googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1509584875136-0'); }); Pastor Rich Little sent this message to friends, family, and leaders in his Michigan community on April 9, 2020. All Brothers & Sisters in Christ I have been trying very hard to stick to my lane, as I was told when I was in the Army, and concentrate on Christ and the Gospel as a pastor during this crisis. Truly, the Lord and His Word is the one eternal thing that endures and matters, and will save us in the end His promise of forgiveness and life are literally all we have. However, as a human being, deeply flawed and self-serving and sinful as I am, I cant ...
What’s Wrong With Assistance? Post Date: 2020-04-24 19:07:04 by Deckard

Theres nothing wrong with a little assistance . . . if you need it. If you asked for it. Offering to help a little old lady cross the street, for instance. Thats sweet. Boy Scouts are taught this. Well, they were before the Boy Scouts got kiboshed by being forced to admit girls.Another rant, for another day.But try to imagine a hand on your elbow that you didnt ask for. When youre not a little old lady and dont need any help. Its insulting and tyrannical. And its exactly that kind of assistance youll find in almost every new car. You cant say no without saying no to the car. And the car ...

Why Do We Misjudge Others
Projecting one’s own motives to others
When we interact with a new person, our judgments are colored by our own past experiences, projections, and expectations. In essence, we are imposing the blueprints of our past relationship experiences on the new person. Below, I will describe three key concepts to increase awareness to avoid this error in judgment.
1. Self-Fulfilling Prophecy 2. The idea refers to a false belief of a situation that evokes a behavior that in turn makes the false belief become true.
Consider a decision facing Joe, a waiter working in a busy restaurant, assuming his goal is to maximize his tips. Based on a limited number of ...

During a bank robbery in Stockholm, Sweden back in 1973 four bank employees were held hostage for six days in the bank's vault. A curious bond appeared to develop between the hostages and their captors which later came to be called Stockholm syndrome. According to Wikipedia Stockholm syndrome is defined as: . . . A condition in which hostages develop a psychological alliance with their captors during captivity. . . Currently we are experiencing a global terror campaign waged by the elites who control the World Health Organization (WHO) and who are using the fear of the Covid-19 virus as a psychological terror tactic. Photos of temporary morgues ...

Reporting on criminal cops much neededThe job of a cop is getting harder, but that doesnt excuse some incidents of abuse of police duties Re: Californias Criminal Cops (Page A1, Nov. 11): I have read your articles on criminal cops and I must say they were much needed. The job of a cop is getting harder and harder, but that doesnt excuse some of the incidents that we read of abuse of police duties. Finding the right people for that job needs to be changed; it seems a few bad apples have really changed peoples outlook of the profession. It takes a certain type of person to be a good police officer. What we must remember, though, is that a ...
SOMEONES OPINION: What Does Free Speech Mean? Post Date: 2020-04-19 08:00:45 by Gatlin

What Does Free Speech Mean?
Among other cherished values, the First Amendment protects freedom of speech. The U.S. Supreme Court often has struggled to determine what exactly constitutes protected speech. The following are examples of speech, both direct (words) and symbolic (actions), that the Court has decided are either entitled to First Amendment protections, or not.
Freedom of speech includes the right: Not to speak (specifically, the right not to salute the flag). West Virginia Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943).

Dr. Ron Paul: Resistance is Building to Coronavirus “House Arrest” Orders…It’s About Time! Post Date: 2020-04-09 07:33:22 by Deckard

By Mac Slavo Americans have suffered under the boot of tyranny long enough. Resistance to the house arrest orders and pushback against the bans from making a living are finally surfacing in large numbers. Have people finally realized they are not slaves to be controlled by a few power-hungry politicians? Across the country, from political leaders to small business owners, to parents who just want to take their children to the park, resistance is growing to the authoritarians who have effectively suspended the Constitution and placed most of the country under house arrest. Lawsuits are also challenging unlawful stay at home orders. What if all the hysteria-driven orders ...
Adam Klein: To fight coronavirus spread, Constitution allows governments to do what public health requires Post Date: 2020-04-07 16:37:11 by Gatlin

Adam Klein: To fight coronavirus spread, Constitution allows governments to do what public health requires Are authoritarian regimes inherently better at fighting pandemics? China appears after months of delay and deception to have brought its domestic outbreak under control, but COVID-19 (the disease caused by the novel coronavirus) continues to spread rapidly elsewhere. Other countries experiences suggest that stopping the disease will require aggressive measures to control public movement. Americans could be forgiven for wondering whether our legal tradition, with its focus on individual rights, will hamper our response. It will not. American law provides ...

Yes, doctors and nurses deserve our gratitude and applause. But not just the doctors and nurses who are fighting to save patients with coronavirus at what appears to be several dozen hospitals around the country that are actually somewhat overwhelmed with COVID-19 cases right now. We should also be concerned about the thousands of doctors and nurses who are seeing their salaries cut back, seeing their working hours docked or being outright laid off right now because thousands of hospitals, clinics and medical practices are basically vacant. Your corrupt news media, in its ongoing zeal to keep the national panic it created going all the way through the November election, continues to ...

Were told by government and media talking heads that were in a war with the Covid-19 virus. The threat from said virus is supposedly so potent that famine, poverty, suicide and utter dependence on government is preferable to contracting the illness. Were told to huddle in our homes and social distance ourselves from other humans at least six feet. Now were told its advisable to wear a mask when one is shopping for necessities like food and medicine. Every day the news media appears to revel in upping the fear index by showing pictures of mobile clinics and morgues being erected in cities like New York. Were shown leaked pictures of body bags ...

