Scott Walker, formerly a legitimate candidate for President, told the Daily Herald Media Editorial Board that not only does he support amnesty and endorse a pathway to citizenship for illegals– he’s not sure that any additional security measures are necessary to secure the borders…
You hear some people talk about border security and a wall and all that– to me, I don’t know that we need any of that.
Spoiler alert: All the fiscally-conservative, anti-union measures that Gov. Walker fought for and won will be undone within 5 years of the legalization of Marco Rubio’s 30 million new Democrats.
Even though he surely realizes that his party is on shaky ground and that immigration enforcement candidates made major Congressional gains a month ago, Webb aligned himself with the far left wing of the Senate when he voted for the DREAM Act.
I don't know if I buy Walkers explanation. He said we don't need border security. He also said he wants them to all come here and persue the American dream.
Also the GOPe always says it has to be Bush, Rubio or Walker.
"He also said he wants them to all come here and persue the American dream."
Legally.
"I don't know if I buy Walkers explanation."
Back in early 2013, Reince Priebus released a 97-page report called the Growth and Opportunity Project, asking Governors (like Walker) to tone down the anti- immigration rhetoric.
"In a rare intervention in policy making for a political committee, the R.N.C. report calls for abandonment of the partys anti-immigration stance, flatly declaring that we must embrace and champion comprehensive immigration reform.
Yes, Walker should have told him to go f**k himself. Trump would have.
He said we don't need border security ..............
..........IF there was a better immigration system . He's partly wrong about that . I agree we need a better immigration system . But we've already been burned with compromise that is like Whimpy's "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today" . Reagan's amnesty was supposed to be followed by border security .
So while Trump resounds because he makes empty promises of building walls ;he doesn't offer anything else . What is his 'final solution' for the illegals here ? 'Self Deportation'? Escort them to the box cars ? Walker at least exhibits the realization that there is a more complex problem than Trumps simplistic solutions .
Me either, but I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt until I hear more. This issue is just too important to the survival of western civilization in America to be casual about.
He said we don't need border security. He also said he wants them to all come here and persue the American dream.
According to the video MrWhite posted,it wasn't Walker that said that,it was the reporter interviewing him.
Not to worry, though. It is early days yet and there is plenty of time for someone to ask him about this issue on national tv and then we will all see where he stands. Especially since we all know it will be a "progressive" (code word for globalist fascist) reporter on a "progressive network" because there is no other kind of tv network. If Walker stands up to the reporter and states his case,I'm good with him. If he caves to the pressure in order to attract "progressive" voters,he's toast in my book regardless of his stands on any other issue because BY DEFINITION if you are trying to appeal to globalist voters, you are trying to pacify and go along with the anti-American crowd.
