18 Republican Senators Sell Out Second Amendment in Passing Omnibus Spending Bill

In passing the $1.7 trillion spending bill that Biden has promised to sign into law shortly, 18 Republican senators (all of whom claim on their websites that they support the Second Amendment) joined with every Senate Democrat in passing the monstrous, pork-laden, and anti-Second Amendment 2023 Omnibus Appropriations Act. After being approved by the Senate by a 68-29 vote, the bill moved to the House, where Democrats quickly passed it. Biden has confirmred that he will sign it. Click for Full Text!

The violent winter storm that has ravaged much of the lower 48 states over the Christmas holiday has claimed dozens of lives. At least one politician — New York Governor Kathy Hochul — is blaming climate change, which used to be referred to as global warming, for the deadly weather. Buffalo, New York, has been hit particularly hard by the wicked winter weather. As of this writing, at least 31 people have died in Erie County, which encompasses the Buffalo area, with the death toll expected to rise. In a blistering December 20 statement, the Kansas Catholic Conference denounced Planned Parenthood for the “despicable act” of bypassing physicians in order to sell abortion drugs directly to women without medical supervision. According to the Conference, “The Telemedicine Act had required an attending physician be present in person when the two-part abortion pill protocol was prescribed. On Friday, multiple U.S. power companies issued an emergency request to customers to turn down their thermostats due to extreme cold and wind straining the power grid. The requests lasted until Christmas Eve on Saturday and were said to be a result of “unprecedented” demand for power during last week’s storm and cold weather.
