A study of men by Lifeway Research released last week found that “Nearly four-in-10 men with either a girlfriend or a wife who had an abortion say they had the most influence on the decision to terminate the pregnancy,” according to Michael Gryboski. Sponsored by Care Net, the study was of 1,000 men “who had a female partner get an abortion and knew of their significant other’s pregnancy before their baby was terminated.” In fact, three- quarters (74% ) of men reporting that their partner talked with them prior to having an abortion. Woke Economists To Study California Reparations

The team of five ultra-woke economists on California Governor Gavin Newsom’s controversial Reparations Task Force includes a professor who has called for nationwide reparations of up to $14 trillion. The group will determine just how much eligible black Californians are owed for supposed harms inflicted on African Americans in the state due to slavery and social injustice. Last June, the California Task Force to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans (Reparations Task Force) released an interim report on the supposed “harms inflicted on African Americans in California and across the nation due to the ongoing legacy of slavery and systemic ...

Illinois City Agrees To Stop Fining People for Resisting Warrantless Home Inspections

It's a victory for the privacy of landlords and renters in Zion, Illinois, as the city has formally agreed to change its rental inspection laws to comply with Fourth Amendment protections against warrantless searches. The mayor and City Council of Zion, population just under 25,000, passed a rental inspection ordinance in 2015 that required all property owners to apply for certification for any residences they wanted to lease. Part of the requirement to get a rental certificate was to allow any rental unit to be inspected by city officials every year. If a landlord fails to follow the rules, they can be fined $750 per day until they comply. Click for Full Text!

Former Rep. Justin Amash, who became the first Libertarian member of Congress when he left the GOP during his final term in office, applauded efforts by insurgent House Republicans who have refused to confirm Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R–Calif.) as Speaker of the House. "This is representative government," Amash says. "For people on the left who talk about democracy all the time, this is how it's supposed to work." New York Judge Rules State’s Red Flag Law Unconstitutional

Justice Thomas Moran of the Supreme Court of Monroe County, New York, part of the state’s Seventh Judicial District, ruled in late December that the state’s red flag law, aka Extreme Risk Protection Order law, or ERPO, is unconstitutional. He relied on the recent Supreme Court ruling in Bruen that any law infringing on a citizen’s rights under the Second Amendment meet a very strict standard: “The government must demonstrate that the regulation is consistent with the Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation.” Click for Full Text!

Fox News lauds the work of Pregnancy Help Centers
Post Date: 2023-01-03 16:35:56 by Charles_Byrd

Fox News Digital’s Houston Keene begins his lengthy and wholly supportive story by reminding his readers that pro-life Crisis Pregnancy Centers— often also called Pregnancy Help Centers today—“have endured vandalism and attacks at the hands of ravenous protesters angered by the overturn of Roe v. Wade and the events leading up to it.” But CPCs are staffed by a determined lot who insist on carrying on their life-affirming work. For example… Keene writes, “Two crisis pregnancy centers in and around the nation’s capital, the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center in Washington, D.C., and Life First in Manassas, Virginia, opened their doors to Fox News Digital to ...

‘You could hold her with one hand’: Preemie born smaller than a ruler is now home

The neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) in Pomona, New Jersey-based AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s (ARMC) Center for Childbirth bade farewell to one of its smallest residents. After spending 35 weeks under the care of the NICU’s nurses and physicians, preemie Zavannah Rodriguez finally went home to her family. Zavannah was born on July 29th at just 23 weeks’ gestation, weighing in at a mere 1 pound and 2 ounces, making her the second most premature baby born at the medical center. Although just over halfway to full term, a preborn baby of Zavannah’s gestational age is remarkable in her development, able to hear noises outside the womb, suck her thumb, swallow, ...

In 2020, seven babies were reportedly born alive during abortions in the state. The reports do not indicate if the babies received medical care or how long they lived. Click for Full Text!

The Twitter Files

If you’re still under the naively mistaken belief that there is no Deep State, the Twitter file dumps1 from Elon Musk detailing how Twitter, before his acquisition of the company, was coerced into doing the FBI’s bidding, with actual FBI agents on its staff to control the online narrative, ought to set the record straight. In fact, the lawlessness of our intelligence agencies and the psychological warfare against the American public is far worse than most people ever expected. Click for Full Text!

“Baby Farms” are Already Here as Scientists Move Towards Creating Babies in Artificial Wombs
Post Date: 2023-01-03 16:21:25 by Charles_Byrd

Will artificial wombs replace natural gestation? Until very recently, that notion was a far-fetched conjuring out of futuristic novels such as “Brave New World.” But research that could make this dystopian prospect a reality is fast advancing. Scientists have already gestated premature lambs in artificial wombs and brought mouse fetuses halfway through gestation in such devices—meaning that gestational vats for humans could be operational within the next few decades. What might such a development mean for human society? A science communicator named Hashem Al-Ghaili just produced a fictional video that illustrates the disturbing potential. The video depicts the product ...