Chuck Norris Warns of Rebellion, Martial Law if America's COVID Strategy Doesn't Change Post Date: 2020-03-30 10:55:01 by Deckard

The nation is gripped with coronavirus panic, but there is also fear about what is going to happen to our freedoms and our economy once the crisis is over. This pandemic has taken its toll on the United States and that is not lost on conservative actor Chuck Norris, who published an Op-Ed for WND on Monday wondering how long it would be until we were under martial law. The actor said he believes in being prudent and also being peaceful but, he added, he had tough questions to ask. Norris said he was concerned by the growing lockdown orders and curfews being enforced by law enforcement limiting citizens movements. If the need for citizen confinement grows, ...

Op-Ed by Brandon Turbeville Although it was nearly twenty years ago, I can remember 9/11 like it was yesterday. I remember the shock of hearing about the planes crashing into towers, at first believing it was a tragic accident and quickly learning it to be otherwise. I remember being told that 19 hijackers, part of a fundamentalist plot to destroy America, were behind the attacks and that the mastermind was a man in a cave in Afghanistan named Osama bin Laden. As all of America was glued to their television screens, many rushed out to give blood in an effort to at least do something to help one another. George W. Bushs answer for Americans was to go to work and then go out and shop. ...
Shut us down already, Mr. President! Post Date: 2020-03-21 22:21:34 by Deckard

Today it was reported that Wuhan, China, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, reported zero new cases. Zero! Why? Because they were shut down. Totally and completely shut down.In a totalitarian society like China, this was possible. For weeks, no one was allowed in and out of the city except for deliveries. People were confined to their homes. After making many awful mistakes, the Chinese government pivoted, quarantined the region and then enforced these rules with a heavy hand. You can argue with their tactics, but you cant argue with their results. It worked. Which is why I say to President Trump: Shut us down, sir. Please, just shut us down.I mean the whole country. Not just ...

Cover for an economic reset and an elitist-driven totalitarian global authority. The response by the government to COVID-19 will turn America into a third world country in short order. Destroying the economy, throwing millions of people out of work, creating air money and thus inflation, and draconian measures to head off a virus that kills far less than the ordinary flu will have serious and unprecedented ramifications. The veneer of civilization will dissolve in short order. If practically everyone is ordered by the state to shelter in place, there will be few people left to deliverlet alone producefood and other necessities. Within the first few days of ...

I had a fall in my yard. I won't go into the details now, but I was told I had a massive fracture of my upper humerus and shoulder socket. They told me that the only options I had was do nothing and live with it, or have a shoulder replacement surgery. Oh well. I am almost 60 years and this is the only broken bone I have ever had.
Recap of Michael Pillsbury’s excellent CPAC speech on China Post Date: 2020-03-02 07:51:47 by WWG1WWA

There were a few good talks at CPAC, and Michael Pillsburys short talk on the Presidents handling of China was an important one (video below). If you are an economics wonk and follow China, you likely know who he is. Pillsbury highlights the Space Force and how the new attention to space is a critical achievement. Why? China launched almost twice as many rockets and satellites into space as we did last year. From a perspective of obtaining the technological and wartime high ground, thats a chilling fact. The next point is candidate Trump said if Hillary wins, China will surpass the United States. Trade deal, $200B of new purchases, stopping trade theft and allowing ...

What the books are about, and why I wrote them: I began writing Enemies Foreign And Domestic in 2000, after too many years of watching our constitutional republic morphing into a police state. These novels, based upon nearly a half century of carefully studying historical patterns, are my attempt to shine a light forward in time. My goal is to warn my compatriots that we are inescapably losing our freedom, one ratchet-click at a time. The Muslim terror attacks on 9-11 kicked the process into high gear. But instead of new laws targeting our actual enemies--radical Islamists bent on the global spread of their Sharia Law nightmare--the new police powers were aimed equally at all ...

Interestingly, the year of production coincides with the year of founding of the Libertarian Party
which origination isnt so important in itself, but reveals the early state of consciousness of the modern American (and planetary) libertarian movement. The young freedom movement had many heads: a minority one was explicitly antiwar, antiestablishment, and ...
Impeachment blowback: Trump supporters feeling good Post Date: 2020-02-01 05:24:43 by WWG1WWA

President Trump’s voters have been on a slow burn ever since the Russia hoax was launched to frame him. We got angrier as it dragged on for two endless years, dirtying the president up with baseless investigations, and suppressing his approval ratings. When the rigged investigation flopped, and the responsible Obama officials came under investigation by the DOJ, we thought it was behind us. The respite was brief. The Ukraine Hoax rolled out, the sham impeachment was launched, and Trump supporters entered a stage of cold, implacable rage and the determination to win.
Dems have no interest in and no idea of the impact of their antics on normal Americans. We deplorables don’t count as ...

I never thought Id hear myself say this, but Im a little worried about Donald Trump. Im worried he may be on the verge of a sudden, major heart attack, or a stroke, or a fatal golfing accident. Food poisoning is another possibility. Or he could overdose on prescription medication. A tanning bed mishap is not out of the question. He could accidentally hang himself during autoerotic asphyxiation, or get shot by a lone-wolf white supremacist terrorist trying to start the RaHoWa. The Russians could spray him with that Novichok perfume. There are any number of ways he could snuff it.I dont mean to sound alarmist, but the Resistance is running out of non-lethal options for ...
