If you're talking about Jethro, it's interesting to me that he can run around calling people "jew" as an insult, then turn and mimic one when the need suits.

Also why don't you come tell us why you took postliberty down. Was it getting to popular? It was about to eclipse christines site. Did they tell you to take it down or they wouldn't be your friend anymore?
It's the easiest way...there's not enuff hours in a day to try and establish the bona fides of multiple characters, imho...the duplicate screen names end up being post&runners, whereas the permanent screen name means you must be accountable for whatever positions you take and for the way you defend your position.

I (as briefly as possible, trust me) removed "Mud" from the filter to check out these missing posts.. They're his and I say he's lying his ass off in #32.
The two handles he offered as some kind of backward, school yard "Mud proof" that he's not posting under multiple handles (?) are two that he's already burned..
Between this and the easy and almost institutionalized acknowledgement of using multiple nics as "being post&runners" when you don't want to have to "be accountable for whatever positions you take" I'd say our 'ole buddy "Mud" is little more than a serial disruptor.

Thank you for your courtesy. It has been a pleasure to post here and at other, mostly lesser, forums of the public exchange. This was, of course, a golden opportunity for the entire anti-Nixonian Washington establishment to pretend as if 'deep throat' was a real person.
Felt's age and possibly mental fitness, as Andrea Mitchell rightly points out are factors in the 'now or never' revelation agreed upon with serendipity just yesterday, even though Felt has been ruled out for years from the list of candidates, because he doesn't correlate in too many important details, accounts and characteristics with the 'deep' character of the story.
Can there be any doubt now that the WP was wrong in running the story ?
Responsible journalists cannot run a story aimed at taking down a President on one anonymous source. the Post not only ran it they virtually created an election year scandal by fiat. Then when Nixon won 49 States the Post was only too eager to override that vote.
Nixon was right; there was one standard for Democrats, one for Republicans and one for him. Still he remains one of the single most important Presidents ever. We'd still be in Vietnam ( a democrat war if ever there was one, as Sen. Dole rightly commented ) if not for Richard Nixon.
I also feel that there has been an obvious betrayal of the presumed conditions of anonymity for this Source since Woodward and Bernstein were clear that the Source would be revealed, after his demise. Recently they even broke the story that he was 'near death'.
These important facts do not add up.

Please let me know what you find out...are IP addresses particular to a specific computer or are they accessible from various routes?
It depends, actually. The same IP address can show up for a lot of computers at one institution if all web traffic channels through a single proxy server. Users of AOL or similar huge online dialup services assign IP's dynamically every time someone connects to the net, so it's distantly possible 2 different people could happen upon the same IP given enough time.
But users with broadband access to the net usually have a single relatively constant IP address. Cable companies seem to like to change it only every few months, DSL seems to be a permanent IP.
Bottom line, it's a strong indicator of something common between 2 posters, but whether it's a long shot coincidence, 2 people from the same university, home or one person with one computer, it's a bit short of being sufficient for a conviction. It takes a little bit more evidence to convince me beyond reasonable doubt that there's a match. Like posting style, posting times, or other commonalities.
