To: no gnu taxes (#0) They're lousy because they're filled with perverted characters and subject matter that's too damned suggestive. They are, however, indicative of American life in many homes and therefore accepted. I haven't watched commercial television for ages, but have relied on Roku to deliver up some fare that's more wholesome where you don't feel dirty and corrupted by watching. Years ago, when television wasn't so perverted, I had a placard atop the television set that showed Jesus surrounded by little children. Under the picture was "Would you watch this program with Jesus?" Fortunately our children married great spouses and raised a flock of grandchildren and they all feel the same way our original family felt about television and outside unwanted influences. Liberals are a lot like Slinkys, they're good for nothing but they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs. You ask why today's TV sitcoms aren't funny? Because they're stupid and mean. They're scrubbed and sanitized for political correctness. The cast must reflect a cross-section of America. White males are depicted as clueless morons who need to be educated by minorities, women, the handicapped and gays on the way things really are. Whar happened to Westerns? The sitcoms of today arn't funny, they are mostly stupid and having to have representative minorities in the cast is the most stupid idea ever.
