Title: Report: Trump Reluctant to Campaign in Alabama — But Swamp Fears Domino Effect if Luther Strange Defeated

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and his gang of establishment Republicans implored President Donald Trump to campaign for establishment Republican Sen. Luther Strange (R-AL) against conservative frontrunner Roy Moore, the former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice, because they reportedly are terrified that more grassroots candidates across the country will challenge establishment Republicans if Moore defeats Strange on Tuesday.

Moore has led in every poll leading up to Tuesday’s runoff in what has been described as the “first proxy battle” between Trump and his former Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, who has vowed to support the economic nationalist agenda that got Trump elected in the first place.

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and former White House adviser Sebastian Gorka will campaign for Moore on Thursday. Trump and Vice President Mike Pence will campaign for Strange on Friday and Monday, respectively.

According to the Washington Post, Trump’s advisers “were deeply divided on whether” Trump “should risk jetting to Alabama to prop up” Strange. But GOP establishment forces reportedly waged “an intense behind-the-scenes campaign to convince Trump that he could carry Strange across the finish line with an appearance in Alabama.”

Though White House Chief of Staff John Kelly was reportedly hesitant about sending Trump to Alabama to potentially waste his political capital, establishment Senate Republicans were “unwilling to let the president turn his attention elsewhere” because they worried that a Strange defeat “could prompt some GOP senators to retire to avoid facing the wrath of anti-establishment voters and the likes of Bannon’s Breitbart News,” according to the Post’s Bob Costa.

He points out that Strange’s establishment consultant Jeff Roe “fed regular updates to Jared Kushner” while establishment consultant Ward Baker, who advises a pro-McConnell super PAC that has reportedly “poured more than $8 million into Alabama to support Strange,” updated Trump and Pence. Pence loyalist Kellyanne Conway reportedly “impressed upon Trump how much power his visit could have in Alabama and reminded him that all five of the candidates he backed in special elections this year won.” And establishment Republican Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN), who just recently openly questioned Trump’s fitness to be president that in turn got him plenty of plaudits from the legacy press and vicious Never Trumpers, also begged Trump to campaign for Strange.

“You’ve got to go,” Corker reportedly told Trump, according to the Post. “We need you there.”

The Post reported that Moore has become a “darling to Trump’s base,” especially after, as U.S. News & World Report noted, “Bannon and his like-minded nationalists lieutenants at Breitbart have watched Trump’s centrist turn with great unease.” Since Bannon left the White House, Trump has caved on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), made deals with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), increased the country’s troop levels in Afghanistan, and has contemplated not completely withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord.

“Alabama sent Donald Trump to the White House. It all started in Alabama when Jeff Sessions joined Donald Trump at a rally in Mobile in 2015 and said, ‘Welcome to my hometown.’ Now Alabama has a chance to send a wake-up call back to Washington and say to President Trump, ‘It’s time to right the ship,'” a Bannon confidante told U.S. News, which noted that “Bannon sees his most compelling point of influence to be an election that rocks the president back to reality.”

“Trump was messenger of the movement, But the movement is stronger than the president. That’s what people in Alabama are going to show next week,” the Bannon confidante reportedly added.

In other Breitbart news on Strange:

. . .

Strange’s campaign did not respond to messages from Breitbart News.

The Senator’s evasiveness is notable because top Senate Democrats — including New York Sen. Chuck Schumer and California Rep. Nancy Pelosi — are pushing President Donald Trump to accept their unpopular Dream Act legislation without offering any exchange, such as a border wall, penalties on employers who hire illegals or passage of the popular merit-immigration RAISE Act.

The DACA issue blew up September 13 when the two Democrats declared that Trump had agreed to accept a DACA amnesty without getting funds for a border wall.

The cost of the Dream Act is far bigger than the Democrats or their media allies admit. Instead of covering 690,000 younger illegals now enrolled in former President Barack Obama’s 2012 “DACA” amnesty, the Dream Act would legalize at least 3.3 million illegals, according to a pro-immigration group, the Migration Policy Institute.

