So heres a vehement good riddance to the man who has single-handedly destroyed whatever pathetic semblance of fiscal responsibility that remained in Washington. The so-called bipartisan budget deal he confected as a parting gesture doesnt even deserve to be called a farce. Its actually just an extension of Washingtons ...

(Truthstream Media) It would seem that every time there is a mass shooting in this country, the shooter has either been taking psychotropic medications, usually in the form of antidepressants, or the shooter has recently quit taking antidepressants. It is well known that these medications can cause suicidal thoughts, especially in young people up to around age 24. If a medicine can cause suicidal thoughts, it would only follow that it can possibly cause violent or homicidal thoughts as well. A multitude of studies have linked antidepressants to everything from birth defects (including a very serious birth defect called persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn, causing the Food and ...

Comment start at or about the 2 min mark. I don't know what role the lord has for me in all this. I do know that looking at prophecy that the United States will play a big role. That there has to be a return first to a religions awakening and more then likely any persecution particularity of the Sabbath will come from the right not from the left and people will get a little get a little bit over zealous and then they will say see how much better things are now that we came back to god and we need to go completely back to him and we need to and you know they are going to go overboard.

Last week, I had the pleasure of speaking at the National Action Networks (NAN) 17th annual national convention in New York City. NAN is one of the leading civil-rights organizations in the United States. It was founded in 1991 by the Reverend Al Sharpton to promote a modern civil rights agenda that includes the fight for one standard of justice, decency and equal opportunities for all people regardless of race, religion, nationality or gender. The convention proved to be a great stage for productive dialogue and conversation through various panels. Some of the topics discussed included housing, health care, law enforcement, corporate finance, and education. I voiced my ...

Dr. Ben Carson, a pediatric neurosurgeon and author of six best-selling books, gave a talk about creationism vs. evolution and said he believes the theory Charles Darwin came up with was something that was encouraged by the adversary, Satan, the Devil. Interestingly enough, this [evolution theory] is a relatively modern science concept, said Dr. Carson at the conference Celebration of Creation. "Before Darwin came along, it wasnt. You know, scientists like Sir Isaac Newton considered one of the most scientific minds ever, inventor of calculus, so many things had a strong belief in God, big mission outreach, said Dr. ...

MIKE TYSON: Yeah, hell yeah! Big time. Why wouldn’t anybody like that? A guy that came from where he came from, doing what he’s doing in that field, and now this is where he’s at now. You know what that means? That doesn’t mean he’s a bad guy and the people don’t know what they’re doing, that means the people are tired of what you’re doing, what you’ve been doing the last 20 years. So let’s try something new! We tried Obama, right, time for a change. So we got to change. So now let's try something new. Let's run America like a business, where no ...

I dont know that hate is the right word, Rubio said in an interview. Im frustrated. This year, as Rubio runs for president, he has cast the Senate the very place that cemented him as a national politician as a place hes given up on, after less than one term. Its too slow. Too rule-bound. So Rubio, 44, has decided not to run for his seat again. Its the White House or bust. Thats why Im missing votes. Because I am leaving the Senate. I am not running for reelection, Rubio said in the last Republican debate, after Donald Trump had mocked him for his unusual number of absences during Senate ...

In 2016, there are 14 Republican presidential candidates for whom Ronald Reagan is both the benchmark for conservative values and the lodestar of conservative ideas. Theres also one who wrote, in the second to last year of Reagans presidency, that he had been so smooth, so effective a performer that only now, seven years later, are people beginning to question whether theres anything beneath that smile. The gadfly was Donald Trump, writing in his book The Art of the Deal. But it wasnt just a glancing blow; to promote the book, Trump launched a political campaign that tore into Reagans record, including his willingness to stand up to the ...
Map Showing Highest Paid Public Employee In Each State (Football You Bet!) Post Date: 2015-10-25 09:42:05 by no gnu taxes

You may have heard that the highest-paid employee in each state is usually the football coach at the largest state school. This is actually a gross mischaracterization: Sometimes it is the basketball coach. Based on data drawn from media reports and state salary databases, the ranks of the highest-paid active public employees include 27 football coaches, 13 basketball coaches, and 11 dorks who aren't even in charge of a team. So are my hard-earned tax dollars paying these coaches? Probably not. The bulk of this coaching moneyespecially at the big football schoolsis paid out of the revenue that the teams generate. So what's the problem then? These guys make tons of ...

Dystopian truth is stranger than dystopian fiction. In New York City, the police now maintain an unknown number of military-grade vans outfitted with X-ray radiation, enabling cops to look through the walls of buildings or the sides of trucks. The technology was used in Afghanistan before being loosed on U.S. streets. Each X-ray van costs an estimated $729,000 to $825,000. The NYPD will not reveal when, where, or how often they are used. I will not talk about anything at all about this, New York Police Commissioner Bill Bratton told a journalist for the New York Post who pressed for details on the vans. It falls into the range of security and counter-terrorism activity ...
Jeb Bush: More Conservative Than You Think Post Date: 2015-10-24 09:52:25 by no gnu taxes

Jeb Bush has lately been defending his brother George -- the former president -- against Donald Trump's criticism, and George is raising funds for Jeb's presidential campaign. What all this fraternal support obscures is the extent of the policy differences between the two. Despite his reputation for moderation, on issue after issue Jeb has taken positions that are significantly to the right of his brother's -- and of every other president in recent memory. Start with taxes. Like his brother in 2000, Jeb Bush is running at a time when the top statutory income-tax rate is 39.6 percent. George W. Bush proposed reducing that to 33 percent. Jeb wants to cut it to 28 percent. George ...
Florida Inmate wants Electric Chair instead of Lethal Injection Post Date: 2015-10-24 07:59:57 by Willie Green

Florida death row inmate Wayne Doty doesnt want to die by lethal injection. Instead, he wants to be put to death in an electric chair. Doty, 42, is the first inmate to ask for the chair, and in Florida, that is his right, the Miami Herald reported. For years, Florida used its infamous electric chair nicknamed Ol Sparky to carry out executions until a series of botched attempts in the 1990s. During a 1997 execution, the mask of prisoner Pedro Medina caught fire, and during the 1999 execution of Allen Lee Tiny Davis, blood appeared on the face and shirt of the convicted murderer. The Supreme Court stepped in after the second misstep and halted all ...

Manchester, NH Connor DeLeire, 18, was not breaking any laws, not causing anyone harm, and was on public property when he was approached by police, beaten, tasered, pepper sprayed and arrested. The reason police gave to the press for approaching DeLeire was that he was parked in a predictive hot spot. DeLeire was sitting in the drivers seat. Cataldo drove by the car and then circled the block to get a better look and determine if Deleire was there for ...
