GREENE COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – Football teams across the Tri-Cities battled on the field Friday night, but something else caught the attention of fans in Greene County. At the South Greene and West Greene game 8News sister station WJHL cameras caught a South Greene fan running with a Confederate flag through the West Greene student section, when all of a sudden someone else takes the flag out of his hand and snaps the flag pole in half. For those of you who haven't seen this show and are readers,it is based on an Elmore Leonard short story,and he was one of the executives and writers right up to the time of his death. Some of the best character actors ever seen,and some of the best writing ever written. If you have ever been around any genuine rednecks in your life,you will recognize people you know. I laugh every time Dickie Bennet or Dewey Crowe show up in a scene. Do yourself a favor and start with episode 1 or season 1 so it all fits together for you.

Published on Jun 26, 2015 On 06/25/15 I attempted to get an Edible image cake printed with the confederate flag image on it at Walmart. It was denied. The next day I had them do the same for the ISIS battle flag image I brought to them. They cheerfully did it. and sold me my ISIS cake. WTF Walmart! ISIS is beheading Christians, selling little girls into slavery, and is currently a terrorist org at war with the United States........but you can't buy the General Lee toy car at Wallmart? A classical music version of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Freebird. This should be the American national anthem. Don't laugh - the one we have now was based on a popular tavern song in the early 1800s. We can change the lyrics around some to make it more anthemic.