Once provided with amnesty and citizenship, the 3.3 million illegals would be able to get Obamacare grants — at an estimated cost of roughly $115 billion per decade —  and also sponsor many of their foreign-based relatives to join them in the United States, so inflating the scale and cost of the amnesty.

Strange’s silence on the issue has prompted critics to say he has quietly agreed to support the amnesty, which is backed by a large swath of companies who stand to gain from the increased inflow of immigrants, who double as cheap workers and welfare-aided consumers.
Scoop – Luther Strange has agreed to back DACA legislation, which is why Senate Leadership Fund gave him $780,000. He's pro-amnesty.

— Mike Cernovich 🇺🇸 (@Cernovich) September 20, 2017

For example, the amnesty is boosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which has endorsed Strange. The companies pushing for the DACA amnesty include Walmart and Target. Walmart has more than 130 stores in the state, and Target has at least five stores. Both firms profit from the growing immigrant population in the state.

The state is home to roughly 150,000 immigrants, both legal and illegal, who are working in roughly 84,000 jobs. Fewer than 2,000 of these legal and illegal migrants work as agricultural workers, while at least 35,000 are working middle-class jobs in construction or the food sector, or as teachers, according to a pro-immigration lobbying group founded by billionaire Mike Bloomberg.

The number of DACA illegals in the state is roughly 4,300, but many similar-aged illegals would be eligible for the bigger Dream Act amnesty.

In July, at least 96,251 unemployed Alabamans were looking for jobs.  Many other state residents have given up looking for jobs.

The inflow of extra foreign workers helps keep wages low in the state. In December 2016, for example, the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics reported:
[The] average weekly wages advanced in five of Alabama’s largest counties from the second quarter of 2015 to the second quarter of 2016. Shelby’s 2.8-percent wage increase ranked 107th among the nation’s 344 largest counties and was the only large county in Alabama to rank in the top third of the national ranking. Average weekly wage growth in Alabama’s four other large counties ranged from 2.3 to 0.1 percent. (See table 1.) … When all 67 counties in Alabama were considered, 23 reported average weekly wages under $650, 24 had wages from $650-$749, 12 had wages from $750-$849, and 8 had wages above $850.

When serving at the state’s Attorney General in 2011, Strange sought to weaken the state’s draft HB 56 law curbing the employment of illegal immigrants. He initially failed, but when Obama’s federal government later sued the state to stop enforcement of the law, Strange used his power as Attorney General in October 2013 to stop defending the law and allow most of it to be eliminated.

Reportedly, Strange also has a one-sixth share in a company which effectively trades EB-5  visas and green cards to wealthy Chinese people who want to live in the United States. On September 19, his campaign staff told WHNT that “Luther agrees with the Trump administration that there are serious concerns over the EB-5 visa program, which is not being used as originally intended. It’s time for Congress to get to work on these issues.” The Strange statement did not propose to eliminate the often-criticized EB-5 program.

Strange's involvement and personal profiteering from the EB-5 visas along with the voters' knowledge that he blackmailed the corrupt AL governor into appointing him to the vacant Senate seat is likely to cook his goose.

If Strange is defeated, Bannon's stock goes way up as a power broker. If Strange wins, Bannon is cast into the outer darkness.

I think he would hate to go campaign for Strange and then have his guy lose.

It wouldn't surprise me if Trump turns out to be as weak at getting others elected as 0bama was in his midterm election efforts. And Trump won't like that.

Perot never wanted or tried to win. You recall how he dropped out after the Dem convention, claiming that "the Democrat party has revitalized itself" and claiming some nasty Republicans were trying to blackmail his daughter with lesbian photos. Then when Spook Daddy Bush began to recover, ol' Ross jumped back into the race to stop that giant sucky sound from Mexico.

