that people usually bring up in defense of government is the idea that without the government there would not be any roads, or that the roads would somehow fall into disrepair. Well, it is not hard to tell these days that the infrastructure is falling apart, even with taxation at an all-time high. The government still isnt able to properly maintain roads and bridges. In one Michigan community, people took these matters into their own hands instead of sitting around and waiting for the failed government to do it. Residents of Hamtramck, Michigan, a community in the heart of Detroit, recently started an effort to fill in potholes and repair roads ...

Publishers Note: Please read Pauls brilliant post on Peak Obedience at his site. It dovetails nicely with the screed below. You can buy both of my books at Amazon. Just published the second volume on 24 August, the anniversary of the British burning down of the Offal Office, an appropriate date to launch on. -BB But this theory of our government is wholly different from the practical fact. The fact is that the government, like a highwayman, says to a man: Your money, or your life. And many, if not most, taxes are paid under the compulsion of that threat. The government does not, indeed, waylay a man in a lonely place, spring upon him from the road side, and, holding ...

Hillary Rodham Clinton and her family personally paid a State Department staffer to maintain the private e-mail server she used while heading the agency, according to an official from Clintons presidential campaign. The unusual arrangement helped Clinton retain personal control over the system that she used for her public and private duties and that has emerged as an issue for her campaign. But, according to the campaign official, it also ensured that taxpayer dollars were not spent on a private server that was shared by Clinton, her husband and their daughter as well as aides to the former president. That State Department staffer, Bryan Pagliano, told a congressional committee this ...

A Kent County jury took less than five hours to find 13-year-old Jamarion Lawhorn guilty of first-degree murder, making him the youngest person ever convicted of murder in Kent County. Moments later, in a hallway outside the courtroom, the grandmother of victim Connor Verkerke, who was only 9 when he was stabbed on a Kentwood playground, embraced Jamarions mom and wept. Well try to make sure he gets some help, and make sure hes taken care of, Toni Nunemaker told Anita Lawhorn. As the verdict was read, Connors mom, Dani Verkerke, leaned on a friend and wept.Jamarion, who was 12 at the time of the murder, showed no emotion. The defense had pushed for a ...

Brandee Porterfield doesnt think her daughter should be assigned to write Allah is the only god; Mohammad is his prophet as a school assignment. To me, a Christian child should not be made to write that, Porterfield, mother of a seventh grader at Spring Hill Middle School, told the Columbia Daily News. She also takes offense to what she said is a three week focus on Islam in her daughters history course, especially since the class skipped past a chapter on Christianity the predominant religion in Tennessee. I have a big problem with that, Porterfield said. From a historical point of view, thats a lot of history these kids ...

Washington (CNN)Rick Perry is not "getting out of the race" as Donald Trump suggested Thursday during a news conference. "You know a broken clock is right once a day," Perry said. "The bottom line is I'm still here, I'm still workin'. We need to be talking about solutions and not just rhetoric out there." The former Texas governor quickly shot down Trump's claim during an interview Thursday with Fox News that immediately followed a Trump press conference. The GOP front-runner claimed Perry, whose campaign is struggling, is dropping out of the race. "One of the things that I'm most honored about is that so far everybody who's ...

WASHINGTON Hillary Rodham Clinton says her use of a private email system at the State Department wasn't the "best choice" and acknowledged she didn't "stop and think" about her email set-up when she became President Barack Obama's secretary of state in 2009. The Democratic presidential front-runner said in an interview with NBC News that she was immediately confronted by a number of global hotspots after joining the new Obama administration as its top diplomat and didn't think much about her email after arriving at her new job. "You know, I was not thinking a lot when I got in. There was so much work to be done. We had so many problems ...

Crisis actors called to dutyBy Shepard Ambellas VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia (INTELLIHUB) After the Sandy Hook School Shooting and the Boston Bombing took to center stage in the press well-researched investigative journalists along with portions of the general public who did their due diligence began to realize that crisis actors or role-players were being used by the mainline press to trick the sheeple. In fact, the main objectives of the psychological operations, both the Sandy Hook school shooting and the Boston Bombing, were to instill fear upon the citizenry, offering the Powers-That-Be a chance to capture that fear and turn it into control, thus paving the ...
Do Cops’ Lives Matter to Obama? Post Date: 2015-09-04 09:54:40 by nativist nationalist

Barack Obama, as chief law enforcement officer of the United States, is going to have to stop acting like a conscientious objector in this war on cops. Wednesday, another officer, in Fox Lake, Illinois, Lt. Charles GI Joe Gliniewicz, was gunned down. Last Friday, Darren Goforth, a Houston deputy sheriff, was shot 15 times by an alleged black racist. President Obama called the widow of Deputy Goforth, but he has yet to show the same indignation and outrage he exhibited at what happened to Trayvon Martin in Florida and Michael Brown in Ferguson. This year, 24 cops have been gunned down. And the day after deputy Goforths execution, Black Lives Matter! showed up ...

The establishment media has gone quiet on the Virginia shooting since evidence that it was a hoax has gone viral. Yet, their silence hasnt stopped the conspiracy research community from finding even more damning evidence that it was indeed an elaborate hoax. If this doesnt prove that the Virginian Shooting was a hoax than nothing will. YouTube researcher Peekay22 found a glaring mistake in the Virginia shooting production. He proves that each camera angle shows the actors doing different gestures during the precise moment the gun was fired. They are not merely two distinct camera angles. Rather, they are two separate instances altogether, indicating that the ...

As a manhunt continues for the killers of an Illinois police officer, certain media outlets are using it to contrive disinformation in the faux political debate of MSM. Yesterday, Fox News stated "a rise in shootings of law enforcement officers" when reporting on the manhunt. "War on police" is the new slogan, and no rhetoric is more theatrical than that of Sheriff David Clarke, who is making regular appearances on the infotainment channel. Fox News token friend is suggesting there is an epidemic of police killings spurred by Obama's war on police."I am too pissed off tonight to be diplomatic with what's going on, and I'm not going to ...
