The group, organized by West Suburban Action Project, marched from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Melrose Park to Broadview Immigration Detention Center in Broadview to bring attention to the negative impact deportation has on families. The police detained an 83-year-old priest on Sunday after he was accused at a congressional hearing of having molested boys as young as 12 and a television station broadcast a tape of him having sex with a 19-year-old man.