Perot was a Dem operative operating as a deliberate spoiler. Nader was an unintentional spoiler in 2000 and caused Gore's loss in Florida as was Jill Stein in 2016 operating as a spoiler in WI/MI/PA.

Yup. His company at that time,EDS,was awarded the contract to digitize the entire SS data base the week after Clinton was elected. He was personally awarded and signed for the contract in the WH with Bubba in attendance. This contract was worth Billions, and Perot made Billions in profit when he sold the company a couple of months later.

Please note he hasn't been heard from since, and seems to no longer have ANY interest in politics. He was a whore for rent, nothing more.

What makes you think this wasn't the payout and reward for backing out of the campaign after being made "an offer you can't refuse"?

Poppy clearly sandbagged his campaign; Bubba won despite several personal scandals. The two of these NWO demons were/are OBVIOUS ON THE SAME SIDE. This would be proven when Poppy "adopted" Bubba. Geez -- even YOU know that.

Moore will trounce Strange.

I think so too.

I think Bannon/Breitbart along with Moore allies are poisoning the water for Strange, not that it would take much.

Here's a sample:

Washington Examiner: Suspicions dog Sen. Luther Strange in Alabama special election

And no sane person would say that the voters are wrong to be suspicious of Strange's record.

I was wondering if Trump would have some sudden emergency and stay out of Alabama entirely. But it seems the Swamp talked him into going to the Strange rally. I think Trump's advisers are telling him that he has to go so that other GOP Senate candidates don't start to think he'll abandon them in 2018 if the going gets tough. So Trump may feel he has to take one for the GOP team to maintain their confidence in him as GOP party leader. He can't like that, given how all those people treated him throughout his own run. Especially for a candidate that looks so likely to lose. Donald likes losers even less than POWs, as we know.

Trump was inspired by Perot, no doubt. Trump seriously considered a run in 2000 and in 2004 as the Reform party candidate, to take advantage of their ballot access. Trump's primary campaign themes in the early campaign sounded just like Perot or Pat Buchanan very often. And it doesn't even matter that Perot was just a Xlinton operative and spoiler either.

Without Perot, you would probably never have had a Trump in the same way that without Goldwater, you probably would never have had a Reagan.

Funny how these things can come back to bite you in the ass decades later.

Do you understand the concept and definition of "Coercion"? "Blackmail"? "Subterfuge"?

Perot said he was dropping out due to Republican dirty tricksters who had lesbianish photos of his daughter who was shortly to be married.

So why did he broadcast that to all of America? He was the one outing his daughter as a possible lesbo, not those "Republican dirty tricksters". And he never once named these supposed blackmailers or turned them in for investigation to the FBI or other law enforcement.

So having outed his own daughter as a lesbo on national TV, he praises the "revitalized" Dems (Xlinton/Gore following their successful convention). Then when Bush's numbers started to pick up, ol' Ross suddenly hears that giant sucking sound from Mexican rapists again and jumps back in, apparently no longer worried that Lizzie Perot would have her wedding ruined by "Republican dirty tricksters".

If you believe all that, you need to turn in your CT hat. You're not worthy of it.

Without Perot, you would probably never have had a Trump in the same way that without Goldwater, you probably would never have had a Reagan.

Convoluted projection. But you are entitled to your opinion, aren't you?

Let's start from THE beginning:

Elites and Captains of the Globalist New World Order established the United Nations as their HQ during WWII.

Their prime objective was to capture ALL sovereign gubmints one by one and consolidate them.

In the meantime, America "Military-Industrial Complex" Ike warned about (providing enforcement as the future "Deep State") was to be their muscle.

Starting with Ike's warning and JFK's assassination, the Globalists have imposed their will upon this world and our nation -- dramatically altering our respective culture, economy, sovereignty, MORALS & ETHICS, and our very freedom.

Reagan, Perot and Trump represented "America-First" politics.

The Gipper was shot early in his Presidency as a warning to back off.

Perot was threatened to back off a campaign in which he was gaining momentum (The Fix was clearly in for Bubba to win).

