White House refuses to push back on aggressive Kremlin spying How the Obama administration mishandled clandestine Russian interference in last years election has become the talk of the townand social mediathanks to a new, detailed report by The Washington Post. That piece portrays a White House in disarray through 2016, unable to decide what to do about Kremlin meddling, despite high-grade intelligence confirming Vladimir Putin ordered his spy services to create electoral mayhem in America. The 2014 movie Kill the Messenger is excellent in telling the true story of Gary Webb. He was an investigative reporter for the San Jose Mercury News. We need to understand that his reporting was accurate in connecting the CIA with the Contras and their drug operations. This is now official. Documents attesting to the facts can be read in The National Security Archive kept by the George Washington University. Despite Webbs accuracy, the campaign to discredit Webb led to his losing his job and an eventual suicide, according to Robert Parry. The following plot summary is here. Based on the true story of journalist Gary Webb, the film takes place in the mid-1990s. Webb ...
I know who the Texas killing field murderer is Post Date: 2017-06-27 02:04:42 by interpreter

I have already gone to the League City police with this information and they laughed at me. And I don't know where else to post this so here it is: What I know about October 7, 1983 (the night Hidi Villareal Fye disappeared) First, I would like to correct two incorrect statements in the book I just read about the Calder Road killing field (by Kathryn Casey). First, Hidis hair was not blonde (or curley) like the other victims, and the pay phone in front of the Plantation convenience store at Hobbs & 518 was NOT where Hidi disappeared from or made her last phone call from (as was the case with one of the other victims). The story begins six months before that when I got mad ...

'What world do you live in? Please step down,' actress Melanie Griffith tweeted. US President Donald Trump took to Twitter early Sunday morning to fire off a series of tweets touting the success of his "Make America Great Again" agenda "despite the distraction of the Witch Hunt." Trump has often called the ongoing investigation, led by FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election and ties between his campaign and Moscow, a "witch hunt"."Many new jobs, high business enthusiasm, massive regulation cuts, 36 new legislative bills signed, great new S.C. Federal OPT Program Rewards Companies For Hiring 330,000 Foreign College Grads in 2016 by Neil Munro 21 Jun 2017 The federal government quietly helped and rewarded companies and universities which hired roughly 330,000 cheap foreign graduates in 2016 instead of hiring American graduates, many of whom are deep in debt. The little-known Optional Practical Training program has grown from 91,140 new foreign job-seekers in 2009 to 329,158 new job-seekers in 2016, according to data provided by the Department of Homeland Security. That is almost a four-fold increase in seven years and the program is growing even larger in 2017. There is no cap on the OPT ...

Sally Schindel sits in front of a painting of her son Andrew Zorn, who took his own life after saying he became addicted to marijuana. She talked of his life and the problems marijuana cause for their family at her home in Prescott, Ariz. on April 4, 2017. (Photo: Patrick Breen for Yahoo News) Sally Schindel couldnt remember the last time shed stood in the rain so long. It was odd the heavy rain in the middle of the Arizona desert. Police had prohibited Schindel from going into the house where her son, Andy, lived, so she waited for hours in the driveway, alongside officers and a court-ordered psychiatrist, pleading with them to allow her to go inside and ensure ...

The study also found that stoners felt more alienated and like they were a burden to others. In 2017, warnings that smoking weed can kill you sound like ridiculous anti-drug propaganda. A new study, however, has taken a serious look into the link between heavy cannabis use and suicidal ideation. Researchers at Louisiana State University found that daily weed smokers reported having more suicidal thoughts than less frequent users. They also found that heavy smokers feel more alienated and more burdensome to others than people who smoke less often. The study surveyed 209 undergraduates who had used cannabis in the past month before the study took place. (A large number of the participants, ...

Marijuana-related suicide is a controversial topic because other websites include commenters who claim marijuana saved their lives. Pot interferes with the reward center of the brain, just like cocaine, alcohol and heroin. So when someone dependent on the drug doesnt have it, their depression or anxiety becomes stronger than previously. After prolonged use, the brain eventually doesnt function as well. For this reason, its much wiser to rely on yoga, counseling, walking, and other exercise for depression and anxiety. (Others will say that anti-depressants are safer, although we wont actually endorse them, and dont think theyre always necessary.) ...

DENVER (AP) A recent insurance study links increased car crash claims to legalized recreational marijuana. The Highway Loss Data Institute, a leading insurance research group, said in study results released Thursday that collision claims in Colorado, Washington, and Oregon went up 2.7 percent in the years since legal recreational marijuana sales began when compared with surrounding states. Legal recreational pot sales in Colorado began in January 2014, followed six months later in Washington, and in October 2015 in Oregon. WASHINGTON (Reuters) The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday narrowed the rights of property owners in disputes with governments and laid out a formula for determining when landowners are owed compensation in a case involving a vacant lot in Wisconsin on the picturesque St. Croix River. The court decided that government officials can combine separate parcels of private land in determining whether public officials have effectively taken private property through zoning laws and must pay compensation. The ruling could make it harder for property owners to prove compensation claims. The justices, in the 5-3 ruling written by conservative Justice Anthony Kennedy and joined by the ...
Health Care Debate Exposed as a Fraud, Dems and Reps Just United to do Big Pharma's Bidding Post Date: 2017-06-25 11:37:41 by Deckard

The circus sideshow of health care politics is providing yet another smokescreen for the real agenda of the corporate 2-party dictatorship. Contrary to the different visions for America portrayed by MSM talking heads, Democrats and Republicans vigorously agree on a fundamental principle: Big Pharma will continue to rake Americans over the coals, with the help of federal government. The health care debate has been portrayed as Republicans and Democrats valiantly fighting for the interest of American citizens. But as Ron Paul points out, the actual difference amounts to slightly different degrees of government control over health care, all of it stifling free market ...

