NY Daily News: San Bernardino Victim Deserved It For Being Conservative Post Date: 2015-12-06 15:47:14 by buckeroo

A writer for the New York Daily News published a column Saturday night arguing that one of the San Bernardino shooting victims was just as bad as the killers by virtue of being outspoken about Islamic extremism on Facebook. Nicholas Thalasinos was one of 14 people murdered Wednesday by Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik at Inland Regional Center while attending a holiday party. According to Daily News writer Linda Stasi, arguments between Thalasinos and Farook (who were co-workers) over religion mean that Thalasinos shares equal blame for Wednesdays deaths, even though he murdered nobody. They were two hate-filled, bigoted municipal employees interacting in one ...

US can't access NSA phone records in California terror case Post Date: 2015-12-06 10:23:06 by Justified

WASHINGTON (AP) The U.S. government's ability to review and analyze five years' worth of telephone records for the married couple blamed in the deadly shootings in California lapsed just four days earlier when the National Security Agency's controversial mass surveillance program was formally shut down. Under a court order, those historical calling records at the NSA are now off-limits to agents running the FBI terrorism investigation even with a warrant. Instead, under the new USA Freedom Act, authorities were able to obtain roughly two years' worth of calling records directly from the phone companies of the married couple blamed in the attack. The period covered ...

One of Floridas biggest conservative Republican moneymen and a billionaire backer of Jeb Bush is so disgusted by Donald Trumps candidacy that if he has to, hell do the unthinkable: If I have a choice and you can put it in bold if I have a choice between Trump and Hillary Clinton, Im choosing Hillary, Miami healthcare magnate Mike Fernandez told the Miami Herald on Friday. Shes the lesser of two evils. Outraged by Trumps unimpeded ascent, Fernandez is taking on the GOP frontrunner himself. Minnesota, once a state drowning in debt, is now being forced to deal with a new problem: how to spend their projected $1.9 billion budget surplus. The extra $1.9 billion is likely to be allocated toward early childhood education and providing high-speed internet to Minnesota residents, according to the West Central Tribune. Governor Mark Dayton, of Minnesotas Democrat-Farm Labor Party, ran for office on a call to implement broadband internet border-to-border and has called for a $100 million infusion of funds, in conjunction with private investment, to build the initial infrastructure. San Bernardino Media Hoax: CNN, Media, ‘Victims Families’ All Ransack Suspects Family Home, Faux FBI Crime Scene Post Date: 2015-12-05 13:37:49 by Deckard

Today saw another new low-point in American broadcast journalism, as members of the media and public ransacked the shooting suspects family home in Redlands, California. On closer examination, however, what is on display here has very little to do with journalism, and everything to do with staged synthetic terror. It appears that both mainstream media and law enforcement are becoming increasingly desperate to sell an ever-more embellished and fantastic story line surrounding this latest alleged Mass Shooting event that were told took place on Wednesday in San Bernardino, California. Earlier, CNNs official terrorism analyst, Paul Cruickshank, ...

Recently, Dr. Ulfakatte went on public television stating that he was forced to publish the works of intelligence agents under his own name, also adding that noncompliance with these orders would result in him losing his job. He recently made an appearance on RT news to share these facts: Ive been a journalist for about 25 years, and I was educated to lie, to betray, and not to tell the truth to the public. But seeing right now within the last months how the German and American ...

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson on Friday blasted the vetting process that allowed San Bernardino shooter Tashfeen Malik to enter the United States, saying that if she was able to pass through the visa screening process it should end the debate on bringing Syrian refugees into the United States. We shouldnt even have to talk about this anymore," Carson said during a speech to the American Legislative Exchange Council. Carson qualified his statement by saying that "someone told me ...

On ISIS, Barack Obama Is Baghdad Bob Post Date: 2015-12-04 15:26:36 by no gnu taxes

ISIS is contained is the new American tanks are not in Baghdad of 2015. In the throes of a tight re-election campaign in October of 2012, President Barack Obama declared that al Qaeda was on the run. In one sense, he was right: al Qaeda was running into the arms of ISIS, which was running wild in the Middle East. But his intended implicationthat his policies had routed the terrorists, rendered them incapable of hurting Americans, and as a result made America safer from the threat of terrorist attackwas demonstrably false. In an interview with ABC News the day before deadly terrorist attacks in Paris which killed 130 people and injured ...

No matter what motivation these shooters had, we can say one thing for certainthey shouldnt have been able to do this, Clinton said in New Hampshire Thursday. The Maryland Drivers Alliance has uncovered evidence that the state's speed camera programs continue to be plagued by accuracy problems. Last year, Baltimore made national headlines when an audit revealed it had been mailing automated speeding tickets to parked automobiles and drivers who were obeying the speed limit. Now the city of College Park and its for-profit camera vendor Optotraffic have been caught accusing a motionless bus of speeding. The motorist rights group used a freedom of information act request to obtain copies of emails from city officials discussing erroneous photo citations. The heavily redacted documents describe a series of embarrassing errors. In October, for ...

Waunakee, WI November 23, 2015: When it comes to embracing transparency, no government enterprise fails more miserably than traffic enforcement. Police departments and municipalities resist disclosing the number of tickets they issue for fear of branding their communities as speed traps. And local courts routinely reduce speeding charges to non-moving violations to avoid sharing ticket revenue with the state. Left unchecked, so-called Policing for Profit can have disastrous consequences, as it did in Ferguson, Missouri, last year. Since its nearly impossible to find out how many speeding tickets are written in a given state, the National Motorists Association (NMA) ...

In New York City, though, zipping down the sidewalk on a hoverboard could get you in trouble. Someone caught riding a hoverboard in public could be subject to a $200 fine, the New York Daily News reported last week. An NYPD spokesman told Time magazine hoverboards are ...
