Vermont has a new Safe Haven law, which means that parents can hand over an infant to an employee at any fire station, health facility or hospital, with absolutely no questions asked. However, apparently Planned Parenthood is considered a safe place for infants in Vermont. In an advertisement from Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, the abortion business announced, “Vermont has a new safe haven law. This means that rather than abandoning your newborn, you can bring your baby to a safe place where he or she will be carried for. All Planned Parenthood health centers in Vermont are safe places to bring an infant up to 30 days old. And you won’t face any legal charges if your baby has not been abused or neglected. We can help you with medical care, counseling referrals and more.” Pro-life speaker Monica Kelsey commented on Planned Parenthood’s ad and said, “WHAT?? Say What? Are they serious?? Planned Parenthood in Vermont is a Safe Haven drop off location? I called and asked to make sure and yep, you can relinquish your child at Planned Parenthood a few minutes after it was legal for them to rip the child apart through abortion.” Planned Parenthood is hardly a safe place for newborns considering the fact they support late-term abortion and consistently refuse to protect infants born alive at abortion facilities. For example, in 2013, a representative from the abortion business publically acknowledged that they believe an abortionist shouldn’t be mandated to provide a child with medical attention after a failed abortion. As LifeNews previously reported, Monica Kelsey has been is a big supporter of safe haven laws because she was safely abandoned at a hospital in Indiana in 1973. She said, “As a firefighter/medic for the state of Indiana and the fact that I was abandoned as a child, I feel a personal need to educate our youth and our communities about this life-saving law. In a perfect world, we would prefer that the mother come forward, visit a local crisis pregnancy center, and receive the assistance and counseling she needs; however, this may not be possible in all situations. With these cases, we want young women to know that the Safe Haven Law is there as an option that respects the lives of both mother and child.” Additionally, Kelsey has been working tirelessly to bring “baby boxes” to the United States, which are climate controlled devices that allow women to relinquish their child completely anonymously without even seeing another person.

What a load of BS. Often times you are quick to make a comment, like you did here when you stated: I guess we will be told that this is "yellow journalism". I thought as I read your “what a load of BS” comment above, that maybe old Stoner is absolutely correct….more so than he realizes. So, I would like to find out if this is all just a bunch of bullshit or if it is some more yellow journalism where someone is feeding us incorrect information or information only partially true. I need your help to find a copy of the “new Safe Haven Law” for Vermont that LifeNews.com stated just became law in May, 2015. And since “pastor” Bob has me on bozo, perhaps you can also ask him help find a copy. Thank you.

You want to call Him "just a fetus", "just a glob of tissue", "not human", "not life", "not alive"? Not me, I will call Him God Almighty. Paul goes on to tell us in first Corinthians that Holy Spirit lives within us. That we are the temple of the Holy Ghost. I am telling you that the baby in the womb is not a speck, it is not just a glob of tissue, it is a living baby. It is, a life in which the Holy Spirt could very well dwell within. For it is a baby that is completely incapable of protecting, itself. When that baby is slaughtered by the abortionist, that baby is not simply killed, ripped apart and sold for body parts, that baby is a blood sacrifice to satan. That which the mother and the abortionist is no different than that which God absolutely prohibited in Leviticus: And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD (Leviticus 18:31) I don't care what liberal so called theologist tell you, I don't care what left wing politicians tell you, I don't care what anyone else tells you, I'm telling you this. You bring your baby to an abortionist and you're going to hell! Oh, yes, you may later to to a saving knowledge of the Lord, but the odds against it are great. Think about how few woman who kill their babies ever repent of it and after saved. For the most part, you take your trapped baby to the alter of satan to have an abortion done and the chances of your ever escaping eternal damnation are just about slim and none. Don't be fooled. (John 15:13) Now let me ask you a question, is there any man out there who is the friend of the baby in the womb that is about to be offered up as blood sacrifice to satan by one of his high priest the abortionist? May the Lord God above, the Creator of heaven and earth and all things on and in them bless those friends of the baby in the womb and may He find in His heart forgiveness for my cowardice in not doing more to stop this baal worshiping slaughter of His gift to an unworthy and degenerate people. May the Lord thy God be with the baby and do unto those, who do and support the abortion of those little ones, what they would do to His little ones. May His blessing be upon those that are slaughtered and His vengeance upon those who slaughter these little ones, may He treat those who protect, pay and befriend the abortionist as I pray He will the abortionist. May His judgement come upon those that kill the baby in the womb. And may those who kill the baby see the error of their ways and come to the Lord on bended knees asking and begging that I may be wrong and for His forgiveness. May He open their eyes and cause them stop the slaughter and embrace Him and His gifts. To the Father I pray in the name of His Son, our Lord and our Saviour, Messiah Yeshua and through His Holy Spirit. Amen.
May the Lord save the life of a baby and if dropping a baby off a Planned Parenthood will save the life of a baby....then let it happen.
If everyone that worked at planned parenthood dropped dead. That would be good. Then they couldn't murder and file murder paperwork anymore. Planned parenthood should be bulldozed. With everyone inside.
Until the Safe Haven Law was passed on May 2, 2006, it is was illegal to abandon an infant anywhere in Vermont, even at a hospital. Parents who did so faced up to 10 years in prison. Let us be grateful that Vermont passed the Safe Haven Law. Let us also be grateful there are now state approved facilities in Vermont to care for a child which could be abandoned and die. I am pro-life. I am for anything that will save the life of a child. If dropping off a child at a Planned Parenthood center in Vermont will save the life of a child….then I stand tall and say, then go for it. When Westboro Baptist’s preacher, Fred Phelps, died last year….we had one less “preacher of hate.” Bob, don’t become a notorious hate preacher like Phelps by jubilantly continuing to spread messages of hate. Fanatics oftentimes just go too far in their hate … and, that goes for those who align themselves on the periphery of these types and sit silent or act as apologist for these terrible abhorrent and loathsome malcontents. I am not defending Planned Parenthood. I am defending the life of a baby. I am pro-life. If dropping off a baby at Planned Parenthood saves the life of the baby, is that okay with you too?
Generally speaking yes. But Safe Haven is the exception. But they are required by Vermont law to save the life a of child dropped off at their facility. Why is that not a good thing?
