Title: Donald Trump's machismo becomes sexism once he faces Clinton

Just hours after Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump launched high-profile attacks against one another on foreign policy, the standoff continued into the night in back-to-back interviews on CNN’s The Final Five candidates’ forum.

The event featured interviews from all the remaining candidates in the 2016 election, but interviews with John Kasich and even Ted Cruz seemed like mere accents – distractions, even – in a larger, highly gendered standoff between Clinton and Trump that could foreshadow a general election in which the politics of sex and sexism is at the fore.

One thing Monday night made clear is if Trump and Clinton do indeed win their parties’ respective nominations, it’s going to be a long, bumpy, gender-politics ridden ride.

So much of what Trump says can be read as sexual innuendo. After Clinton suggested during a speech to Aipac on Monday that America needs “steady hands, not a President who says he’s neutral on Monday, pro-Israel on Tuesday, and who-knows-what on Wednesday,” Trump took her criticism straight to a physical place.

“I have the steadiest hands. Look at those hands,” he said, raising a fist up to show the moderator.

What I suspect is that the pass Trump with the press in the primary process will be the death of his candidacy . (that's if he makes it past the reality that plurality of delegates is not the requirement for winning the nomination; and works towards securing the majority of the delegates before the 1st ballot ).

When did it become established fact that the size of your hands was a direct indicator of the size of your penis?

This was just a baiting joke. The first I heard it was Andy Levy talking about Trump's "freakishly tiny hands" on Red Eye, FNC's late night comedy/talkshow.

So the joke spread. Then Trump took the bait. No effect, just another Trumpism in the stream of daily Trumpisms.

Trump should settle the matter by calling a press conference and whipping it out.

Of course, then the press would say that "wasn't Presidential".

This was just a baiting joke.

I understand that, but what I was wondering when it became accepted as an established fact.

Other than by people who seem to be uber-sensitive to such a suggestion, that is. You know, the people who buy trophy wives and brag about how hot they are.

People that don't have any problems in that area would just laugh at the silliness of such a claim, and let it pass. Trump is still focused on it more than any other subject weeks later.

"This was just a baiting joke."

Sure. On Red Eye.

But once it leaves Red Eye it's simply bad taste. And puerile. Disgusting cowards repeating the joke in public then hiding behind the skirts of Red Eye.

No different than MSNBC which slants the news and, when caught, claims that they were merely offering their opinion.

It swirled around on some blog sites like AceOfSpades too. No doubt, some others too.

Trump takes the bait so easily that you can't be surprised when some wag deliberately waves some bait at him, hoping to carom off Donald's fragile ego to get their 15 seconds of fame.

Nearly 30 years ago, Graydon Carter, the editor of Vanity Fair magazine, described Trump in Spy magazine as a “short-fingered vulgarian.”

In an editor’s letter in "Vanity Fair" last November, Carter said that he wrote the Sky magazine comment in 1988 "just to drive him a little bit crazy."

And according to Carter, it still does.

"Like so many bullies, Trump has skin of gossamer," Carter wrote in November.

"To this day, I receive the occasional envelope from Trump. There is always a photo of him—generally a tear sheet from a magazine. On all of them he has circled his hand in gold Sharpie in a valiant effort to highlight the length of his fingers," Carter wrote. "I almost feel sorry for the poor fellow because, to me, the fingers still look abnormally stubby."

Here are two facts for your pea sized brain.

If Romney had the most delegates they would give it to him.

If Trump has the most delegates and they steal it.

I will never vote for a Republican for the rest of my life. Save it is another Trump.

I will also vote against my Republican senator and congressman. I have a senator who taught his kid to suck dick. I have a congresssman who divorced his wife for some establishment bitch.

So I am already not voting for them. They screw Trump and I will vote for Ted Strickland for Senator and I might even vote for a democrat against the adulterer Ted Turner.

Those are just facts.

The Republican party will go the way of the wiggs if they screw over the people.

You can't "teach" homosexuality to a heterosexual. Period.

