DILBERT CREATOR: TRUMP ‘BITCH SLAPPED’ THE ENTIRE GOP ESTABLISHMENT Post Date: 2015-08-16 09:23:44 by A K A Stone

Like many of you, I have been entertained by the unstoppable clown car that is Donald Trump. On the surface, and several layers deep as well, Trump appears to be a narcissistic blow-hard with inadequate credentials to lead a country. The only problem with my analysis is that there is an eerie consistency to his success so far. Is there a method to it? Is there some sort of system at work under the hood? Probably yes. Allow me to describe some of the hypnosis and persuasion methods Mr. Trump has employed on you. (Most of you know I am a trained hypnotist and this topic is a hobby of mine.) For starters, Trump literally wrote the book on negotiating, called The Art of the Deal. So we know ...

Donald TrumpIts an unwritten commandment of politics: Thou shalt make no mention ever of a womans menstrual cycle. Bringing up womens biological differences from males seems as mean-spirited as talking about the state of Donald Trumps hairdo. There, I put it out there. Again. But you wont hear me called a sexist pig waging a War on Men. Because making fun of The Donald on a superficial level is not just de rigueur in this Republican primary season. For a columnist, it represents a virtually required sexist double-standard. Where is the outrage? The billionaire real estate developer was swiftboated Thursday night. He was effectively tried and ...

Its a bad week for wrestling fans, as Rowdy Roddy Piper is dead, and we learned that even Hulk Hogan is no match for Political Correctness. Like a Soviet official who has fallen out of favor, Hulk Hogan (pictured right, in happier days) has been airbrushed from the history of World Wrestling Entertainment, the company he turned into a global force, and whose owner, Vince McMahon, he turned into a billionaire. Yet the WWEs decision may prove short-sighted, as the company and its owners remain vulnerable to a Politically Correct crusade despite disavowing their most legendary superstar. Hogan was the breakthrough star of professional wrestling, a hero to children of the 1980s and ...
Cuckservatism: The Cuckoo In The Conservative Movement’s Nest Post Date: 2015-08-03 12:14:59 by nativist nationalist

Recently, I discussed how the crude but effective portmanteau cuckservative has taken the internet by storm. But I did not spend much time defining cuckservativein part, because a term popularized in memes, message boards, and social media is not likely to have a coherent definition. However, the cuckservative meme may be having a lasting impact by getting people hitherto unaware of Dissident Right views exposed to them and causing them to rethink their old assumptions. So its worth examining in more detail. American Renaissance Editor Jared Taylor distilled many of the memes and snarky insults into a coherent and unified argument: that the things ...
First They Ignore You, Then You Laugh At Them, Then You Win: How The “Cuckservative” Meme Is Undermining Conservatism Inc. Post Date: 2015-07-31 10:02:09 by nativist nationalist

Gandhi probably never uttered his most quoted aphorism: First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. but many dissident movementsboth before and after the misquotehave adopted it to describe their hoped-for trajectory from marginalization to victory. [The 10 most famous things never actually said, by Eoin OCarroll, Christian Science Monitor, June 3, 2011] For the past several years, Conservatism Inc. and the Main Stream Media have effectively ignored the Dissident Right and all other heretical thinkers on race. In fact, the only time groups like American Renaissance or VDARE.com typically receive any attention is when the ...

Meghan McCain, the political scion who has won public fame as a blogger, commentator and TV-show host, will join Fox News Channel as a contributor, Variety has learned. A spokesperson for the network confirmed the hire. McCain is expected to contribute to the networks primetime and daytime programming. McCain, the oldest daughter of U.S. Senator John McCain, a Republican, joins as Fox News Channel, like other news outlets, heads into a frenzied pre-season for the 2016 election for U.S. President. Already, more than a dozen different candidates for the Republican nomination have thrown their hat into the ring. McCain, who has identified as a Republican in the past, could well offer ...
Donald Trump and the Fed-Up Crowd Post Date: 2015-07-27 13:28:30 by Rufus T Firefly

Donald Trump a former liberal and benefactor of Democrats is still surging. But his loud New York lingo, popular put-downs of obnoxious reporters and trashing of the D.C. establishment are symptoms, not the catalyst, of the growing popular outrage of lots of angry Americans who are fed up. The fed-up crowd likes the payback of watching blood sport in an arena where niceties just dont apply anymore. At least for a while longer, they enjoy the smug getting their comeuppance, as an uncouth, bullheaded Trump charges about, snorting and spearing liberal pieties and more sober and judicious Republicans at random. Perhaps they dont see the abjectly crude Trump as any ...
Forget Trump and Bernie: Here’s Why Clinton or Bush Will Be the Next President Post Date: 2015-07-27 13:05:39 by Hondo68

