One of the most evil men ever to live will turn 82 on the 20th of this month, he will, unless the Lord decides He has had enough of it, live to see that birthday because of what the Bible tells us in Romans 12:18&19

If possible--so far as in you--with all men being in peace; not avenging yourselves, beloved, but give place to the wrath, for it hath been written, `Vengeance is Mine, (YLT)

Will I wish it a happy birthday? No, but I will pray that it does understand that it is still living not by any action of doctors or self, but because Christ absolutely refuses to grant Christians the right to send it for judgement.

As we saw with Ted Kennedy, the man most responsible for the destruction of the Republic, God will one day, look down on this evil one born in Waterville, Maine August 20, 1933, and say "ENOUGH!".

"It"?

Wow, you really don't like this guy.

So, here's the question: Is "it" you? Is he a relative? Is he somebody who did something bad to you? Or is he a political or religious figure with whom you disagree?

It's a very curious post you've made. By posting it, you're inviting us to ask, so I'm asking. Who is "it", and why do you hate him so much?

Using Wikipedia I did find this for the date August 20:

1933 – George J. Mitchell, American lieutenant, lawyer, and politician

When I first got into reading your post,
I thought you were talking about Pol Pot.
Easy mistake to make, I guess...

Bob, you do realize that by drawing attention to something you despise, you are actually promoting it, right?

The fact that you state you detest what you draw attention to does not matter.

How you expect that your expressed negativity can be construed as a positive, Christian virtue is a mystery to me.

Pol Pot was not born in Waterville, nor in 1933.

Ah, let me quote to you the favorite verse of the left. Judge not lest ye be judged.

That's totally unrelated to anything I posted.

If you mean to point out you are not judging Mitchell, or whomever you are really referring to in your article..... I would say you are, your quotation of the Bible notwithstanding.

Is such rudeness an example of what you see in Jesus Christ?

You call yourself a Christian, you quote Bible verses on line, you talk about how loving God And Jesus is...

And you treat people like trash?

I don't mean this to be taken in an unkind way, but your comment does not make me feel like you have the right answers about God and spirituality.

Your Christianity is fraudulent. That much seems clear.

As you wish... There was, however, a time not long ago you wished me well, at least in the form of feeling genuinely sorry for me in not sharing your Christian beliefs about salvation. No doubt you regretted the consequences of my beliefs as it would not result in eternal salvation, but instead eternal hellfire. While I do consider your summation erroneous, I nonetheless appreciated your sensitivity toward my well-being. Still do, assuming it was genuine.

For the record though, when I see someone posting as prolifically about Christianity as you do, it sometimes gets my interest as it lets me compare Christian things to my own belief set, which caters to the Michael Newton model of the spirit world, to see which seems to have more virtue and merit. In the example given on this thread, you have drawn attention to someone you apparently feel is offending God significantly.

My counter take: God cannot be offended. That because, the "ability" to be offended is actually a weakness, and God is not weak in any way. We see this in people around us, every time we avoid saying something to someone out of concern for offending them. But a truly well developed, strong soul is one we can say anything to without concern of offending them. My thinking is the same must also apply to God, and infinitely more so.

I don't know much about this Mitchell guy you seemingly posted about. Perhaps he is in extraordinary errant in his beliefs and actions. I don't know. What I do believe though is that God will not give up on him even after he dies. Whatever lessons he is here to learn, he'll hopefully learn. What harm he has done to others, if any, he will make good on in his time, at his pace. And he is immortal, just like you and me.

The "Newton" perspective gives a different perspective than the Christian one you posted here (though I leave room for other Christians to contest the notion that yours is the valid Christian perspective). Under the Newton model, God never gives up on us, ever. Not upon death, not upon "sin". His patience extends to us permanently, eternally, which is fitting for an infinitely loving and majestic God. Our life on earth has a real purpose, designed to grow and develop spiritually, and is not simply something to obtusely "glorify God". In fact, as "children" of God, our destiny is to grow up and be like Him, just as children of all living things grow to be like their parents.

Knowing that, and knowing all of us have our separate roads to travel, lets me put people like Mitchell in proper context. Not as someone to point to as an example of someone who God is about to give up on, but someone that God really loves and will never give up on. That perspective is clearly superior in virtue to the typical Christian one that projects God as being condemning and self-serving. I find that the difference in perspectives between the Newton and Christian models, the latter having objectively less virtue than the former, should give pause to any truly open minded Christian as to which perspective might be more accurate.

I don't consider your treatment of me to be representative of Christianity. That would not be fair to Christianity. But my response back to you is representative of the Newton model of who and what we are: I wish you the absolute very best on your personal travels.
