Title: Scott Walker endorses Rubiocare: “I don’t know that we need ANY” border security

Scott Walker, formerly a legitimate candidate for President, told the Daily Herald Media Editorial Board that not only does he support amnesty and endorse a pathway to citizenship for illegals– he’s not sure that any additional security measures are necessary to secure the borders…

You hear some people talk about border security and a wall and all that– to me, I don’t know that we need any of that.

Spoiler alert: All the fiscally-conservative, anti-union measures that Gov. Walker fought for and won will be undone within 5 years of the legalization of Marco Rubio’s 30 million new Democrats.

What is up with this? Does the establishment have video of him with little boys? Or are his true feelings coming out?

I guess all the people that were rooting for him can STFU. This guy is toast!

So? Has he publicly renounced those positions? And if so, how do we know he is telling the truth? How do we know that he is not lined up with Jebby & Marco?

"... he’s not sure that any additional security measures are necessary to secure the borders… "

"... IF you had a better, saner way to let people into the country in the first place." Why didn't you quote the entire sentence?

And the correct date on that video is July 3, 2013 not July 27, 2015. How about a more recent one?

BAIER: In 2013, you said you supported a path to citizenship for people living here illegally, but recently you've —

WALKER: Actually, I'm glad you asked about that, because the Wausau newspaper erroneously quoted me on that. They listed a video on their website that actually showed that the person who asked the question said that, not me, and ever since then I've had to deal with reports over and over again.

BAIER: So that's wrong?

WALKER: That's wrong. It's not what I said. I have said I believe we need a legal immigration system. I have said repeatedly I oppose amnesty. I think we're a nation of immigrants, but we're also a nation of laws. We should have a legal way for people to come into this country either for work or for citizenship, just like we have for generations. Part of that deal is we need to make sure we have a border that's secure, not just for immigration reasons, but as I mentioned, for national security.

There has clearly been pressure brought to bear. Threats were made to either him or some close family member.

Even though he surely realizes that his party is on shaky ground and that immigration enforcement candidates made major Congressional gains a month ago, Webb aligned himself with the far left wing of the Senate when he voted for the DREAM Act.

I don't know if I buy Walkers explanation. He said we don't need border security. He also said he wants them to all come here and persue the American dream.

Also the GOPe always says it has to be Bush, Rubio or Walker.

"He also said he wants them to all come here and persue the American dream."

Legally.

"I don't know if I buy Walkers explanation."

Back in early 2013, Reince Priebus released a 97-page report called the Growth and Opportunity Project, asking Governors (like Walker) to tone down the anti- immigration rhetoric.

"In a rare intervention in policy making for a political committee, the R.N.C. report calls for abandonment of the party’s anti-immigration stance, flatly declaring that “we must embrace and champion comprehensive immigration reform.”

Yes, Walker should have told him to go f**k himself. Trump would have.

He said we don't need border security ..............

..........IF there was a better immigration system . He's partly wrong about that . I agree we need a better immigration system . But we've already been burned with compromise that is like Whimpy's "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today" . Reagan's amnesty was supposed to be followed by border security .

So while Trump resounds because he makes empty promises of building walls ;he doesn't offer anything else . What is his 'final solution' for the illegals here ? 'Self Deportation'? Escort them to the box cars ? Walker at least exhibits the realization that there is a more complex problem than Trumps simplistic solutions .

Yep. Soon, the United States will follow the Roman Empire, into the dustbin of history, and will no longer exist. And for many of the same reasons, but in great part, like the Roman Empire, we have allowed massive unrestricted immigration.

Those that do not study the mistakes of history, are doomed to repeat them!

I don't know if I buy Walkers explanation.

Me either, but I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt until I hear more. This issue is just too important to the survival of western civilization in America to be casual about.

He said we don't need border security. He also said he wants them to all come here and persue the American dream.

According to the video MrWhite posted,it wasn't Walker that said that,it was the reporter interviewing him.

Not to worry, though. It is early days yet and there is plenty of time for someone to ask him about this issue on national tv and then we will all see where he stands. Especially since we all know it will be a "progressive" (code word for globalist fascist) reporter on a "progressive network" because there is no other kind of tv network. If Walker stands up to the reporter and states his case,I'm good with him. If he caves to the pressure in order to attract "progressive" voters,he's toast in my book regardless of his stands on any other issue because BY DEFINITION if you are trying to appeal to globalist voters, you are trying to pacify and go along with the anti-American crowd.

I'm willing to give him a pass until I see and hear more from him on this issue. The primaries won't be held tomorrow,so there is plenty of time for someone to hold his feet to the fire on this issue, and we all know that someone will be from the open borders camp. Which is good from OUR POV because politicians tend to tell people what they want to hear in order to get their votes. If he stands up on his hind feet and takes a firm stand against open borders and limitless immigration in that atmosphere,I'm good with him.

Never forget this guy wants to graduate up into the big club, and to do so he has to play ball to keep the establishment happy.

Maybe, and maybe not. The seats seem to be pretty full in that clubhouse, and there seems to be a lot more people activel anti-immigrant and pro-closed borders today than ever. In is MY opinion that the crest has been reached, and the wave of open border mania is falling. We just MIGHT be to the point where being pro-open borders will be a negative to getting elected anywhere but the northeast and the far west.

You hear some people talk about border security and a wall and all that– to me, I don’t know that we need any of that.

Building a Great Wall of Mexico isn't the best solution.

Walls in some places are needed. Mostly, we need to unleash the Border Patrol to do their job. Bush and Obama kept them muzzled and on a leash.

We should also use some military intel resources like drones to help the BP do the job.

Controlling the border is the issue, not whether it has a 1400 mile wall.

You need to listen to him more often and you would know. For those already here, it will be based on a merit system. If you are a criminal, gang banger, living on public assistance in any form, disruptive to society, you are OUT!

If you can prove that you were actually making a contribution to our society via hard work and family, then he will let you stay. There will be very few who will merit citizenship. Personally, I'd like them all gone but that is unrealistic.

This is precisely what IS wrong, Walker. We already have legal immigration system, without flaws. This is double speak for pathway reform. He also supports Ethanol, and his state is in financial disarray. He came out against Common Core, then installed a similar system. Unions? All I can say is that the powerful Teacher's Union still has "tenure," not removal for failure.

He is supported by the Chamber of Commerce. He has been talking up Rubio. What? Is that his choice for VP? He also supports TPP.

He has hired Democrats to run his campaign. Dayspring for starters, and Mair. Really? Yes, I know he attempted to disassociate himself from them. If true, why did one of his aides just say, "Walker was advised to run as a conservative then he can be more moderate after he wins."
