A 31-year-old man died after he reportedly ignored warnings about swimming after getting a new tattoo and contracted a flesh-eating bacteria infection in the Gulf of Mexico. The unidentified man, whose case was detailed in the British Medical Journal, had gotten a tattoo on his right calf five days prior to swimming, Metro reported.

The man had chosen a crucifix and pair of praying hands for his latest ink, and began suffering from fever, chills and a rash close to the tattoo after swimming, the news outlet reported. He reportedly developed sepsis in his right calf, which had turned purple by the time he was admitted to the hospital.

Two weeks after he was placed on life support, his condition further deteriorated and his kidneys failed, according to Metro. Doctors reportedly believed his years of alcohol abuse left him susceptible to vibriosis infection and septic shock.

While the man’s nationality was not identified, vibriosis causes an estimated 80,000 illnesses and 100 deaths in the U.S. each year. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), patients become infected by consuming raw or undercooked seafood, or by exposing a wound to seawater. (1 image)

Flesh-eating bacteria is one of dozens of new diseases now plaguing mankind. It is last plague # 5 which follows global warming. Scientists suspect that normally benign viruses and bacteria are now mutating into very deadly forms due to the warming of the Earth's air and water. And making matters even worse, doctors are contributing to the problem by over prescribing antibiotics that also cause normally benign "bugs" to mutate into superbugs.

Are you suggesting that Great Plague of XIV century was caused by warm weather (it was significantly warmer than today)?

It is true that warm period ended before the Plague, but the lethal results could take place with some delay.

Is it true that Gorebal Warming infects the minds of liberals to the point that anything they say or write comes across as meaningless jibberish?

Liberals are a lot like Slinkys, they're good for nothing but they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs.

The crucifix kills again. When will we finally outlaw it?

Of course, the man was an idiot to wait until his calf turned purple (gangrene). He would have been very sick, his leg and surface veins would all be bright red from sepsis, etc. So he was an idiot and died of an easily treated infection.

This is what his leg would have looked like with the purple, the swelling, the red blotches. If he'd gone to the doctor even a day or so earlier, he probably would have lived even if he would have lost the leg or some of the flesh.

Of course, the man was an idiot to wait until his calf turned purple (gangrene). He would have been very sick, his leg and surface veins would all be bright red from sepsis, etc. So he was an idiot and died of an easily treated infection.

A couple of things need to be pointed out, here.

Number 1 is some doctors are fools, and some patients are even bigger fools for not getting a second opinion. The first doctor I went to was on a Friday night. My scrotum started swelling that afternoon, and by that night was so big I had to walk bow-legged. The doctor told me "This is a holiday weekend, but take these pills and if the swelling hasn't gone down by Tuesday, come back to see me."

I told him he had lost his bleeping mind if he thought I was going to wait that long, and I would be going to see another doctor if I wasn't better by the next day.

Which brings up the second issue. If you haven't had this problem or know someone who has, chances are you would never believe how quickly it advances.

Point of fact. I didn't make it to the next day, other than technically. I got hit with very high fever that night, and my scrotum burst and was leaking black pus that smelled like a corpse. That's right, black pus. It took me a while to get to the local ER because I live alone, and my fever was so high at times I was forgetting I was sick. When I was lucid,I decided to wait until it dropped below 103 to drive the 30 miles to the ER. It was around 1 AM when my fever broke enough I figured it was safe to drive. Even then I had to stop along the road a couple of times and walk around my truck to make the hallucinations stop.

As it happened,I got VERY lucky. The ER surgeon on duty that night recognized it for what it was immediately and started anti-biotics and called in a surgical team immediately. He recognized it because the summer before he had amputed a 15 year old girls leg after what she and everyone else had thought was a simple spider bite turned nuclear, and when her family rushed her to the hospital that night they had to amputate her leg to save her.

They even had me sign a waiver giving them permission to castrate me if that seemed to be the only option before they would roll me into the ER. I was lucky that didn't have to happen, but after the surgery I was in intensive care for 11 days recovering. People these days just aren't kept in intensive care for 11 days anymore. It's practically unheard of.

