The day after Thanksgiving, a video was posted anonymously on YouTube that portrayed Republican U.S. Senate candidate Trey Grayson as Adolf Hitler in a popular online parody of a German film about Hitler's final days. Within days, it got attention from national media and was subsequently removed from YouTube - but not before it was viewed by more than 500 people on YouTube and disseminated on political blogs across Kentucky.
It was the latest in a long string of anonymous Internet-based attacks in both the Democratic and Republican Senate primary races.
No candidate has been immune from the attacks, which officials call a 21st-century version of tactics that have been around for decades.

A pity that the Grayson Hitler video has been yanked from Youtube.
Mouthbreathing blogs and teabaggers on the Right are excoriating Trey Grayson for being a Clinton delegate way back when. How soon they forget that their revered Saint Ronnie Raygun started his political life in the Democrat Party too.
