At least one person is deceased and another five missing in Allentown, Penn. A natural gas explosion rocked a community at 10:45 p.m. local time Wednesday, February 9. At least one full row of six houses was ruined, and another 16 houses were badly ruined. An explosion from gas in Allentown, Penn. I've noticed that a couple of my favorite posters are not posting here. Murron and White Sands. I think they think this place is going to leftist. I'm here to make sure that that ends if that is what has been going on. I am also here to clear the dialog and make sure you treat each other with respect. Don't threaten to exterminate anyones family. Don't threaten lawsuits on any members or you will be permabanned. The recent outages appear to have been caused by a bunch of automated hits on the server that overwhelmed it. The source seems to be a somewhat random list of IPs, so blocking those IP's would likely not do much good in preventing a repeat. The fix here is a modification on the software to disregard any requests for thread pages if a huge number of such requests come in a very short time (more than 10 in one second, for example) but such a modification will need to be added to my to-do list, so there may be more such outages in the near future. Until then all I can do is deal with them when they happen. This looks like a Denial of Service (DOS) attack but simple incompetence by some ...

Recently, the frothing mouth ditto sphincts were moaning about a clip of Obama in which they allege that Obama was wrong about the chronology of Mexico and America. IN an exchange with a caller named Jim, a self identified Cherokee, Limbaugh made the following observation about Native Americans:
