And your question trying to put me on the defensive about Cain's run is in reference to what? I spoke of gaming an issue thread starting and how you seem to facilitate that. I post in response to one of your dog all perceived liberals in response to rediculous slander against me that I have never accomplished anything showing this to be false and I get the inquisition about having been rewarded a not very time intensive custodian job for a building built in the 1880s, It was that mostly vacant and made hollow in the center for an atrium to accommodate temporary market venders. I have to suffer denigrating statements about being trustworthy enough to be allowed in the offices of the tenants there to turn my 30 hour a week weekend outdoor job into a full time one. Why? Because it makes me guilty of having been a *GASP* at will employee making money fo my rent and expense. Not a word is mentioned about anything else but how disgusting I am for working in jobs Eric, Mad Dog or others would not do. Perhaps how you have games your pets to try to punish people more liberal than you is the problem, not how horrible it is people dare disagree with you on politics. I spoke of Gnu and Q's tabloid style propaganda threads. I see nothing here that warrants allowing you to change the subject to Cain. People want to make things personal about jobs I have had, then I want to make it personal about functions you expect some conservative to do to dog people in here you hate on an opinion difference basis.

Cain appears to have weathered the storm. Perry's been 'done' for almost 3 weeks. Its laughable anyone tries to compare his implosion to McCain, given there is nothing remotely similiar about the two other than both were in 4th place at one point in a primary race. mcCain didn't blow 22 points in all the polls in 21 days. McCain was never the 'front runner' from the moment he entered the race. A more accurate comparision would be Thompson or Guiliani in 08.

Wrong. Mentally stable people don't mind being lectured to by someone who knows more than they do about something. Other people just can't stand not being the smartest or most knowledgeable people in the room. Newt is now a creature of the RINO establishment and can't be trusted. Cain has raised a million dollars in the last two days. His poll numbers aren't dropping. The story has shifted to the leaker's Perry campaign connections. To date no one has even described the behavior that supposedly made these women 'uncomfortable'. If anything the story has helped Cain at the expense of his opponents.

First off, anyone claiming that this hasn't hurt in the polls is challenged by reality. It takes 3-4 days to gather data on a specific point and another day to compile it. There is no current poll which will measure any impact or lack of it to this point. Secondly, if the Cain campaign believed that this issue was "over" they a) wouldn't be pointing fingers and b) their candidate wouldn't be talking about it. The genesis of this issue is, to this point, a matter of the women trying to get a "waiver" to come forward with their story. At some point, Cain is going to answer directly to them... There is no such thing as a 7 day political scandal. That Bird does no exist.

This is less about whose side you're on politically and more about your ability to acccurately perceive and assesss whats happening politically. The folks who think that Cain is finished are the one's 'hoping and wishing', not the other way around.

No, actually it is stone thinking people are too stupid to see how he operates. I am being fair, I am not picking on those he manipulates to do his dirty-work, I'm going to much the problem's source. but I appreciate your objectivity in telling me how it looks. Because I need to not be as bad as he operates in reverse in any way. As for Herman Cain, good for him he has his own opinions and is a conservative Republican. Nobody wins when people are just lock steep ideologically. I actually know conservative gays and lesbians locally, one of whom is a police leader and could very well be chief here someday. Diversity of ideology, it is needed to have a healthy Republic and have it's government be robust and healthy.
Good point. My mother and I had a decades long war on this point. She always screamed she didn't help me get a college education not to ensconce myself in the business world and become a capital hunting land shark. I maintained thee point of education and intelligence is lost unless it works hand and hand with common sense. I could never live that way. I had a six digit inheritance a couple decades back and I donated it to the fight to stop whaling and the game in japan of killing dolphins. She didn't speak to me for years and the relationship was never anything but poison after that. I also won't wear a suit if my life depended on it, or a wedding or funeral nessesitates such an odious protocol. I also still have my Class A uniform and would wear that for certain veteran function. But I will die a long hair, and would die before I was cursed with too much money. The thought of having that is alien to me.
