To: hondo68 (#2) Louie Gohmert, R-Texas is in the House Freedom Caucus too! A great American. Gohert really is a problem for Lyin' Ryan. He is very popular throughout the party and has a considerable positive reputation within the party nationally. And he is good on TV too. I've wondered if Gohmert joined the brave Freedom Caucus just to be in position to become Speaker if the FC drives out Lyin' Ryan the same way they drove out Weepy Boehner a few years ago. I doubt Jordan could be elected Speaker but Gohmert could. Don't laugh too quick. Mick Mulvaney was a top Freedom Caucus guy until Trump made him a cabinet member with NSC clearance at the OMB. Being in the FC was certainly Mulvaney's path to the cabinet.