Paul Craig Roberts In 1992 Fran and Dan Keller were convicted despite the absence of any evidence of raping a 3-year old, a crime that never occurred. Among the absurd charges was the transport of children to Mexico to be raped by military officials. The Kellers spent 21 years in prison before finally being exonerated by a conviction integrity unit that found no credible evidence for the conviction. This kind of ridiculous conviction plagued child care providers during the 1980s and into the 1990s. The Amirault family who operated the Fells Acres Day Care Center in Massachusetts were ruined. The Massachusetts supreme court judge who kept the Amiraults in prison despite the completely ...
How the Government Conditions Citizens to Obey Post Date: 2017-06-25 11:14:13 by Deckard

Can you count how many ways the government manipulates people to be the type of citizen they can easily control? I think that would be impossible to come up with an actual number when every facet of government is dedicated to shaping the citizen in ways contrary to his or her nature. It ranges from tax credits for having kids to increased welfare for being a single mom; from subsidies for growing corn to mandates to eradicate invasive species. The government is changing citizens behavior with incentives and disincentives, which destroys the natural spontaneous order society would otherwise fall into. The government has basically turned society into a pinball machine which bounces ...

DHS John Kelly: Islamic Terrorists Are Sincere, So Regulate the Internet Post Date: 2017-06-24 17:52:30 by Anthem

Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly acknowledged Thursday that sincere Islamic beliefs are fuelling deadly jihad attacks during Ramadan but he quickly hid that key recognition behind vague calls for Internet regulation and suggestions that Christian and Jewish beliefs are also causing terrorism. As far as Ramadan goes, you know, first of all, the uptick in violence and activities [during Ramadan is] done by a very, very small percentage of people who have just corrupted the whole concept of Islam as a religion, but it is what it is, Kelly told the chairman of the House homeland defense committee on June 22. He continued: We are in the middle of it, so they are ...

Pro-American immigration reformers are pushing back against the Department of Homeland Securitys decision to print more H-2B work permits so that more foreign contract workers can take more Americans jobs this fall and winter. DHS officials, in response, say they will begin a formal rule-making process which may allow the public to protest the giveaway of job opportunities. Undecided yet which path well take but we will follow the rule-making process and publish a notice in the Federal Register, said DHS spokesman David Lapan. NumbersUSA hopes that reports indicating that DHS Secretary Kelly will increase the number of H-2B visas for FY 2017 are ...
Why the Government Fails at Welfare Post Date: 2017-06-24 10:35:43 by Anthem

The leviathan created by the modern welfare state is one of the gravest threats facing the American republican system. Dangers levied by the continued use of the governments dole come both fiscally and socially. Fixes being floated from Congress to community organizations still lack a cohesive focus on reform in the mainstream public discourse. The federal welfare apparatus has bloomed into a disastrous menagerie of nearly one hundred programs. Representative Warren Davidson (OH8-R) has introduced legislation that will consolidate 92 of the programs in an attempt to minimize waste and redundancy. Davidson isnt alone in his calls for welfare reform. Other members of ...

A former nurse in Texas was charged Wednesday with the 1981 murder of a 2-year-old girl. Bexar County District Attorney Nico LaHood told ABC News Thursday that Genene Jones, 66, is suspected of killing as many as 60 children during her time as a nurse. "We looked at her work schedule and when these babies were passing and the increase in passing under her direct work schedule was astronomical," said LaHood. The district attorney's office said in a statement Wednesday that Jones had been indicted for the Sept. 16, 1981, murder of then 2-year-old Rosemary Vega. Last month, Jones was also charged with murder in a separate case for the Dec. 12, 1981, murder of then 11-month-old ...

Former Texas Congressman Ron Paul likes to joke that when he gets invited to speaking engagements in Washington, DC, audiences typically dont applaud. But at the Future of Freedom Foundation, Paul was right at home, delivering a speech entitled "Enemies: Foreign And Domestic" about how to apply the principles of non-interventionism in domestic and foreign policy. He spoke about how his stint in Congress made him more skeptical of government and wary of the deep states capacity for maliciousness, beginning with his early days in Washington. The over-criminalization of America has undermined justice, the rule of law and legal egalitarianism. While the corporate media devotes itself to sports, entertainment, dining out and the latest political kerfuffle, America has become the Over-Criminalization Capital of the World. The proliferation of laws and administrative regulations, federal, state and local, that carry criminal penalties has swollen into the tens of thousands. The number of incarcerated Americans exceeds 2.3 million, with the majority being non-violent offenders--often for War on Drugs offenses. Holly Harris has written an important summary of this profoundly destabilizing trend:The Prisoner Dilemma: Ending ...
