During a morning segment of MSNBC Live, the host made the false, patently absurd claim during a discussion on repealing the Second Amendment. Why do you need any assault rifles? An assault rifle is different than a gun. A hunting enthusiast and one who needs an assault rifle, those are two different things, said Ruhle. Of course, assault rifles are actually not different than guns they are guns. Additionally, prior to Ruhle going off script, she described the weapon used by the Texas church shooter as an assault-type rifle. The actual weapon ...

There have already been classes offered at colleges around the country relating to marijuana, including the legal issues surrounding legalization and how cannabis is portrayed in the media. Louisiana State University is even growing medical marijuana in a partnership with a private company. Thats all interesting, but no school has offered an entire degree program focused on the marijuana industry. Until now. Northern Michigan University, located in the state's remote Upper Peninsula, has launched a four-year program that allows students to graduate with a degree in Medical Plant Chemistry. The focus is not only on learning the biology and chemistry of marijuana, but also on ...

Marijuana devastated Colorado, don’t legalize it nationally Post Date: 2017-11-06 14:47:07 by Gatlin

Last week, Senator Cory Booker introduced the Marijuana Justice Act in an effort to legalize marijuana across the nation and penalize local communities that want nothing to do with this dangerous drug. This is the furthest reaching marijuana legalization effort to date and marks another sad moment in our nations embrace of a drug that will have generational consequences. Our country is facing a drug epidemic. Legalizing recreational marijuana will do nothing that Senator Booker expects. We heard many of these same promises in 2012 when Colorado legalized recreational marijuana. In the years since, Colorado has seen an increase in marijuana related traffic deaths, poison control ...

"Shout 'Allahu Akbar,' because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers." Who knew hijacker Mohammed Atta's parting words, discovered in his journal after the 9/11 attacks, would become a national punchline? The louder and more frequently jihadists around the globe shriek their signature battle cry, the more fervently multicultural apologists deny its meaning. They've transformed the Islamic supremacists' obvious and explicit call for violence into a bland utterance of peace as indiscernible and nonsensical as "Aloha Snackbar." With blood still fresh on the pavement in Manhattan after Tuesday's outbreak of Allahu Akbar-itis that took ...

By Justin Gardner I would look outside my window just scared to death I would see a police officer and CPS here to take my kid. Its a nightmare made entirely by the State. A little girl would be snatched away from caring parents for doing nothing more than healing their daughters debilitating condition with a plant extract. Even though medical cannabidiol (CBD) is now legal in Indiana, Child Protective Services (CPS) was going to take 20-month-old Jaelah Jergerbecause her parents chose to use legal CBD oil instead of a harmful pharma drug. Fortunately, and ironically, this assault was stopped in the nick of time by an Indiana state legislator. Jaelah suffered ...

U.S. Sen. Rand Paul was recovering Sunday from five broken ribs after he was assaulted by a neighbor who tackled him from behind at the senators Kentucky home, officials said. New findings from a law enforcement reform group demonstrate that although Mayor Bill de Blasio claims to have ended marijuana sanctions, the NYPD continues to target individuals who have the drug on them. In a report released this week by the Police Reform Organizing Project, the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services determined that police are still arresting people for marijuana possession. In the first nine months of 2017, there have been more than 13,500 arrests, totaling 50 arrests a day. While virtually all the numbers demonstrate that NYPD arrest practices are marked by waste and racial bias, the statistics that stand out for us involve arrests for misdemeanor marijuana ...
