All (or nearly all) of the other mass killings were from SSRI-type drugs or Valium or whatnot. AFAIK, this massacre in SC is the only one involving an opiate. And some people can't may have to try 4-5 of these drugs before they find one they can handles and one that helps them with their issues. I'm not saying all of these drugs are good some have side effects that will shorten your lifespan dramatically. He then shot himself. 10 dead, 12 wounded. You see some of the complexity with these drugs. Some people are okay, others go nuts. And we probably won't know for certain how much this might have impacted the SC shooter since he now has strong motive to behave better while off the Suboxone to avoid the death penalty.