I was even a semi-celebrity. Nurses and doctors kept coming in to look at "the man with a scrotum the size of a bowling ball." 4 or 5 years later I had to go back to the ER after breaking a hand, and the doctor on duty and a couple of the nurses recognized me. "HEY! You are the guy with the big nuts!" Ahhhh, fame!

They burned the clothes I was wearing when I came in because of the black pus.

To sum it up it is rare, few doctors have seen it or know how to recognize it and treat it in time because it is a VERY aggressive disease. A lot of times by the time it shows up at the ER and the doc gets to see it and then takes the time to run the tests and do the research on how to treat it,it's already too late to save the patient.

I was told by the head surgeon that if I had gotten to the hospital 30 minutes later that I would have died and there would have been nothing they could have done to save me.

In the entire history of the world, the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments.

You never did say what the disease was.

I had a friend a bit younger than me, a big strapping guy. In his early forties, his testicle started swelling up. It got to a size between tennis ball and softball (I tried not to inquire too much). It had some kind of fluid buildup and the fluids were blocked from draining as they should. They did a procedure to insert a tube to allow drainage and after a few months, it started behaving itself again and draining normally and they finally removed the tube. It was a very unpleasant extended experience for him.

No, I am not. What has a plague of the 14th century have to do with anything? The 7 last plagues all follow the Great Tribulation commonly known as WW II which lasted exactly 3 1/2 years as prophesied (to the exact day, hour and minute using the sacred Hebrew calendar used in all Bible prophesies).

I don't know. I don't think I ever knew. SS paid most of it because the VA refused because I didn't go to a VA hospital for treatment.

I do remember that the doctors and the hospital just wrote off a lot of it,but I still ended up paying multiple medical bills for five or more years before I finally got it all paid off.

Wrong. A war is not a world war until the US is attacked and enters it. From the minute the US entered the war until the antiChrist (Hitler) drew his last breath is exactly 3 1/2 years using the sacred Hebrew calendar used in all Bible prophecies -- down to the exact day and hour and minute.

Actually, I am 70 years old, but I didn't start making annual predictions until I turned 45 -- after diligently studying the Revelation for about 25 years before that.

Well, the Revelation doesn't mention WW I whatsoever, and I failed World History, so I dont know anything much about that one except that very few people were killed compared to the great tribulation of WW II in which 50 million people were killed. So put that in your pipe and smoke it (or whatever you want to do with that information).

what an idiot, the US sat on its duff and profited in both WWI and WWII while nations of the world fought it out in various theatres, we didn't need your approval to declare the conflict a world war, but when you decide, it is a world war. Who appointed you ruler of the world? For your information; the US isn't mentioned in Bible prophesy, so I fail to see their relevance other than the Bible says that combatants will come from afar

You're the only idiot here. The US is mentioned many times throughout the Revelation, from chapter six to the end. And while other nations may have started WWI and WW II, it is the US who ended them because we are the 4th Christian horseman to rule the Earth for Jesus, and it is what we do that counts, and not what you or any other human says. I go by what Jesus says.

In case you haven't noticed, we have a new president now and He's gonna put an end to same-sex marriage and all of the Democrats' evil decrees in recent years including Roe vs. Wade. Actually guys, there is no need to get upity. BOTH the US AND Australia are mentioned in the Revelation several times. For example, take the 6th trumpet prophecy, when on one day (D-Day) the US together with Great Britain, Australia and Canada unleashed 200 million horses (under the hood) on the antiChrist (Hitler) and the third of the earth aligned with him. Those are the 4 nations represented by the 4 angels. The English Channel is represented by the Euphrates River, which was the biggest, widest channel that John new of. The soldiers riding the horses are said to be wearing insignias of red, white and blue (which primarily refers to The US of course who manufactured most of the horses), but also to the colors worn (or flown) by Australia and Great Britain and to some extent Canada (who flies two of those colors). The beaches of Normandy are very accurately pointed to (and even bisected) by one of the vectors of the starguide of ch. 1 leaving absolutely no doubt what the sounding of the 6th trumpet is all about.
