Her foster father was James Tom Hodgkinson, who is now infamous after shooting U.S. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, two police officers and a staffer on a Virginia ballfield Wednesday. The girls program is attended by some of best and brightest high-schoolers Florida has to offer. Everyone whos going is at the top of their class, Cameron Carlyle said describing the high-quality candidates who attend the elite leadership camp. Senate Bill: Travelers Must Register Cash and Digital Amounts Over $10K or Face 10 Years in Prison and Full Asset Seizure Post Date: 2017-06-18 11:55:03 by Deckard

By Claire Bernish A new bill seeks to track your money and assets incessantly, will enjoin any business with government ties to act as a de facto arm of DHS, and would steal all of your assets including Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies should you fail to report funds when traveling with over $10,000. Under the guise of combating money laundering, Senate Bill 1241, Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Counterfeiting Act of 2017, ramps up regulation of digital currency and imposes other autocratic financial controls in an attempt to ensure none of your assets can escape one of the States most nefarious, despised powers: civil asset forfeiture. ...
D&D Creator Gary Gygax's FBI Records Make Him Sound Like a Badass: "He is known to be a member of the Libertarian Party." Post Date: 2017-06-18 11:21:54 by Deckard

About a year ago I filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for the FBI's files on TSR, Inc., the company that originally published the iconic Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game. I received several dozen pages of records back on Wednesday, including a May 1995 FBI report that contained several paragraphs on Gary Gygax, the game's beloved creator. D&D may have been the summit of nerd culture in the '80s, but the FBI makes Gygax sound hardcore. An FBI source in the report alleges that Gygax was "eccentric and frightening," carried a weapon, proudly responded to every letter he received from an inmate, and had a Liberian holding company. It ...
My Hometown Is Gone (Refugees Take Over Utica) Post Date: 2017-06-18 11:13:59 by Deckard

Hi! This is a blog post I threw together in response to the recent increase in refugee numbers by Trumps State Department, in order to convey what it is like living in an Islamizing area. I gave a talk at a luncheon a few months ago that was basically relating my story of how my hometown has been Islamized by refugee resettlement. So it makes sense to do a blog post. Im from the Utica, NY area. Utica is the city nicknamed by the UN the city that loves refugees! Soon every American city will be a city that loves refugees! Get ready! So I would like to tell you what it is like living in an area where the major city is about 25% (or more) ...
How Alex Jones Blindsided Megyn Kelly Post Date: 2017-06-18 11:00:00 by Deckard

Megan Kelly got a promotion from Fox News to NBC because Donald Trump insulted her during an early Republican presidential debate. This promotion did not include an increase in wisdom. It merely gave her a larger audience for her to reveal her limitations. Her limitations are considerable. Her latest bonehead move was to interview Alex Jones. This got her in trouble with NBC, because nobody is supposed to interview Jones. That would give him some degree of credibility. The mainstream media do not want to consider him as anyone who deserves credibility. The mainstream media still believe that someone like Jones can get credibility only from the mainstream media. They still think it's ...

Suicide-text girlfriend conviction will have national ramifications Post Date: 2017-06-16 20:13:48 by cranky

Top Massachusetts attorneys have mixed opinions about the involuntary manslaughter conviction of Michelle Carter, but they agree on one thing the ruling has caused a seismic shift in the intersection of technology and the law. The decision will be shaping the way that future prosecutors handle these types of cases, said Boston-based criminal defense lawyer Joseph Simons. Michelle Carter, then 17, told her 18-year-old boyfriend Conrad Roy III to get back in his truck as it filled with carbon monoxide in 2014. Judge Lawrence Moniz found Friday that Carters instructions constituted wanton and reckless conduct. Judge Moniz may have set a ...

There Will Be More (The Government Is Violent) Post Date: 2017-06-16 08:56:02 by Deckard

Violence is, unfortunately, fungible. As this society becomes more and more officially violent, it is probable that unofficial violence will also increase. In fact, it is almost a mathematical axiom. It is also one not comprehended by those most responsible for initiating the process. Police and politicians seem baffled by the growing disenchantment with their class. They seem to expect people to behave toward them with respect and deference no matter what they do by dint of the fact that what they do is Official and Legal. Why are politicians left and right increasingly despised by reasonable people? Could it have anything to do with the fact that they will not ...
Freedom Comes to New Hampshire: State Repeals Regulations (And Criminal Penalties) For African-Style Hair Braiders Post Date: 2017-06-16 08:42:17 by Deckard

Regulators are getting out of entrepreneurs hairliterally. The past few weeks have seen states untangle hair care specialists from absurd licensing requirements. Earlier this month, New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu signed a bill to legalize natural or African-style hair braiding. The Granite State now joins Indiana and South Dakota, which both deregulated the trade in 2017. In Tennessee, lawmakers recently repealed the states license to shampoo hair. Incredibly, before these reforms were enacted, it was actually against the law to earn an honest living twisting or lathering hair without a government-issued license. Although they may sound like niche issues, those reforms ...

What an amazing press conference aside from all the questions remaining to be answered. Fred Warmbier spoke about his sons return back to the United States after being sentenced to 15 years of hard labor in North Korea for stealing a banner off the wall in the hotel he was staying. His name is Otto, and its been 18 months since his tearful cry for mercy that day he was sentenced and sent to prison. Information received upon learning of his release was that Otto has been in a coma for most of the time he has been serving his sentence in N. Korea. The cause of the coma is unclear as of yet, and North Korea is blaming a sleeping pill that he took, however his father is ...

Presumed dead after going missing June 8, Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Mechanical) 3rd Class Peter Mims reportedly hid himself in one of the engine rooms, according to two sources familiar with the situation. It is unclear how Mims survived a week in the engineering space or where he was hiding. He will be flown off Shiloh for evaluation soon. This Bill Would Protect Medical Marijuana Suppliers From Jeff Sessions' Whims Post Date: 2017-06-15 09:19:14 by Deckard

Today a bipartisan group of senators plans to introduce a new version of the CARERS Act, which aims to protect medical use of marijuana in the 29 states that allow it. Among other things, the bill would provide a more permanent shield from prosecution and forfeiture than the Rohrabacher/Farr amendment, the spending rider that bars the Justice Department from interfering with the implementation of state medical marijuana laws. As Mike Riggs noted on Tuesday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions sent congressional leaders a letter urging them not to include the rider, which has to be reapproved each fiscal year, in the DOJ appropriations bill enacted last month. After Congress rejected ...

The President previously issued an executive order directing the Department of the Interior to review several large National Monuments including Bears Ears to determine if they needed to be adjusted in size, transferred to the National Park system or eliminated. Secretary Ryan Zinke has completed an extensive review of Bears Ears and issued his initial recommendations. As expected, the massive Obama land grab may be in for a significant bit of trimming. (Route Fifty) Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke recommended in a report submitted to President Trump on Saturday that the roughly 1.3-million-acre Bears Ears National Monument, located in southeast Utah, should be downsized.