2022 Euthanasia Prevention Coalition Year in Review. Victories, Defeats, and Changes.

2022 was a year of both victories, defeats, and changes. The most important victory was the Massachusetts Judicial Supreme Court deciding that there is no right to assisted suicide in the Massachusetts state Constitution. Possibly the saddest defeat was in Oregon which agreed to remove its assisted suicide residency requirement, essentially extending assisted suicide nationally in the US. In fact that, after passing Bill C- 7 in March 2021, Canadians with disabilities are being killed by (MAiD) euthanasia because of poverty, homelessness, and an inability to obtain necessary medical care. The stories related to euthanasia for disabled Canadians, veterans with PTSD and people who are unable ...

CA APPEALS COURT DENIES STAY OF INJUNCTION IN GUN PRIVACY CASE

A California appeals court panel has unanimously denied a request from state Attorney General Rob Bonta for an immediate stay of an injunction in a case brought by the Second Amendment Foundation in a challenge of the state law allowing the state Department of Justice to share personal information about firearms owners with private researchers. Bonta claimed the law, AB 173, “does not create a serious invasion of privacy.” The trial court disagreed, granting a preliminary injunction to the plaintiffs, thus placing a hold on enforcement of the information sharing law. The case is known as Barba, et.al. v. Bonta. Click for Full Text!

Popularity or seniority? Palo Alto debates best way to choose mayor

Every January, the Palo Alto City Council conducts what amounts to a popularity contest among its members to select its new mayor and vice mayor. The process typically follows an established pattern, with the vice mayor nearly always ascending to the mayor's chair. Selection of the vice mayor, however, is often subject to intrigue, backdoor negotiations, political expediency and the occasional power tussle, injecting an element of tension and surprise into what is otherwise a tightly scripted and ceremonial first meeting of the year. Donald Trump Turns on His Own Supporters Over Abortion

Donald Trump has blamed the Republican Party's disappointing midterm performances on the "abortion issue" rather than the failure of his endorsed candidates. In a post on Truth Social, the former president said that it "wasn't my fault" that the GOP failed to ride the expected "red wave" in November's elections, while pointing the finger for the poor election results at those in the party who pushed for severe abortion restrictions post Roe v. Wade. Click for Full Text!

Money-Supply Growth Turns Negative for First Time in 33 Years
Post Date: 2023-01-02 21:25:14 by Charles_Byrd

Money supply growth fell again in November, and this time it turned negative for the first time in 33 years. November's drop continues a steep downward trend from the unprecedented highs experienced during much of the past two years. During the thirteen months between April 2020 and April 2021, money supply growth in the United States often climbed above 35 percent year over year, well above even the "high" levels experienced from 2009 to 2013. Since then, the money supply growth has slowed quickly, and we're now seeing the first time the money supply has actually contracted since the 1980s. The last time the year-over-year change in the money supply slipped into negative ...

Elon Musk continues to release incriminating files from Twitter that shows criminal activity. Censoring citizens regarding Covid, Ukraine, and Covid 19 bioweapons, all at the behest of the government. Covering up sensitive political information regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop, and certainly, anything to do with fraudulent elections. Recently, Elon Musk called out gain of function research, promoted by Anthony Fauci, as a bioweapon. Musk is correct. Gain of function research is bioweapon development. Dr. Francis Boyle, an international and criminal law expert, has been pointing out for quite some time that Fauci and others are criminally implicated in the development of an offensive ...

With 2022 mostly behind us, many are undoubtedly grateful that this year is ending. From lingering COVID restrictions to the war in Ukraine to economic decline, it’s been a rough go. Amidst all this, the steady slew of spending coming out of Washington certainly hasn’t helped. While people were struggling to put food on the table and pay for much-needed healthcare, politicians were spending billions of dollars on the most wasteful projects you’ve ever heard of. The Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services has reported that enacting a law to protect preborn children led to an almost complete end to abortions, with zero reported in one month, and just two in the following month. According to Kentucky Today, no abortions were committed in the month of September in the state. Two were committed in October, both of which were surgical procedures. One was an aspiration abortion, committed on a preborn child at nine weeks gestation; the second was a dilation and evacuation (sometimes referred to as a “dismemberment abortion”), committed at 16 weeks. Investigative journalist Whitney Webb spoke with The Jimmy Dore Show about her book, “One Nation Under Blackmail: The Sordid Union Between Intelligence and Crime That Gave Rise to Jeffrey Epstein.” The book is so long — and packed with so many incredible details and references — that it was split into two volumes. When you get into this fascinating read, you learn that organized crime fused with intelligence agencies during World War II, forming the precursor of the CIA — the Office of Strategic Services (OSS).
