That debate was such a wipe out I actually felt sorry for the bam. Romney showed him to be an incompetent assclown. Even matthews and maher both agreed that bam got his ass kicked.

I sure hope you get over it, cal, because the last thing that commie needs is your pity, he deserves nothing less than the pointed toe of a work boot! ;-)

Obama's weak on the issues, his failures don't help, he's totally lost and confused without his teleprompt, but even with it the little dictator would have been shredded, he had no defence for his past 3 1/2yrs of incompetence.

Romney did a fantastic job, he was calm, articulate, charismatic, straight to the point, he pounced on the fumblers inaccuracies, excuses and outright lies.

My only hope is, that in future debates, Romney does not for a moment, let up on the offensive attack. Obama is a blithering idiot who has no defence when staring the beast in the eye, face to face, which he could not do. If Romney ignores the pathitic personal attacks of obama's media whores, and keeps his focus on what is truley important to this nation, I predict he will win again, in a landslide, and he will eventually take the WH away from that villiage idiot. jmho!

I watched most of the debate before I fell into an ativan and alcohol trance. Yeah, Romney was using Obama as a straight man set up for his well timed counterpunches, and Obama looked like he a was just a guy who wanted to show up and get his check. But mostly, there wasn't any more there than what anybody whose paid attention has already seen.

Obama has played at being a president while enjoying the perks … golf, insanely expensive vacations at tax-payer expense. He has ignored the responsibilities of the job; no plans, no budgets, no alternatives … just finger pointing; making him a complete failure as a president

On the stump, candidates deliver prepackaged, prescripted slogans, sound bites, and other rehearsed rhetoric to win votes. Focus-tested commercials proliferate. Candidate virtues and opponents' shortcomings are exaggerated for maximum effect.

Debates are worse. Issues are avoided. What matters most isn't discussed. A duplicitous charade substitutes. Voters are left entirely uninformed.

From the 19th century to today, electoral legitimacy was sorely lacking. Today, elections are stolen with electronic ease. Corporate programmed and controlled machines vote, not people.

They choose winners, not enfranchised citizens. Undercounts and overcounts are common. Many legitimate voters are stripped from rolls. Jim Crow lives. Blacks and Latinos are most affected. Muslims are considered fifth column threats. Media scoundrels say nothing."

He called Obama a LIAR to his face before the entire world.

"Number two, I will not reduce the share paid by high-income individuals. I know that you and your running mate keep saying that, and I know it's a popular things to say with a lot of people, but it's just not the case. Look, I got five boys. I'm used to people saying something that's not always true, but just keep on repeating it and ultimately hoping I'll believe it — (scattered laughter) — but that — that is not the case, all right? I will not reduce the taxes paid by high-income Americans."

He needs to clean up his own act first before he projects his personal failings onto others. What is it with conservatives and their obsession with projection and other personality deficiencies?

Plus he needs to drop from the race as it is becoming an obvious conflict of interest.

This person wanted one quote: Well, why these aren't exactly his words verbatim, I rather liked the idea that if a program doesn't pass the 'is it worth borrowing the money from China' test, its a candidate for tossing out.

Just think.....getting rid of programs that fund guys pissing on a picture of Christ and calling it art--or pissing on anyone else, for that matter! It isn't art--its moral decay. Our children and grandchildren wouldn't have to pay for this crap for the next bazillion years.