Once Trump tripped up all the Experts, Fixers, and NWO Election-Fraud Machination by winning what is now obviously a paper-Presidency at this point, he has been warned, threatened, blackmailed, and coerced into policies and promises that are conspicuously 180 degrees off of his original MAGA course.

(YOU'RE WELCOME.)

Perot said he was dropping out due to Republican dirty tricksters who had lesbianish photos of his daughter who was shortly to be married.

So why did he broadcast that to all of America?

Actually, Perot's account of exactly changed quite a bit and was at times vague. UNTIL he obtained official script approval from the PTB Globalist-mafia.

The "dirty trickster" story was used because it was a bit more more benign than:

"My family, myself, my business, my estate, OUR LIVES were recently threatened and coerced with blackmail and harm were I to continue campaigning hard to win the Presidency. So it was strongly suggested that I wind down my campaign and go along with a charade that might be believable -- while it also discredited me as a kook and unstable candidate. I've been told to accept an offer I can't refuse."

So now that THAT is squared away, I guess you completely discount my anecdotal account of those who worked on his campaign intimately?

In CASE you or anyone else cares, there was complete shock over Perot's IMMEDIATE and sudden disinterest and withdrawal from a candidate who was ALWAYS ON...and duly noted from staffers at one particular Perot Campaign HQ...

Having witnessed a leader in Perot who had always been injecting an extreme vigor, joy, and optimism in his campaign all but give up and become despondent in front of his ardent, fired-up campaigners helped achieved the Bush-Clinton NWO objective: 'OPERATION QUASH PEROT'.

With a coercive gun pointed at our respective head, I'm sure most of us would "turn Centrist" as well.

Here is the sad,sad truth none of us want to hear about. Regardless of who is President these days,he or she is NOT going to get a conservative agenda pushed through Congress and the Senate. If you were to magically bring Goldwater back to life and install him in the WH,even he couldn't get a conservative agenda front and center.

The communists and the other globalists have been pushing globalism in America like mothers milk ever since the 1920's,and they are pretty much in charge in both houses. What a determined conservative president CAN do is get little bits and pieces passed by promising to support or sign some legislation important to the Masters of the Universe.

Short of a violent revolution followed by mass hangings of the ruling classes of the uber left and the uber right,we are going to have to be content with regaining power the same way they did. A bit at a time over a period spanning decades, while digging in his or her heels and refusing to cave on any more core principles.

I don't like it,you don't like it,but that's the way it is.

Perot DID run to win...

Never known or heard of a candidate that runs to win dropping out TWICE while he was ahead. OOOPS! That's right, the CIA hired space aliens to threaten his family.

What makes you think this wasn't the payout and reward for backing out of the campaign after being made "an offer you can't refuse"?

What makes you think I give a rabid rats ass about a punk like Perot?

Perot? Well as I recall, he was gaining big momentum by August of 1992. And legitimately threatened BOTH Globalist Puppets candidacies.

Yeah, and despite that, this candidate dedicated to winniing and saving 'murika, dropped out twice. Both times when he was ahead. Go figure. MOST candidates drop out when they are behind.

Well, Curtis Strange, the golfer comes to mind. But Luther Strange?

At least he didn't spell it "Luthor".

The communists and the other globalists have been pushing globalism in America like mothers milk ever since the 1920's,and they are pretty much in charge in both houses.

But NOT a fait accompli till brothers Bubba and Dubya's respective regimes.

Short of a violent revolution followed by mass hangings of the ruling classes of the uber left and the uber right...

Please define "Uber Right."

But yes, only your desperate and bloody scenario changes anything.

You're far more naive than I imagined. My bad.

Calm down, Pal. We're only discussing past political games.

Uh, THE point was that Perot went FROM "dedicated to winning" to SUDDENLY QUITTING in August, 1992. Hello.

The second time he ran as an obvious patsy. HELLO AGAIN.
