Historic Study on Benefits of Cannabis Proves That Those Who Keep it Illegal to Be Criminals Post Date: 2016-03-07 11:07:16 by Deckard

Last December we reported on a landmark study that made history at the annual meeting of the American Epilepsy Society. The study found that a cannabis extract called cannabidiol (CBD) has dramatically positive effects for children with seizures. Clinical trials are continuing to confirm that CBD is likely a far better treatment for epileptic seizures than any pharmaceutical product. This non-psychoactive ingredient of cannabis is proving to have many diverse medical benefits. The evidence is so compelling that even Deep South states are beginning to acknowledge the facts. There are hints that Louisiana may become the first in the region to legalize cannabis. Alabama took a brave step ...

Over the last few weeks, Reverend Graham has spoken out numerous times in defense of Donald Trump. Yesterday, he made a scathing post on Facebook to Mitt Romney. This is interesting for several reasons, but lets check out his post first. Said Rev. Graham, Im 63 years old and Ive never seen anything like this. This Republican presidential campaign has not only sunk to new lows, but the Republican establishment seems to be desperate to pick their own candidate. Some of you may not realize this, but the Reverend was all but out of politics until recently. He has been trying to ignore the GOP and even went so far as to completely leave the party last year. Now, ...

Offering anything but clarity, Republicans delivered a split verdict between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz in the latest round of presidential voting, offering fresh evidence of the turmoil still roiling the GOP after 19 states have had their say. Trump, still the front-runner in the delegate count, bagged Kentucky and Louisiana on Saturday. Cruz, cementing his claim to be the Trump alternative, captured Kansas and Maine. Trump said it was time for Marco Rubio to exit the race. But the Florida senator insisted he was still fixing to win his home state of Florida on March 15. Democrats also split their votes on Saturday, with Hillary Clinton picking up a victory in Louisiana's primary ...

MANKATO, Minn. (KMSP) - A passerby made an odd discovery at a Kwik Trip in Mankato, Minn. on Friday afternoon, and took a photo that proved sometimes things are indeed exactly as they seem. Marie Brace captured a photo of a semi smashed against a downed tree and parked car at the gas pump, a curious white Labrador Retriever peering out the drivers side window, and no one else in the cab. Mankato police confirmed what Marie suspected, the dog tossed it into gear while the actual driver was in a nearby store. The semi was parked across North River Drive, and when the driver left the car in idle unattended, the dog somehow knocked the shift and sailed across the street into a tree and ...

An Egyptian flight student who was arrested after he wrote on his Facebook page that he would be willing to serve a life sentence for killing Donald Trump agreed Friday to leave the United States by July. Immigration authorities will allow Emadeldin Elsayed, 23, to return home voluntarily instead of deporting him, as long as he departs by July 5. Elsayed has not been charged with a crime but had his visa revoked by the State Department and is being held at a Southern California jail. His lawyer, Hani Bushra, told Immigration Judge Kevin Riley in Los Angeles that he may seek another bond hearing for the aspiring pilot from Cairo because he believes Elsayed's detention is illegal. ...

Op-Ed by Brandon Turbeville Over the years in my own articles, I have used the terms creeping fascism, growing police state, and descent into totalitarianism among others to describe the domestic situation in which we find ourselves. I have often written that, if Americans do not stand up to the myriad of laws being passed by federal, state, and local governments we will soon wake up to find ourselves in an Orwellian police state nightmare. Now, however, I cringe whenever I read those words in contemporary articles. This is because such warnings are so far past their time they are utterly useless. In fact, they may do more to hurt any potential for change ...