Political elite has absolutely no fear of Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders are rising in the polls and seemingly pose a threat to the political establishment. Come the 2016 primaries, however, Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton will likely be at the top of the pack. The oligarchy that has controlled American politics for generations is still firmly in control despite the illusion of change. In no way do Trump or Sanders threaten this control despite the corporate medias fascination with them and polls that appear to show them gaining favor among potential voters. A CNN-ORC International poll conducted between July 22-25 demonstrates the dominance of the ...
Looks Like Biden's Running Post Date: 2015-07-26 09:57:20 by Hondo68

From the New York Times last night:Two inspectors general have asked the Justice Department to open a criminal investigation into whether sensitive government information was mishandled in connection with the personal email account Hillary Rodham Clinton used as secretary of state, senior government officials said Thursday. What does that have to do with whether or not Joe Biden intends to run for president? Well, the relationship between the Obamas and the Clintons has always been -- to put it mildly -- strained. There are all kinds of reasons why. The Clintons resent the righteous ass-whipping Obama handed Hillary in the 2008 Democratic primaries. The Obamas resent the fact that the ...
Why Some People Will Always Bow to Tyrants Post Date: 2015-07-19 17:35:26 by Rufus T Firefly

As America continues to descend into a vicious police state, many have wondered how it all came to this. The easiest answer to that question, is that we let it happen. No matter how brutal a regime may be, tyrants never come to power unless they gain the approval, or at least the indifferent consent of their people. So the real question is, how come so many people seem absolutely complacent in the face of our crumbling cultural values, and the steady march of tyranny? Even worse, how can so many people revel in it? It seems like the number of people who truly value freedom are severely outnumbered by idiots and power tripping busybodies. Granted, the number of people who want to be free ...
Why I Support Donald Trump’s Campaign – And It’s Probably Not What You Think… [Full Thread] Post Date: 2015-07-14 22:32:16 by A K A Stone

Begin with the end in mind – I’m not trying to convince anyone that Donald Trump is running a campaign to actually win the GOP nomination.
Factually, I’m as uncertain and perhaps more skeptical as the next person. However, given that Trump has actually done things he normally wouldn’t do if this was a mere publicity stunt (ie. stock divestitures, removal of conflicts etc.), for the sake of intellectual argument, I’m going to assume, cautiously yet optimistically, he’s in it to win it.
So why support him?
Argument #1 – After all, he’s been a democrat, an independent, a Republican, and well, I have consistently despised Charlie Crist.
Counter Argument – Then again, what about ...

Image Credit: Instagram/tednugentofficial"Americans are fed up with the political status quo..." Rock star and conservative activist Ted Nugent struck back at comments made by Ari Fleischer, former White House press secretary to President George W. Bush, in an op-ed piece published Wednesday regarding Republican presidential candidate Donald Trumps credibility. Donald Trump is like watching a roadside accident, Fleischer told Politico last month. Everybody pulls over to see the mess. And Trump thinks thats entertainment. But running for president is serious. And the risk for the party is he tarnishes everybody. Fleischer was also critical of the ...

What Did Lincoln Really Think of Jefferson? Post Date: 2015-07-05 19:39:29 by A K A Stone

GETTYSBURG, Pa. Lincoln hated Thomas Jefferson. That is not exactly what we expect to hear about the president who spoke of malice toward none, referring to the president who wrote that all men are created equal. Presidents have never been immune from criticism by other presidents. But Jefferson and Lincoln? These two stare down at us from Mount Rushmore as heroic, stainless and serene, and any suggestion of disharmony seems somehow a criticism of America itself. Still, Lincoln seems not to have gotten that message. Mr. Lincoln hated Thomas Jefferson as a man, wrote William Henry Herndon, Lincolns law partner of 14 years ...

You are hardly a name-brand company if you havent dumped Donald Trump over the past seven days. NBC, Univision and Macys have all thrown The Donald under the bus, in the heaviest blow to schlock culture in this country since the cancellation of Jersey Shore. The carnage ranges widely across media, encompassing reality TV (Celebrity Apprentice), entertainment properties (the Miss USA Pageant), fashion (the Donald J. Trump Signature Collection) and even fragrance (Success by Trump). Yes, the 2016 Republican field is so wide and diverse it includes perhaps the nations first presidential candidate with his own fragrance, and, it must be noted, not just ...

