I've checked hotels for 100 miles for 3 days and they are all booked up. My wife and daughter want to go to a shelter. I say go. However, I am staying here. A shelter is like a jail. Well, I didn't see any flooding here. However, school will be closed tomorrow for the 5th straight day. My daughter's trampoline was blown away into a drainage ditch and pretty much destroyed. However, she really doesn't use that much anymore anyway. I believe most of that flooding occurred in the Wilmington area and along the Cape Fear river, and we are about 100 miles north of there.
