April 5, 2023: Seventy-six percent (76%) of voters say that the main problem with government finances is that the government spends too much. A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that just 17% say the main problem is that the government doesn't receive enough money. The survey also found that 62% of voters think taxes these days are higher than they normally have been. A policy unanimously approved by the five-member County Board will allow property owners to build at least four, and in many cases six, units on lots where only one home was allowed before.
