There were only four of them. A group of North Carolina pro-life activists are suing the city of Greensboro, North Carolina for arresting them as they prayed outside an abortion center in the city. The activists, who belonged to the group Love Life, were arrested in accordance with the citys coronavirus and social distancing guidelines for the Chinese coronavirus. The activists were arrested last week for violating stay at home orders. Merely four of them- no great crowd in which coronavirus would be likely present- were praying outside an abortion center called A Womans choice. The Greensboro Police tried repeatedly to get the activists to leave the scene ...

The world needs more people like this! John Vibes (TMU) A record 6.6 million Americans filed for unemployment last week, which is double the record-breaking number seen the week before. While some steps have been taken to help mitigate the economic hardships related to the pandemic, such as the recent stimulus package that was passed by the U.S. government, many critics feel that the bill was insufficient for low wage workers. The unprecedented shut down of the economy has deepened the poverty crisis in the country, and local food banks have seen an overwhelming increase in demand as people begin to worry about where their next meals are going to come from. NY Coronavirus: 'We Could Be On The Plateau' Post Date: 2020-04-06 02:25:54 by Gatlin

NY Coronavirus: 'We Could Be On The Plateau' NEW YORK Downstate New York could be at or very near the apex of its new coronavirus outbreak, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said at his Sunday news briefing. "The apex could be a plateau and we could be on the plateau right now," he said. "The next few days will tell." Evidence that the outbreak may have peaked: the number of people released from the hospital has been rising, and in particular the total number of new hospitalizations is much lower. ICU admissions are also down. But it will take more than a couple of days of numbers to accurately depict a trend, he said. With more than 300,000 people tested in New ...
"Pandemic Drones" Can Now Detect Fever and Coughing Post Date: 2020-04-05 14:13:09 by Deckard

The COVID-19 outbreak is proving to be the Trojan horse that justifies the ushering in of the surveillance state. We've noted how governments and corporations are quickly deploying big data and spy tools to monitor people during the pandemic. The war on terror, the war on drugs, the war on illegal immigration, and now the war on COVID-19: all start out as legitimate responses but then are used by politicians to increase the surveillance state and erode any freedoms citizens have left. What's coming to America in the not too distant future is a full-blown surveillance state, that could be on par with China's. In particular, we want to show ...

Partygoers at a Pink Floyd tribute night have been scolded for shouting abuse at New Jersey police after defying social distancing rules brought in to contain the coronavirus pandemic. Around 30 people gathered to watch an acoustic rendition of the British rock bands greatest hits on the front lawn of a home in Rumson, a seaside community south of New York City, that was also broadcast live over social media. These seem to be good times for Bill Gates, otherwise known as The Geek. Two weeks ago, Gates himself took to Reddit for an Ask Me Anything online town hall on the coronavirus pandemic. One of the key takeaways followed National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci, who said that mass production of a vaccine would likely not occur for another 12 to 18 months. Gates concurred, saying that lots of manufacturing will need to be built to provide billions of vaccines to protect the world. In tandem with billions of vaccines is a digital embed certificate called ID2020; or more snarkily, The Mark of the Geek. In other words, a ...
Less Driving Amid Outbreak is Hurting Red Light Camera Revenue — Which is Great Post Date: 2020-04-05 06:49:03 by Deckard

Since states began locking down in mid-March, unemployment has skyrocketed, businesses have shuttered their doors, and these uncertain times have grown more worrisome by the day. There is one industry that is hurting, however, that shouldnt bother many of us and that is the Red Light Camera industry. Anyone whose been self-quarantining over the last few weeks likely knows that their trips to the gas station have been minimal simply because they are driving less. When people drive less, predatory and unconstitutional Red Light Camera companies like Redflex who stalk unwitting drivers on the roads make less money. This is a good thing. As Business Insider points out, ...

The problem with making informed decisions about coronavirus is that we dont have a whole lot of data on it at the moment. The data that we do have, meanwhile, could end up being terminally skewed, particularly the data thats been coming out of China. The Centers for Disease Control and Preventions guidance on determining COVID-19 as a cause of death isnt going to help those numbers.Issued March 24, the guidance tells hospitals to list COVID-19 as a cause of death regardless of whether or not theres actual testing to confirm thats the case.Instead, even if the coronavirus was just a contributing factor or if its assumed to ...

County health officials have put Bethany Slavic Missionary church, a Pentecostal house of worship in a suburb of Sacramento, at the heart of one of the largest outbreak clusters in the country. The church is reported to be the largest Slavic congregation in the US, with 3,500 members and a total attendance at some services of up to 10,000. The ...

A month ago, most Americans werent ready to accept the Green New Deal and a plethora of green taxes because they were told the climate was supposedly in crisis. A month later, many Americans seem willing to accept anything even including house arrest in perpetuity because of green phlegm. A nasty bug vs. a very nasty police state. Which do you prefer to risk? The possibility or the certainty? In Stalins Soviet Union, disagreeing with Stalin was pathologized as well as criminalized. You were sick if you questioned the regime. An enemy of the people. Today, people who question the assumption of ...

The average rate of domestic violence among most families in America is around 10%. As the National Center for Women and Policing points out, two studies have found that at least 40% of police officer families experience domestic violence. That is a four-fold increase. Though many police officers escape accountability for these acts of domestic violence, one officer with the Albuquerque Police Department, Jeffrey Wharton, 31, had beaten his girlfriend so badly, his fellow cops couldnt ...
