Dr Who is BACK!
Post Date: 2012-12-26 22:05:13 by sneakypete

The doctor is back, and his new companion is unbelievably gorgeous and immensely talented with a flair for comedy. I'm not ready to throw Amy Pond under the bus yet (she's a redhead)but the new companion is a lot hotter than Amy and I think her hair is dark red, too. The first episode of this season played a few months ago and it showed a lot of promise for this year, and the second episode that just aired backed that up. Lots of your favorite aliens are back, and one of them (the fireplug looking little General) is going to be a star of the show. He's hilarious, and he thinks a grenade or two is the answer to most problems. I'm sure BBCA will air the first two episodes in ...

Ok we have been going back and forth for a while cross forum. That is ok because Christine is afraid to have me over at her little Nazi lite site. Because when I used to post over there I would kick your little pathetic asses up and down the street. Why do you think the coward Christine banned me. It was because I called her site on being a site that hates Jews more then it loves America. Have you ever looked at her site. It is the Jews did this or they did that. You are all obsessed about them. It is really pathetic. Oh and in case you didn't know Christine is supposed to be capitalized. Jethro. You have become such a pussy. I remember you said that you were going to have a new way of ...

Durning, king of character actors, dies in NYC

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Charles Durning grew up in poverty, lost five of his nine siblings to disease, barely lived through D-Day and was taken prisoner at the Battle of the Bulge. His hard life and wartime trauma provided the basis for a prolific 50-year career as a consummate Oscar-nominated character actor, playing everyone from a Nazi colonel to the pope to Dustin Hoffman's would-be suitor in "Tootsie." Durning, who died Monday at age 89 in New York, got his start as an usher at a burlesque theater in Buffalo, N.Y. When one of the comedians showed up too drunk to go on, Durning took his place. He would recall years later that he was hooked as soon as heard the audience ...

You should be ashamed of yourselves. My Prayers for the families of all the victims and those children that had to witness this madness. Their innocence was taken from them as well and will need therapy for years to be able to handle this horrific episode in their lives. guest2 minutes agoin reply to Mitchell Many people refer to LOL as lots of love. ‘Oliver Stone’s Untold History of the United States’: Facts Through A New Lens
Post Date: 2012-11-18 13:20:25 by Brian S

It’s somehow appropriate that Oliver Stone has chosen a hotel just a few blocks from the Agriculture Department to talk about his new project. “Oliver Stone’s Untold History of the United States,” a documentary series that debuts Monday on Showtime, focuses on Henry A. Wallace — former agriculture and commerce secretary, as well as Franklin D. Roosevelt’s vice president — as its protagonist over the first three installments, which suggest that the Midwestern statesman would have put America on a radically different trajectory had his path to the presidency not been blocked by Democratic Party leaders in 1944. Stone’s interest in Wallace was sparked ...

Drought-Fueled Disease Hits Deer, Hunting In Jackson County (Michigan)
Post Date: 2012-10-31 13:30:31 by Brian S

A disease spread by biting flies that has claimed over 11,000 deer in Michigan this year has not spared Jackson County. Brent Rudolph, deer and elk program leader for the DNR, said he is aware of 313 cases of deer dying from epizootic hemorrhagic disease in Jackson County. The actual number may be higher, he added. “This has been very out-of-the-ordinary outbreak,” said Rudolph. “We’ve seen a drop off in the harvest because of the number of cases.” The drought conditions this year have been ideal for the spread of the disease as ponds and rivers are transformed into mudflats, which are breeding grounds for the biting flies, known as midges. The midges die in ...

America's Ku Klux Klan Mentality

The Ku Klux Klan [3] (the name derives from the Greek word Kuklos meaning circle with a modification of the word clan added), an American terrorist organization, was founded in Pulaski, Tennessee, in 1865. It was organized by Southerners who refused to reconcile themselves to the defeat of the Confederacy in the Civil War, and its declared mission was to “maintain the supremacy of the white race in the United States.”To this end it adopted tactics in the Southern states that would so terrify emancipated African-Americans and their white allies that they would not dare to vote, run for public office, or intermingle with whites except in “racially appropriate” ...

So, I'm sitting on my sofa, posting this from my living room TV on a remote keypad a little bigger than my wallet. I just thought that was cool and wanted to share it. :)

Please keep redleghunter in your prayers. He has been diagnosed with colon cancer and will be going through surgery. I just found out early this week and have emailed him since and have not gotten a reply. He didn't say when his surgery is, though I know having been through this myself that as soon as they find a tumor, they move within days to remove it. So he may actually have already had surgery or be going through it as I type. That's an unknown. He did not give me permission to post this but neither did he indicate I shouldn't. So I hope he won't be upset that I have. At times like these, we could all use all the prayers and well wishes from those who truly care. So ...

Jews and Crime "The Jewish Almanac" (Bantam Boooks, 1980, page 58) writes: "It would not be an exaggeration to say that their [the Jewish Gangsters] influence on organized crime in the United States during the 1920´s and 1930´s rivaled, if not exceeded, that of their Italian counterparts." The Jewish mobster Meyer Lansky was a major economic supporter of Zionism and Israel, just like todays Jewish oligarchs from Russia, and ADL has given its "Torch of Liberty Award" to Jewish mafioso Morris “Moe” Dalitz. In this section we deal with the little known fact of Jewish involvment in criminal activities such as money laundering, white ...

Time Magazine Cover -- Forget The Breast, What About The Boy?

Jamie Lynn Grumet, the 26-year-old mother featured on the cover of Time magazine breastfeeding her 3-year-old son, has done more this week than become the poster woman for “attachment parenting,” the sometimes laudable movement that advises parents to be physically and emotionally available and responsive to their children. She has shown the limits of such a concept, and the ways in which it can be twisted into a bizarre, contemptible caricature of itself. Grumet is a model, and models have to have at least healthy dose of narcissism (television journalists like me, too, by the way). But I fear Grumet has more than what’s healthy. Because she thought nothing of becoming ...

June Cleaver To Gloria Pritchett: 5 Great TV Moms

(05-12) 13:15 PDT , (AP) -- Why settle for one great mom when, as any TV viewer knows, you can adopt a series of them? Here's five of the best, from the demure 1950s version to the freewheeling 21st-century incarnation. These fictional mamas may have set the bar high for generations of real ones, but they did something in return: kept families entertained so they'd give mom a break, if only until the next commercial. No Mother's Day card is necessary, but let's give each of these TV moms a big hug for her holiday: _ June Cleaver (Barbara Billingsley), "Leave It to Beaver," 1957-63. Yes, June wore pearls around the house. And high heels. But her real trademark ...

Carroll Shelby: 1923-2012 Auto legend Carroll Shelby died Thursday night at Baylor Hospital in Dallas at the age of 89. Carroll Shelby's shadow stretched out Texas tall across nearly the whole of the world's automotive landscape. A natural as a race driver, he won three U.S. sports-car championships in Ferraris and Maseratis, and for Aston Martin he won the 1959 24 Hours of Le Mans with British co-driver Roy Salvadori. Turning automaker in the 1960s, he fathered the Cobra, an Anglo-American hot rod of crude conception but stunning effectiveness that swept the tracks of North America and wrested a world manufacturer's title from Ferrari. Additional success came with his ...