You CAN,as a parent or some other trusted authority figure influence someone that is bi-sexual by nature to be a flamer as an adult if you start early, though.

Just like you as a parent or some other trusted authority figure influence a bi-sexual child to live his or her life as a heterosexual if you start influencing them early enough in their life.

NOBODY can turn a true homosexual into a heterosexual,or a hetrosexual into a homosexual, though. If it ain't there there is nothing to build on.

What's significant is that Portman changed his position on gay "rights" after he found out.

Ok,that I can agree with. Reality often has a way of forcing people to change their viewpoints.

Behaviors are learned.

No question about that, but being a homosexual or a heterosexual is an orientation,NOT learned behavior.

The ONLY people that have a choice when it comes to sexual orientation are bi-sexuals.

Man and women come with parts to reproduce. Men are made for women and women for men.

No question about that. It's what keeps humanity alive and expanding.

It is just nature.

There is "Nature" as is applied to all the natural occurring events in our universe, and there is "nature" as applies to individual living creatures.

Some people,as well as some animals, are born sexually attracted to their own gender. Most people and animals are not.

Not hard to understand for normal people.

True. I have no idea why you can't seem to understand something so basic.

Hate to break it to you ;but if Trump doesn't go into Cleveland with the MAJORITY of the delgates then it is unlikely he will survive the subsequent ballots when the delegates pledged to him are unbound. You may think that they are Trump sycophants .The truth is that although they are bound to Trump in the 1st vote ,they are selected by the State Republican leaders .

Now the Trump campaign is beginning to work with State and county conventions that actually select the delegates to attend . He reportedly using assets from the Carson campaign in that effort . But his ground game is way behind compared to Cruz who is working behind the scenes to make sure that even Trump delegates won't back him when it comes to rules and credential questions during the convention . As you know I said a while ago that his ground game sucked . He hasn't needed it so much as it turned out getting his populist message out and voters to the polling places. But that is not the sole reason to have a ground game.

As an example ; in Cowetta County Ga. Trump won the primary by double digit . But 90 % of those who will select the delegates are Cruz supporters . Ted Cruz's Stealth Delegate Hunt

Going forward ,in PA,54 of 71 delegates will be unbound by State Republican party rules . Pennsylvania's 54 Toss-Up Delegates | PoliticsPA

Many a Trump delegate is a TINO (Trump in name only). They will bail on him on the 1st opportunity . Trump must go into the convention with a majority on the 1st ballot to win. He and his supports will cry foul (and maybe riot as he predicts );but what they fail to realize is that whoever comes out of the convention is the party's nominee. This is not a general election where the 'people' decide.

Truth to tell,I'm not so sure Bubbette! is going to end up with the Dim crown once the dust settles at the Dim convention, either. The DNC don't like or trust her either, but are afraid of throwing her under a bus because they can't afford to lose the votes and the money of the blacks and lesbians she owns,or the airheads that get as giddy as a school girl over thinking they can "make history" again by electing the first female president.

She is where she is because she was basically appointed as the front runner. There are a whole bunch of rank and file Dim voters that would much rather vote for someone else. Al Gore, for one, could pull in more votes, and maybe even more money with his environmental scam standing.

Imagine the drama if both conventions form circular firing squads.

I can't even begin to guess what would happen if that were to come true.

If he's so incompetent he can't realize when he's being played in a media gotcha game, then, yes, it is his fault. There will always be another reporter (or a hundred) hoping for their 15 seconds of fame by playing gotcha with someone famous. The more famous the target, the bigger the payoff for the bottomfeeding media.

Not that that will penetrate your little cultish mindset.

The surprise here is that Trump, a tabloid-style media master, seems so unaware of this. Of all candidates, he should recognize media bottomfeeders with ease. That's because he is one himself.

When what may have started out as a joke spreads to major media news outlets, it needs to be exposed for the childish and immature "reporting" that it is. I don't expect a man like Trump to simply sit there and be the butt of everyone's jokes. I expect him to point out the utter unprofessional reporting by the press.
