To: Mudboy Slim (#1) Had two heart operations,and while in the hospital recovering from the second one,I discovered I had Stage 4 Lymphoma. Got massive does of chemo that pretty much fried my memory,but as slowly starting to get better now,and am in remission. Sooner or later it will return,so I go in for a Pet scan every couple of months. Pretty much stayed away because I couldn't deal with the arguing and had a hard time even forming thoughts,which was and is about as frustrating as anything I can imagine. I can still lose track of my train of thought as I am typing it,though. I stop right in the middle of a sentence sometimes and don't have a freaking clue what the point I was trying to make was. Could be worse,though. Little did I know there is NOTHING people who are afraid of heights want to do more than jump. Going on or coming back from missions in VN,I would be sitting in the door opening on a slick with my feet hanging outside,and get fascinated by looking at the jungle passing below,and start leaning forward without even thinking of it. Every time this happened one of the yards sitting behind me would grab my rucksack and pull me back up straight and "break the spell".