Anybody else ever heard of such a critter? There is a old guy I see at the local Hardees fairly often that started showing up wearing one of those blue ball caps you see that are sold that have stuff like "VN Vet","Korean War vet",USN Vet",etc, etc, etc. The difference is his says "Cold War Veteran" on it,and he has a bunch of badges and other crap pinned on it. I asked him about it the first time I saw it,and he says he wears it because he was a veteran of the Cold War. Come to find out he was in the Coast Guard Reserve so he could avoid the draft and get a government job. I don't really know if I should laugh or be mad. IMHO,pretty much everyone ...
End Domestic Partner Benefits Post Date: 2015-07-01 22:29:56 by A K A Stone

My company, like many others, offers the same benefits to same sex domestic partners as it does to opposite sex spouses. With the recent supreme court ruling on same sex marriage, we should all call on all of these companies to end domestic partner benefits or offer the same to hetero couples as well. If pushed, think most companies would offer benefits only to married couples of the same or opposite sex. If they want the benefits, make them get married. In a lot of cases, I think we'll find out that they aren't such a dedicated couple as just freeloading off the system. Poster Comment:It is discrimination to offer these benefits to some stupid queer and not people who aren't ...

I saw a copy of an email this morning on FB allegedly sent to Obama. By researching, I found the actual letter as it was published in a letter to the editor on August 29, 2009, in a Jackson, MS newspaper. The person circulating the new email on FB simply changed the Dear Sirs to Dear Mr. President. Because the message is still so poignant even today, I have decided to republish it here. Dear Sirs: During my last night's shift in the ER, I had the pleasure of evaluating a patient with a shiny new gold tooth, multiple elaborate tattoos, a very expensive brand of tennis shoes and a new cellular telephone equipped with her favorite R&B tune for a ...
The King v. Burwell Aftermath Post Date: 2015-06-26 09:03:32 by cranky

One of the core problems with a decision like the Supreme Courts King v. Burwell ruling is that it does the opposite of what a Supreme Court presided over by justices-for-life is supposed to do. As Chief Justice Roberts makes abundantly clear in his ruling, he looked at politics, not the law, concluding that upholding the clear text of the Affordable Care Act would have killed it, and inflicted chaos on a health insurance system already driven mad by ObamaCare. He made a political judgment with copious pressure from President Obama and his followers, and the weight of his own previous decision to put politics above the law to preserve the individual mandate that the ...

I will never be able to hold her again, but I forgive you. So said Nadine Collier, who lost her mother in the massacre at the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, offering forgiveness to Dylann Roof, who confessed to the atrocity that took the lives of nine churchgoers at that Wednesday night prayer service and Bible study. If there is a better recent example of what it means to be a Christian, I am unaware of it. Collier and the families of those slain showed a faithfulness to Christs gospel of love and forgiveness that many are taught but few are strong enough to follow, especially at times like this. Their Christian witness testifies to a forgotten ...
There's a Reason We Mostly Hear About 'White Micro-agressions' Post Date: 2015-06-24 17:49:29 by cranky

The massacre of black churchgoers in Charleston by an evil psycho is a hideous thing. The case is especially sickening because the victims were chosen specifically because of their race. Thank God it's extremely rare for whites to target black people for attack. And yet the public is being told by The New York Times, The Washington Post, MSNBC and Salon that the Charleston massacre is proof that we live in a country packed with marauding racist murderers. It's like saying we have an epidemic of men flying gyrocopters onto Capitol Hill. Yes, there's that one time, but I notice you keep citing the same case. In The Washington Post, for example, columnist Lonnae O'Neal ...

Reading Tea Leaves on the 2015 Supreme Court Term For What It Is Worth By: Dan McLaughlin (Diary) | June 21st, 2015 at 03:44 PM | 10 The political world will increasingly be watching the Supreme Court over the next two weeks, as the eleven cases left on the Courts docket for its 2014 Term include a number of blockbusters. The Court, in the words of Justice Jackson, is not final because it is infallible; it is infallible because it is final. Nothing can stop the Court from doing whatever it wants. That said, it does operate under some self-imposed institutional constraints, and one of those is that it tries to follow its own traditions in among other things how and ...
