Clinton won several southern states when he was running that I doubt he would win today. As disgusted as I am about the idea of transgendered bathrooms, I have to admit that never one time have I personally ever seen it be an issue in real life. He was speaking extemporaneously and just didn't want to delve into the issue much. Everybody is looking for verbal gotcha moments against Trump, and he hasn't been avoiding the minefields.
