Lucas, the Star Wars creator is offering his own property in west Marin County off Lucas Valley Road near Novato for the project, with plans for a community of 224 homes right where neighbors said no to his studio expansion. “He said ‘we’ve got enough millionaires here. What we need is some houses for regular working people,’” Lucas’ lawyer Gary Giacomini said. Lucas says he will pay for the project himself. “George Lucas said, ‘if I’m not going to do what I wanted to do there, what can I do that would be really beneficial to this community?’” Marin County Supervisor Steve Kinsey said. To: Liberator (#3) I wouldn't say 'never' because he is so rich and connected. But his neighbors and their shysters will try to haul him into court, just to delay it for years even if they can't stop it. It is pretty funny. The CA elites like to arrange things so that they live in very expensive little communities or walled houses or estates where their maids and gardeners can't afford to live. It's how they keep the poor (including the middle class) out of their neighborhoods and especially out of their schools. The entire city of San Francisco is essentially a high-priced gated community. Which is exactly how the lib elite wants it. Lucas knows exactly where to hit these hypocrites. It is really ripe for him to skewer them this way and ram all their liberal platitudes about the poor and working class right back down their throats. He's already exposed what a bunch of hypocrites they are. If Lucas carries this through, I might even forgive him for a couple of those really awful recent Star Wars movies.
