Now only the DRUDGE REPORT can offer a look inside. Chapter 1: The Passing of a Superpower “We have accepted today the existence in perpetuity of a permanent underclass of scores of millions who cannot cope and must be carried by society -- fed, clothed, housed, tutored, medicated at taxpayer’s expense their entire lives. We have a dependent nation the size of Spain in our independent America. We have a new division in our country, those who pay a double or triple fare, and those who ride forever free.” Chapter 2. The End of Christian America If [Christopher] Dawson is correct, the drive to de-Christianize America, to purge Christianity from the public square, public schools and public life, will prove culturally and socially suicidal for the nation. “The last consequence of a dying Christianity is a dying people. Parochial schools and high schools are closing as rapidly as they opened in the 1950s. The numbers of nuns, priests and seminarians have fallen dramatically. Mass attendance is a third of what it was. From the former Speaker of the House to the Vice President, Catholic politicians openly support abortion on demand.” “How can Notre Dame credibly teach that all innocent life is sacred, and then honor a president committed to ensuring that a woman’s right to end the life of her innocent child remains sacrosanct?” Chapter 4. The End of White America “[W]hite America is an endangered species. By 2020, whites over 65 will out-number those 17 and under. Deaths will exceed births. The white population will begin to shrink and, should present birth rates persist, slowly disappear.” “Mexico is moving north. Ethnically, linguistically and culturally, the verdict of 1848 is being over-turned. Will this Mexican nation within a nation advance the goals of the Constitution -- to “insure domestic tranquility” and ‘make us a more perfect union’? Or have we imperiled our union?” (Page 134) Chapter 5. Demographic Winter “Peoples of European descent are not only in a relative but a real decline. They are aging, dying, disappearing. Equality Vs. Freedom “Those who would change society begin by changing the meaning of words. One example that I'm not is that I understand that just because Pat says something,that doesn't mean HE believes it. It simply means he thinks he can make money by saying it. Why do Americans always assume Europeans are all in the same family? In America they all get mixed in together so "whites" are all the same group in America, etc. In Europe, people that look identical to each other and speak almost the same language kill each other without second thought if they could - see Serbs/Croats. See, I read this from Pat and I am as a European I am thinking, "why is Pat including all white Europeans as one people with a shared destiny vs all other people?" That is like if Pat was Chinese and he was saying that Koreans and Japanese and Chinese are all one civilization and people - it is not so. It's more complicated than that. There is no Western civilization per say. It is an illusion created by historians to illustrate history over a span of time. The reason Europeans are having less children (outside of Russia) is because they are wealthy. Its the same reason Japan is seeing a limited demographic growth. Wealth and modernity creates a culture where people marry later and when they have kids have 1 or 2. It can also be a sign of consumer culture, more kids means more expenses and less money to buy a second car or summer home, etc. Poor nations produce more children because they are not a consumer culture and more kids means more security for the family, etc.

Sneak, you're a great poster and one I agree with more often than not. That said, I just want to comment on this point: Yes, you'll see religious wars and conflicts throughout history. There's no denying that. But the Founder of Christianity DID NOT advocate violence - he instead said "My kingdom IS NOT of this world" and urged His followers to turn the other cheek. The fact that some who call themselves Christians fail to act like it is strictly on them.

Is the US a part of the world or not? Both Christianity and Islam have been out to conquer and control the whole world since both were created. Organized religion is about wealth and power. Ireland and the Ottoman Empire are NOT analogous. You're right. One was about organized Christian murder and the other was about organized Islam murder. Totally different things.
